Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
There was a relaxed atmosphere to Fallclan the more the weather cooled, a more festive air. The tom wondered if it was due to the season of the clans namesake being right around the corner. Regardless if left him feeling more flirtatious, more outgoing, falling into an unhurried tour of the cats of the clan. Smiling at the apprentices and playing with the kits. It was as if the more he relaxed the more he remembered his desire for a family, or for romance at-least. Sometimes he was still regretful he had left the budding sparks he had had with those in the Regime behind, other times he felt like he had escaped a ball and chain.
A heavy sigh escaped him as he shook his head and pushed away trivial thoughts of the past away. Tearing his thoughts away from seduction, deciding it would be foolish to start a whirlwind romance just for kits. Even if the thought of young little kittens looking up to him and tumbling over his paws was a delightful one. Instead he pushed to his paws and shook out his fur, glancing around for someone to drag onto an adventure.

It was another beautiful day in FallClan, but not one for the trading of goods. There were a lot of alternatives to his favorite hobby however, and the day brought so much potential. He could go "treasure" hunting or socialize with any number of his friends. However, the soot-colored tom had felt a yearning for something else. Perhaps the feeling had first breached him as he was sitting off in a corner of the camp, observing his clanmates with mild interest. One cat in particular had caught his eye. Le Petit Volontaire--a white and gray warrior with mismatched eyes. Treasurecove had never spoken to him outside of passing, but now he felt compelled to.
Le Petit Volontaire had been relaxing for a long time now, all while he'd been stealing glances from time to time. He'd been interested in the warrior then, but now that he was up and looking for something or someone, Treasurecove couldn't help himself. Even though he wasn't out in the open, he was still visible to anyone that looked his way. So, he waited for the tom's eyes to catch his and refused to look away. It would be hard for the other not to come to him now, surely. If that was what he had desired to do...
Le Petit Volontaire did indeed catch Treasurecoves pale green eyes, holding the others gaze for a few moments before tilting his head to the side and scanning the rest of the tom. He wasn't bad looking, not someone he would be ashamed to be seen with later. So the slim tom decided he company would do as well as any others. Even if he had heard more than a few disparaging remarks against the other warrior. Still, Treasurecove was young yet, he had time to learn if he was really as despicable as one particular vitriolic cat had said.
Mind made up he moved towards the other, pace slow and a soft smile given to the other as a greeting. The silence sitting upon them for a moment before Le Petit Volontaire spoke. "Hello there, I'm Le Petit Volontaire, though you can call me Volontaire or Petit. Whichever one you prefer." His voice was warm, as it often was, though it was lacking his usual playfulness. His attitude had been rather mellow since arriving, and his guard had all but disappeared while among the clan. "I was wondering if you would like to wander the territory with me, perhaps even go beyond it if the mood strikes?"

Treasurecove wasn't oblivious to the tom's scrutinizing, but he took no offense. If anything, his interest in the warrior only became more stimulated, especially as he started making his way over. So I've been deemed worthy to approach, eh? There always seemed to be a smile on Treasurecove's face, but he met the other's with a wider version of his own. A brief silence followed the warrior's arrival in front of him, but soon Le Petit Volontaire cut in with his intention. There was a warmth to his tone--something he was not used to being on the receiving end of--but he doubted its authenticity. The suspicion never crossed his features though.
"Hello, Le Petit Volontaire. What a mouthful! So, Petit it is," he replied in a singsong voice, carefully noting the tom's reaction. It was always good to test one's reactivity and temper when meeting for the first time, at least in his opinion. "I would love to accompany you and feel free to call me Treasurecove or Treasure. Whichever you prefer."
His smile became slightly crooked in silent amusement or agreement it was hard to tell when the other tom declared on the length of his title. "It was a gift." He remarked on his name, eyes lightening some as he recalled those times when he was much younger than he was now. As the tom continued to speak he felt an ear twitch at his emphasize on certain words but dismissed the wariness that resulted. He had made it through some harrowing experiences, if this turned into a trial then so be it.
"Treasure, ah that was a rather fond nickname I gifted an old lover of mine." He huffed a small laugh, "so Treasurecove it is." He had no desire to be reminded of the tom that had tried to steal his heart simply because he thought it would be a challenge. There was no use in being reminded of their pitiful end. "So off we go then, let me know if anything catches your interest. As there is truly no itinerary for this trip." He purred before moving off and heading out of camp.

The mention of a past lover held him for a moment. The way the warrior had brought them up and then discarded the subject in an instant was a curious thing. The laugh played it off as nothing, but Treasurecove suspected it was only a mechanism to steer the conversation in another direction. Interesting. "Oh, I'll be sure to let you know! My eyes will be peeled for any sparkling 'trinkets' out there. If something catches my eye, we'll have no choice but to stop," the tom purred back as he met the other's side. His fur brushed the other warrior's as they walked, but Treasurecove showed no sign of creating a more acceptable distance between them. "So, what made you want to wander?"
[ omg he's perfect! He's like volontaire back when he was being a nuisance though treasurecove might be worse! love it! ]
"I don't often stay in one place, not for very long at-least. I find that spending a day wandering around and away from others lets me decompress enough to consider staying for awhile longer yet." While this was true it was only a vague reason for his paws being determined to take him away from camp today. But he had no idea how to put into words that sometimes his wanderlust was so strong he needed to stray from the places he knew like a newborn kit needed milk. "What sort of trinkets do you collect may I ask? It seems a broad term."

(Haha thank you! I love cats like Treasurecove, so I would've really enjoyed Volontaire back when he was a nuisance )
Treasurecove understood what he meant about needing to get out of camp every now and then. Even he found himself outside of FallClan's camp and territory more times than he could count. "Seems strange that you would invite me along then." He eyed Le Petit Volontaire with a smirk for a few seconds before he turned forward with a cheery innocence. "It is a broad term because I never know what I might find! Rocks, shells, crystals, you name it. Some might say it's junk, but that's only a surface-level thought." Glancing back to his companion again he added, "One must dive deeper to find the value."
