Queenkit woke up to a plump mouse laying next to her nest. She yawned and looked around to see who had left it. Not seeing anyone, the orange and white tabby kit stretched in her nest and returned her eyes to her meal, lazily eyeing it. She rose to a sitting position and sniffed the mouse. It was still warm and it smelled good. She took a bite of it, chewed it slowly, before rising to her paws, grabbing the mouse and heading out of the den. She walked to a grassy area and crouched to continue her meal as she watched the camp. The sun was out and warmed her pelt. The warrior's and apprentices were busy either patrolling, hunting, or training. The other kits her subjects were either, playing, eating or sleeping still. It was early morning so — she didn't except much to be happening.
Rarely did Heatherkit have the courage to leave the nursery all on her own, but the weather was fair and the camp very quiet. She decided it was time to do some exploring. As she carefully tiptoed her way out of the nursery, she picked up the scent of Queenkit's mouse and her mouse watered, so she followed after it with her ashy lavender eyes on the ground. She approached the other kit in a slightly roundabout way, sometimes walking in the wrong direction for a moment before correcting herself, although eventually she did make it to Queenkit, bumping into her, "Oh, I'm sorry!" She sounded pretty upset, "Are you okay?"
You were barely bothered when you ate your meals. None of the kits would come near you too afraid to that if they did you would claw their ears off. You were enjoying the peace and quiet, something you raely got since you were always bossing the other kits around. You took another bite of your meal fell over as a weight of someone pushed you over. "Hey!" You call out as you look to see Heatherkit. "Why did you do that?" You asked sternly, your eyes narrowed in anger.
"I-I didn't mean to!" Heatherkit looked on the verge of tears but she was doing her best to hold it together. She lowered her head to the ground, so low that her whiskers brushed the dirt, "Are you okay?" She repeated her question from earlier earnestly, unable to make such a judgement on her own. At least she didn't smell blood or anything that would suggest an injury.

Queenkit narrowed her eyes as she listened to her Clan-mate. "I'm fine!" She snapped at her irritated. "Why didn't you pay attention to where you were walking?" She asked with a flick of her tail.
"I try, but it's hard sometimes when lots of cats are around..." Heatherkit whimpered, her unseeing eyes still on the ground, "... I'll go back to the nursery so I'm not a bother to anyone.." Lifting her head, she tasted the air and cocked it roughly in the direction she had come from, it was pretty easy to backtrack. She shakily found her footing and began to back away.

I looked at the other kit with a frown. I knew she was blind, but didn't really care, not much, anyways. I let out a sigh. "I'm sorry!" I tell her with a frown. I guess even Queens have to say their sorry at times." You can stay if you want." I called after her, as she began to walk away towards the nursery.
"I'm going to be honest, you're really giving off a lot of mixed signals here."
It wasn't Heatherkit that spoke, though, no, it was Smashkit again. The happy-go-lucky black and white she-kit narrowed her eyes at Queenkit who was for all intents and purposes her rival as she leaned into blind little Heatherkit's side, "You gotta be nice and friend or you won't have any friends, baaaaka!"
"Smashkit please... stop..." Heatherkit whimpered, although she was glad she had someone on her side. The two of them had both been born in SunClan so they had more in common than most kits in DayClan did, "... I'm okay..."

I groaned out-loud before looking at Smashkit. "No one asked for your opinion." I snarled at Smashkit, flicking my tail irritably, flattening my ears and narrowing my eyes, my hackles raised slightly.
"Oh no..." Heatherkit began to back away, only to bump into Smashkit, who seemed to want her to stay right where she was. She began to shake but didn't try to get away anymore.
"No one asked you for your opinion, Queenkit!" Smashkit lashed her tail, flattening her ears as well, "Say you're sorry to Heatherkit! Again!"
