Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Autumngossamer was in DayClan. Jetfire hated him, was sick or both. Nikkohydrangea never come back after the wedding. The only cat left he truly trusted, Duskslayer, had been keeping secrets from him for moons right under his nose. With Littlecrow and many others in prison, he felt more alone than he ever had before, and one of the few relationships that seemed undamaged by recent events was the one he barely had with Anemoneshade. She was pureblood SunClan, sweet, listened well. He wasn't sure exactly what he needed from her but thought maybe, just maybe, she would be able to fill the void.
"Anemoneshade, I need your help with something."
Even though the sun had nearly set, Bloodystar looked radiant as always, his ginger fur groomed to perfection with immaculate paint applied by none other than the master himself, Duskslayer. The paint was especially thick under Bloodystar's eyes, a bright rose red, likely to hide the fact that the High Priest was restless. His edgy expression, rank and good looks made him any she-cat's dream.

Even if it didn't look like it, there were some cracks forming under the surface. Anemoneshade had left the wedding the instant she heard it was for Bloodystar and Jetfire, snuggling up in her nest with half a rabbit and some broken dreams. She heard from the others how it went, a mess. There was a little satisfaction in how unhappy Jetfire seemed with the whole thing, a dark sort of pettiness Anemoneshade didn't even realize she had. If she was up there with Bloodystar, things would have gone differently.
But she wasn't.
So she began watching things pass by without even blinking, letting herself question it. It was his Sunclan, and she was going to support it. Anemoneshade was getting ready to settle down when Bloodystar approached her. She didn't care for the edginess, wanting to see the tom underneath it all. "Of course." She jumped at the chance, trying to calm her racing heart. "What can I do for you?"
(sorry for short just trying to get them someplace more private xD)
"Duskslayer and the Janus are busy this morning, so I've no one to help me in the Ceremony Springs," Normally this was not a problem, Bloodystar often tended the herbs by himself and sometimes preferred it, but he didn't want to be alone this morning nor could he deny the affection he felt for the gray-and-white Warrior, "I just need another set of paws. Some herbs have tricky roots that are difficult for one cat to handle."

Yes. She hadn't blown it. This was her chance to finally talk to Bloodystar one on one. Last time had gone horrendously, she expected to be ignored. Anemoneshade couldn't have stopped her eyes from widening if she wanted to. She didn't let herself question how they were all busy enough to not help, even if something nagged at her. "Of course. I'll be more than happy to help." Anemoneshade didn't know what she was getting into. But she wanted to help Bloodystar no matter what.
"Alright then, let's get going," Bloodystar smiled, touching his tail tip to her shoulder before descending from the High Priest's den and leading her to the Ceremony Springs. The walk seemed to go by in a flash, or perhaps it drug on forever, he hardly spoke at all until they reached their destination.
"I'm going to harvest the ginseng today. It's a very rare root with numerable medical uses... Some have even called it a cure-all," Bloodystar explained as he approached a small patch of five-leaf stocks. At the center of the plant were tiny red berries. It was a very and the leaves were slightly wilted, even in this extremely fertile, God-blessed land, it was struggling to grow.
Gently Bloodystar pushed the leaves aside and began to dig at the base of the plant. After a few moments he motioned for Anemoneshade to join him, "Grab the base of the root and pull."

The walk went by in a blur, cause Anemoneshade was fighting with herself. She wanted to just talk to him, but was suddenly fighting herself over little things. Like, what if he was still mad about last time? What was she going to say? She wanted to have faith, and support him unconditionally, just like she had before. But her mind wrangled with this frustration that kept her silent. She wasn't used to holding herself back, and now that she was, she was overthinking everything. It was such a pain.
It's what made her head snap towards Bloodystar once he started talking again like she had forgotten he was there. Even though he had captured every one of her thoughts in the walk. "Wow. It's amazing what we've been blessed with." She purred, starting small. Her amber eyes narrowed at the small plant, how the berries were not even as big as one of her toes.
She joined him slowly, taking every percaution to not get in his way. Anemoneshade worked a little at the base and between the roots until she could get a solid grip. "Okay, on three. One... two... three!" And then she heaved.
