Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
In the aftermath of their battle with SunClan, many SwiftClan cats were understandably over-protective of the kits that were left. Chimerastar himself had chastised Lovepaw for the questionable safety of bringing her litter back from SummerClan. Tawnykit, unfortunately, didn't seem to have gotten that memo.
It had been the dew on the grass outside, glittering in the pre-dawn moonlight, that had initially drawn her away from the huddle of where her and her family had been sleeping in the temporary camp. The movement of the light across the droplets of water had made her think it was some sort of glittering jewel, or an as-yet-undiscovered species of brilliant beetle, and she had climbed carefully over the sleeping bodies of her family, determined to be the first one to capture whatever it was. When she got outside and found nothing but wet grass, Tawnykit's disappointment was huge, but she was quickly cheered up by a large moth that fluttered by her nose.
"C'mere, mothy," Tawnykit enticed, making a wild swipe in the air towards the bug, which winged itself smartly out of her reach and fluttered off into the night. Not to be thwarted so easily, Tawnykit eagerly gave chase, straying further and further away from her slumbering clanmates in pursuit.
