Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The last place Shadeflower would ever consider checking for her apprentice would be Lover's Lane, what with Goldpaw's wholly unromantic disposition and lacking charm, so it was here that he had settled for a quick nap. After all, defending Bloodystar's honor from those disenchanted by his leadership was tiring work, moreso than his training was. His body felt warmer here, as though the clouds had parted just long enough to christen him, but soon the shadows overlapped the scene once more and his namesake pelt lost its luster.

Blissfulkit wasn’t sure where she was. She wasn’t even sure how she had gotten here. The fluffy gray kit had been wandering around looking for Scorchedwhisker, unable to find the warrior in the camp. He wouldn’t like it when he found her missing from the nursery. Blissfulkit continued on, constantly distracted by everything around her. That was until she tripped and stumbled over the form of Goldpaw.
Although he wouldn't have liked to admit being in the same place as a kit when it came to knowledge of the territory, Applepaw was also thoroughly lost - or at least he had been, until he'd stumbled into Lover's Lane. It hadn't exactly been a major part of Swelteringeclipse's tour of the territory, but he had heard the rumors about it and couldn't help but be a little intrigued. Having found himself there, the gangly apprentice couldn't help but look around - like Goldpaw, he was unlikely to get an invitation there, and with all the insecurities of youth he had all but convinced himself by this point that he wouldn't ever be invited there.
"Oh, sorry!" he yelped as he came around a corner just in time to see a clump of gray fur tumbling over a clump of golden, spinning around before he had seen anything more than a blur of fur. Of course he had inadvertently walked into something, it was Lover's Lane after all.
He was about to unleash hell's wrath on the soul so unfortunate to cross his path... or, in the most literal sense, cross him. Goldpaw sputtered, startled, and scrambled in that order, and he would never admit to the fact that he was actually a little scared at first, thinking he'd been beset upon, so when he rounded on his attacker- with his pelt disheveled and spiking out at all angles- and found it to be a kitten, he was both quickly diffused and confused. "O-oh, um, Blissfulkit." It was said between coughs, Goldpaw trying to regain some semblance of composure. "What are you doing here?"
His attention was swiftly drawn to the movement at the fringes of the clearing. The flash of orange wasn't reassuring, his instincts screaming intruder nonetheless, and he stepped around the kitten to bristle in that direction instead. "You can come out now. I'm not scared of you," snarled Goldpaw with a puffed out chest, squinted gaze, and a lot of hope that he looked as intimidating as he thought he sounded.

Blissfulkit sat up an twitched her nose she looked up at the apprentice. "Huh? Oh!" The fluffy gray tabby said as she looked around. "Well... I was in the camp looking for Scorchedwhisker but I couldn't find him, and so I started walking around. I guess I forgot to pay attention to where I was going again because I ended up here!" She exclaimed. The young kit watched the apprentice as he challenged the invisible presence, or so she thought, tilting her head to the side. It wasn't until she looked and saw another of the apprentice's scurrying away. "Oh! Its Applepaw! Hi Applepaw! Did you get lost too!" Blissfulkit asked as she trotted towards him
A hot flush of embarrassment was spreading across Applepaw's cheeks as he spun around, but it was quickly stopped in its tracks as a familiar voice growled behind him - and then was followed by the high-pitched voice of Blissfulkit. Why was Goldpaw out here with a kit?
He spun around, blinking at the two unlikely companions. "No, of course I'm not lost," asserted Applepaw rather unconvincingly, deciding not to admit in front of Goldpaw that he had been very much lost. "I, uh, was just doing a round of territory and I thought I'd come check it out. I didn't expect anyone else to be here."
"You just got lucky it was us and not some other cats who would have torn your ears off," grumbled Goldpaw as he started to settle down, now realizing that both of his supposed threats were nothing more than clanmates. It might have calmed him down were it not for his wounded pride. Appearances were important to him, and he felt like nothing more than a fool in front of both Blissfulkit and Applepaw.
Turning to Blissfulkit, he chided the kitten in a much softer voice this time, "You really shouldn't be out of camp. I mean, really, how did you not notice that you weren't in the gorge anymore?"

The gray and white kitten let out a short giggle, having been distracted by a bright yellow butterfly that had flown past her nose. Her ears twitched when she heard Goldpaw's statement. Blissfulkit turned towards him and let out a sheepish giggle. "Oh! Well I don't know really! I thought Scorchedwhisker would be out of the camp or in the tunnel so I went there, but then I started thinking about what would happen when I became a warrior! Would I share a nest with my big brother? I didn't think so because he can get really grumpy about his space sometimes, but then he seems to like me so I think he'd be okay with it. Oh and then I saw this really big crawling against the stone so I followed that and then I ended up here!"
Applepaw felt a brief pang of resentment that Goldpaw seemed so irritated with him only to adopt a soft tone with Blissfulkit, who in his opinion had committed the much larger sin of sneaking out of camp with no supervision. Applepaw was at least allowed to be here. "Well, you should pay attention to where you're going, Blissfulkit," said Applepaw, his tone coming off a littler harsher than he meant it to. "You can't just follow bugs around, that could get you into a really unsafe situation."

Blissfulkit looked up at Applepaw with wide eyes before she looked sheepishly down at her paws. “But the bugs looked really cool...” She muttered softly. It wasn’t as though she had purposefully left camp. It was an accident, truly! She just wanted to find Scorchedwhisker and she knew her half-brother would already be angry with her once he found out she hadn’t been paying attention again. “And... and it’s not as though I went into another clan’s territory...! I’m still in Sunclan lands...! So... well so there’s that right? Am I going to be in trouble? You don’t think I will be, right? I don’t want to be in trouble! Oh no, will Bloodystar still let me be an apprentice..?! He won’t put me in prison because I left camp will he?! I don’t think he will... oh no but what if he does!”
Goldpaw cast a scathing look towards Applepaw as the kitten's anxiety started to rise. "Bloodystar's not going to throw you in prison, Blissfulkit," he assured her. "You may get in trouble, but maybe we can tell him you were trying to help Applepaw find his way back to camp. You know, he's always getting lost and such." It seemed an appropriate punishment, if he were in a position to give one, and though he may not have kept up too much with his denmates, it didn't take a genius to notice Applepaw's poor knowledge of the territory.

Blissfulkit seemed to perk up at that. She looked up at Applepaw and tilted her head. “How come you get lost so often? Oh! Do You get distracted like me? Scorchedwhisker says that I’ll never be a good warrior if I keep getting distracted the way I do.” The fluffy tabby said with an affirmative nod. “Oh! Do you need help getting around like Goldpaw said? I could help you!”
