Scorchedwhisker was a motivated warrior when he had to be. He still fought to prove his loyalty to Sunclan and undo the follies of his father. Some Sunclan warrior… having kits with a Moonclan she-cat. Scorchedwhisker would make a new name for himself, outside of the tarnished legacy his parents left him. But as motivated as he could be, the tom could be just as lazy. He no longer cared much about what the rest of the clan would think of him. He knew his own worth… at least that’s what he would tell himself. The tan tom cat gave himself a long stretch, his claws flexing a bit in the air as he rolled onto his back. To Scorchedwhisker, today was the perfect lazy day.
She knew nothing of the clan's history, of Scorchedwhisker's history, or really of anyone's history. Null was here for one reason only: She was curious about SunClan and its steadfast belief system. The initiate eyed Scorchedwhisker from a distance but didn't make an approach, unsure of if he would bark an order that she would have to obey, which was perhaps the one part of the program she disliked. It had been a long time since she'd yielded to anyone else's will.

Scorchedwhisker twitched his whiskers as he felt a pair of eyes on his pelt. The tom pinned his ears to his head as he rolled onto his stomach. His blue eyes narrowed, he scanned the camp to see if anyone was watching him. When his eyes landed on Null his lip curled, revealing one sharp fang as his tail began to lash. "Hey!" He called out to her as he slowly sat up. "Do you need something? Have a problem?" He practically snapped at her
"I didn't, but maybe I do now wirh your sour attitude." She cast him a pointed glare. Though his prickly demeanor didn't affect her much, it did become grating to always be on the receiving end of the clan cats' bad days. When they weren't praising their deceased god, they were spitting insults and barbed malice at each other.

"Get used to it, sweetheart." Scorchedwhisker sneered. "The sour attitude isn't going anywhere." The cream-colored tom lashed his tail slightly as he flexed his claws into the dirt. "Don't you have somewhere to be? Or do, initiate?"
At the distasteful way he spat the title at her, she stalked towards him. "I may be an initiate now, but I won't always be- and you might want to consider that before you go around making enemies of the wrong cats," she warned, quiet malice laced in her tone.

Scorchedwhisker couldn't help the smirk that graced his narrow face at her little threat. She wouldn't be the first one that tried to pick a fight with him. One of the many wonderful qualities of being a halfclan disgrace. He looked the initiate up and down with a twitch of his whiskers. She had a fire in her belly. Good, it would get her far in the initiation process. Or it could be smoldered over the course of her trials. Scorchedwhisker felt himself shrug at the concept. "Maybe you should be more careful who you stare at." He spat.
"Well if you weren't so ugly, maybe you wouldn't draw attention to yourself," she sneered. The tom was by no means ugly in any sense, besides maybe with the way his attitide was overshadowed by a history she knew nothing about, but Null wasn't the type to back down. She held his stare even still, an energy reminscent of bottled lightning veiled behind furious green eyes.

Scorchedwhisker snickered as he bent his head down and scratched behind his ear. "Think of that one all by yourself did you?" He countered, his blue eyes glinting with amusement as the pair went back and forth with each other. "I'm sure you could do better than that." The siamese tom sneered as he straightened himself once more.
Her lips were curled back in a snarl, but, with great effort, Null managed to lay every last hair on her pelt back down. She wouldn't be goaded anymore. "Was that one too easy? I didn't think your single brain cell could handle anything else," she simpered.

"Oh, another good one." Scorchedwhisker mused as he stretched. "I'd say you're getting better at your insults. Not that it really matters to me." The siamese tom said as he sat back down
