Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
His steps were silent as he moved through the bramble archway and into the camp, yellow eyes taking in the bodies standing around, the kits playing, and those sharing tongues. It was a rather surreal moment, where his mind flashed back to his beginning in Springclan. Further cemented by the fact that just like in the past he was following after his brother.
"Hey! Hey, you!" He called to the first cat that got close enough, uncaring that he made for a poor sight with his dirty skin, and the general disheveled air he was carrying with him. It was almost a blessing he was hairless, for it would take him moments to clean himself up to something presentable again opposed to if he had a luxurious coat. Or so he told himself to try and make his general circumstances less depressing to himself.
"Is there a cat by the name of Hystericplague here?" He asked, tone harsh and brow furrowed. "Looks sort like me, as in he also looks like a drowned rat. He's got this annoying cough that seems to never cease and drives you up a wall the more time you spend with him." He waited for an answer but upon only receiving stuttering decided to further expand upon his description. Sure, he had probably given enough identifying information that if they did know Hysteric they would know who he was talking about; but maybe they were slow or something.
"The more he speaks the more you consider quietly trying to drown him or some other feasible untraceable method of murder?" Getting ever more frustrated the more he even thought about his brother he growled under his breath, "that fool told me there was a Hystericplague in this clan. He better not have lied to me."
It was one of the rare times lately that Hystericstar ever left his den, and this was what he was greeted with? At first he had thought that the small commotion was of no importance, but then he had caught a glance of the intruder that was harassing the cats in camp. How had he even managed to get this far before anyone stopped him? Were his patrols slacking that much lately that not only was his den suddenly full of kits of unknown origin, but a ghost from his past had come to haunt him as well? He would have to send Jayjaw to yell at them.
Hystericstar slowly walked past the cat that was being questioned, his gut telling him that he should just go back to his den, but it seemed that more cats would just keep getting harassed until an answer was given. "I thought you were dead," he said, fighting the itchiness in his throat. Coughing now would not go well for him.
"You would know otherwise if you had any loyalty." Bitter words often seemed to escape him even when he knew they would do him do good. Hysteric had never had that capacity to care for others emotions, or even really care at all. Biting down on the tirade that wanted to escape after that statement he took a deep breath. Reminding himself that he was here to reconcile, to make a new start; not to grab Hysteric by the back of the neck and drag him around while trying to force him to see sense.
"And you'll see I have in-fact changed, I'm skinnier." He refuted flicking whip like tail towards his skinny build, the hint of ribs rather clearly seen. Hide scarred and ugly in places from his unfortunate encounter with a car. So used to those things he barley noticed them, the hunger he had been plagued with though on his journey to find his brother had been new though and he hated it.
"Don't distract me!" He suddenly snapped, eyes narrowing as he stepped forward to be nose to nose with his brother. While of the same litter he always considered Hysteric the younger, the weaker, a figure he could boss and push around for his own amusement. "Where have you been? Why are you here in Fallclan?"
