Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Sleetpaw thought he was a handsome devil, but he was beginning to lament his own good looks. His dark silver-striped fur was stark against his snowy surroundings, and even as he crouched at the base of rocks to stare warily out, his fur did not blend well with the shadow. That wouldn't stop him, though: he liked the freedom of being out of camp to hunt, and if it just took him a bit longer than most, he would take it. His ears pricked as the young novice finally caught sight of his quarry again and slunk after the hare again, doggedly pursuing it among the trees. It was a little too far, and with the low tangles of undergrowth, there was no way he could beat it in a race; he just had to wait.
Finally, it came to a halt again, lifting its head to look around. He didn't hesitate. Sprinting forward, he leaped and slammed against the prey, rolling them both over. His teeth found the nape of its neck beneath the thick fur and ended its life, and then he spat it out, panting but victorious.
A cat had been watching the whole scene unfold. In truth, she was a bit impressed. Letting a smile flit across her lips, Icedivy slipped from the snowy undergrowth and waved her tail as she spoke. ”That was a rather good catch.” The compliment seemed genuine, despite the two having never really conversed before.

"You mean amazing!" Silverpaw purred having accompanied Icedivy on a walk when they say her brother, Sleetpaw, make his catch. She hopped on her paws and purred in excitement.
"Thanks!" The panting tom looked up and grinned at his sudden audience. "Were you watching me this whole time? You couldn't helped, ya know!" He rolled his eyes, but he was glad he hadn't: it was so much more exciting to hunt on his own than as a team. There was a satisfaction to teamwork, but it was thrilling to be the sole hunter and know he had to be better than his prey instead of just lucky.

“Pffft if I had helped you’d be congratulating me!” Silverpaw teased coming closer to look over his catch. “It’s more plump than the usual ones. It was peobably slow” she giggled nudging sleetpawwith her shoulder.
"You're just jealous I caught something big, and you couldn't catch a mouse if it crawled on top of your muzzle!" Sleetpaw huffed. He pivoted, his ears pinning back and a mischievous grin dawning, then pounced on his sister with a little growl.
Icedivy watched the two siblings interact. She was quiet during this, wondering what it would have been like had she had her own. Would she be close to them, like the two before her seemed? She turned away, tail tip twitching as she seemed lost in her own thoughts.

"EEEk!" Silverpaw squeaked as she took the full force of her brother playful tackle. "You may be able to catch a rabbit but you still cant pin a cat!" She giggled back and pressed her paws into his flank as she yanked on one of his ears.
"I can too!" Sleetpaw looked up as the other cat turned away and was about to say something when he felt teeth pull on his ear. "Hey!" he yipped, clumsily batting her away.

"Don't let them tear each other apart." came Cypressbluff's voice as the queen stepped from the brush and settled next to Icedivy. Their mother watched them wrestle with a soft purr.
At her brothers defensive batting she let go of his ear and pushed away landing with her front low and her tail and rump high in the air behind her. "You'll never be able to best me!" She gloated. Silverpaw's ego showing its colors.
Icedivy glanced to the queen and offered a light smile. ”They are rather full of life. I remember when I was once that way.” She commented, a small purr slipping through her lips. Memories of her father teaching her outside of other trainings were still vivid, and somewhat made her heart ache.
He shook his head as he rose to his paws, hurrying to arch his back and puff out his short fur in all directions. "Yeah I will! You just watch!" he hissed competitively. He rocked on his paws, then launched himself at her again, front paws raised high to swat at her ears.

"Eep!" She tried to duck but took a few swats before leaping forward to wrap her forpaws arpund his middle and send them rolling. "Whaaaaaa!" She cried as they rolled.
"Yes I do too." she purred to the warrior. "It seems like only yesterday they were little fluffs in my nest."
"Oof!" The breath was knocked out of Sleetpaw as he fell and rolled on the ground with his sister wrapped around him, tumbling right into Icedivy. He struggled to free himself and stand back up.. while aiming a playful side-swipe at his sister. "Sorry, Icedivy!"
