Flamingstar sat at the entrance to the cavern, near the pool at the bottom of the cenote. The night sky reflected off of the pool so that it seemed as if a million diamonds were dancings in the ripples on the surface. She had asked Raveneye to accompany her on a stroll that night to discuss the future of Nightclan. She awaited for her deputy to join her, she should be meeting her at any moment.

The black she-cat slipped quietly through the shadows as she made her way to the decided upon meeting spot. This was her first one on one tall with Flamingstar and if she was nervous, she didn’t show it. Raveneye approached her leader with light steps and she dipped her head in greeting. “Good evening Flamingstar.” She spoke in a muted tone, not feeling to the need to raise her voice to be heard.
"Good evening, Raveneye" Flamingstar responded with a slight dip of her head. "Shall we?" She turned and began to lead the way out of camp. "So, we are, unfortunately, one cat low in the loyal guard. Which means our special forces are down one cat which, for me, is too risky. I was hoping you have noticed any cats standing out in particular." She noticed a couple cats but she was curious to hear who Raveneye thought was worthy enough to hold that position.

Raveneye was quick to fall in step with Flamingstar, humming thoughtfully as the leader spoke. The Loyal Guard was an elite selection of warriors and only the best of the best was chosen for the position. “There are some around camp that I have kept my eye on. Smokeshadow would be a wise choice. He is an exceptional fighter and his loyalty to Nightclan is unwavering. Another good choice would be Floodfate. He is an great warrior and will make a fine addition.” She responded, keeping his blue eye focused ahead of her and on her surroundings. She has always thought of her hyper vigilance as more of a blessing rather than a burden.
"Huh. Interesting that one of your suggestions was Floodfate." Flamingstar commented with a look of interest. "Floodfate was actually one of the warriors I was most concerned about. I had the loyal guard interrogate him at one point. He has proven himself a worthy warrior." Flamingstar added, nodding. Raveneye was a good choice for being her deputy. She was responsible and saw greatness in promising warriors.

Raveneye glanced to the side at her leader, giving her a small smile. “Yes. I believe that he has worked very hard to prove himself to the clan. And he has done a great job.” She replied. It seemed that Flamingstar approved of her suggestions and Raveneye felt pride swell in her chest. She was glad she could provide adequate and helpful ideas for the clan. “Did you have any in mind?” She asked, peering over to her leader.
"Hm. Let's see...I've thought about Bleakwind. He's a strong and smart warrior, very clever. Passionate, too. He really cares about Nightclan and it's well being." Flamingstar responded, not meeting Raveneye's gaze. "And there is also Raijin who has just recently joined us but he was an old friend of mine from long ago. I know I can trust him." Suddenly, a rustling sound caught Flamingstar's attention and she halted, perking her ears in the direction of the rustling.

[It doesn’t matter to me! (:]
Raveneye nodded along thoughtfully as Flamingstar spoke. Bleakwind was a great warrior and make a fine addition. “I agree about Bleakwind. Though I do not know enough about Raijin to formulate an opinion.” She responded. The black she-cat’e ears perked up as well as the rustling sound reached the duo. Her claws unsheathed and her muscles tensed. “That sounds too big to be prey.” She murmured glancing at Flamingstar.
