Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The complexities of the situation unfolding around him went completely over Applepaw's head. All he knew was that he had a leader who was loyal to the god that he had been raised to believe in, and he knew that Goldpaw - his best friend - believed in Bloodystar with all his heart and soul. And so, with all the critical thinking skills of a barely apprenticed tom with one friend, his loyalty had also been thrown firmly into Bloodystar's corner.
Goldpaw flung himself into the fray, and Applepaw didn't think about it. He jumped after him, the adrenaline taking over as his claws reached out, seeking contact with the closest part of Brilliantbeacon's flank. He wasn't in a much better situation than Goldpaw was - he was taller than his denmate, but he had no weight to put any force into his gangly limbs.
Ghazen couldn't have cared less about the chaos. He heard Lionpride's yowl and Mountain's brutish grunts, but it didn't mean anything. They had to worry about themselves, and staying out of the prison for as long as they could. Granted, the initiate's den would only buy them moments, but they were moments without prying ears. For the next few moons, he knew privacy would be fleeting. He glanced back over his shoulder, and was relieved when no one was following them yet. He turned his attention back to the rocky walk a little to late. A rock gave from under his paw and he tumbled to the ground.

Sunnysmiles must have stopped at the right time, looking over her shoulder. Though she couldn't even catch a glimpse of her brother, it let her sit on a more secure rock as Ghazen lost his balance. It was an instinct to scurry down the hill and rush to his side, not an act of love or anything as romantic. "Are you okay, Ghazen?" Her tone held urgency, though was lost in the crowd. She kneeled down slightly to try and help push him up, but it was of no use.

Well, if this was going to turn into a fight, Elfears figured this was the best time to join in. So, she did. Except, she wasn't on Bloodystar's side for this one. Foxbane's granddaughter slid into the fray, dragging Applepaw away from Brilliantbeacon and chucking the body towards Goldpaw to get the pair off of Littlestar's daughter and focused on her instead. Elfears was thin and regal, a tall cream feline with tall, sharply pointed ears and green eyes flecked with sky blue and fairy light gold. She moved with grace and ferocity, flashing a dangerous smile that was eerily similar to the ex-Priestess she was related to, though significantly less dark. "Not your fight. You fight me, or you don't fight at all." She stated, baring long fangs as she lunged for the apprentices once more. meowwoof
Brilliantbeacon couldn't help but appreciate Elfears jumping in to help. Well, she would have, if she'd even registered the other cats around her, and the sudden disappearance of the two apprentices was barely a thought in her mind. "Only an idiot provokes a fight and can't back it up with claws." She let him whip around and dig fangs into her shoulder, letting go of his flank to press forward and force him back, and hopefully up, lunging for his soft underbelly with her claws, even as she felt his teeth tearing into flesh. Bloodystar bit down on his own tongue, the taste of his own blood the only thing choking back a yowl of pain from Brilliantbeacon's attack. He wouldn't let her have the satisfaction of knowing that she had hurt him, although at this point it was rather moot, her attack left a deep and free-flowing wound starting at his flank and digging down into his stomach. He managed to pull away at the last second but the damage was done. He hadn't lost a lot of blood just yet, but this was the kind of wound that could kill, if not from blood loss then from infection that would follow. He staggered in place as blood pooled at his paws.
Discordantmelody, senses finally regained, lunged at Brilliantbeacon and managed to push her back long enough for Bloodystar to retreat back to the High Priest's den with the help of a couple loyalists.
"That was a dirty trick, sis." It was an obscure relation, sure, but Discordantmelody was Bloodystar's half-sister and Bloodystar was married to Jetfire who was Brillianbeacon's full sister, making the two of them sisters, kinda, "I think some time in prison aught to cool you down."
