Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.

It was a perfect night. The moon was almost full and it cast a bright light over the multi-falls, giving everything it touched a silvery glow. The air was warm and fireflies flashed to the beat of the musical chorus that the crickets and frogs chirped in the back ground. A wysteria tree hung elegantly over a path lined with crystals from the cavern that the moon made radiate in a multitude of colorful hues. All of Nightclan was gathered at the multi-falls for the combining of two souls, Echomelody and Beetleflight.
Flamingstar stood to the side, waiting for Echomelody to be ready to walk down the well lit isle to meet Beetleflight at the end. She had been rather confused when the two of them had come to her and asked to be wed. However, she reluctantly agreed to host the wedding. What would it hurt to allow Beetleflight and Echomelody to be the first ever Nightclan married couple? It wasnt like Flamingstar wanted to be the first wedded cat. Why didn't Kotori ever ask her?
Echomelody was out of sight, getting ready for her big night when her cold feet got to her. She began to pace and hyperventilate while her maid of honor, Creampuff, attempted to dress her. "I can't do this...I can't do this..." She repeated, trying to calm her breathing. Her closest sister, Skybrook was there trying to ease her nerves.
Skybrook frowned softly and moved forward coming up beside Echomelody. "Of course you can!" She assured her. She and Echomelody were so close they were like sisters. They'd survived a near miss with a boulder just 5 seasons ago. And now Echomelody was going to see the future Thistlebriar had granted them. "Beetleflight loves you so much. I bet he's just as nervous!"
Stealthclaw purred, Echomelody's adopted mother was weaving together a wreath for her daughter to wear atop her head. She was adding a lovely lilac to it. "IT will be lovely, Echomelody. And you don't need to worry it'll be the very first wedding of it's kind." She assured her "So this is whatever you make it."

Duskwing had taken her son aside and begun to groom him practically upon awakening. "We need to get you looking absolutely perfect this is your big night!" She told Beetleflight. The black tom's fur feeling hot from his mother's attention. He cast a desperate look towards Spiderfang and mouthed 'Help me.'
Even with Duskwing short a hind leg his mother was moving about just as fast as if she had it.

Spiderfang watched of from the side, a bemused expression on his face as their mother fussed over Beetleflight. So far he had been spared from her attentions, having only returned from working out some things for Flamingstar in time for the wedding "Don't worry brother, mom will make sure that you look great for your big day" he hated to admit it, but he was a bit jealous of his brother. He had always wanted to settle down with a nice girl of his own, but hadn't yet found a she-cat able to live up to his impossible high standards. Jetclaw
Echomelody looked at Skybrook, relieved to have her there. She really was like her sister and she would always see her as that. She let out a long breath. "Thanks, Skybrook. I'm so glad your here. Your right, I'm over thinking this." She purred before turning her attention to her adopted mother. She pressed her muzzle to Stealthclaw's and purred once more. "Thank you, mom. Thank you for everything." She looked down at the beautiful wreath her mother was weaving together. "That wreath is so beautiful. I can't wait to wear it!"
"Ohhhh! You're going to perfect Echomelody," Creampuff squealed as she nuzzled into her before looking her over, "I hope I have a big wedding like this someday. Being a blushing bride as pretty as you are," She said letting out a heavenly sigh, "You're living the dream. But how about some flowers, huh?"
Creampuff leaned her head away to pick out some flowers that were still on the limbs of branches, "I have carnations, lilies, foxgloves, rudbeckias, and begonias! Of course I had to steal the carnations and lilies from DayClan, but I doubt they'll mind," She said sheepishly.
Echomelody lowered her ears and looked at Creampuff with a grateful expression. "Awe, thank you, Creampuff! You will be beautiful on your wedding day and I can't wait for yours!" The tuxedo bride looked down at the flowers Creampuff presented to her and gave a slight chuckle at knowing her friend had stolen flowers from Dayclan territory. "All of those flowers are beautiful! Perhaps I can wear that flower crown that my mother made, wrap some vines around my tail and paws, and use those flowers to carry down the path? They smell so good!"
"I'd love nothing more!" She purred. "But we have to hurry! We don't want to keep Beetleflight waiting too long. He will get antsy." She twitched her whiskers in amusement.
Skybrook laughed. "That's true, your mate's a sweet heart but oh dear is he jumpy!" She wasn't able to see any of the flowers but she picked out some that smelled lovely and began to gather them together. "I don't know how well these look, but they smell divine." Skybrook meowed pawing together a mix of several different flowers. The colors didn't clash but there were just far too many colors to make an artistically put together bouquet. "If you don't want them to carry I think you could weave the ones that match the others Creampuff weaves in into your fur."
Stealthclaw let out a mrrow of amusement. "All right the crown is ready." She said holding it up after she'd added some of the flowers Creampuff had selected for Echomelody. "How's this look?"

Beetleflight laughed weakly as Duskwing continued to move around him smoothing out his fur and making sure not a single hair of his pelt was out of place. "I appreciate it, how do I look?" He asked looking towards Spiderfang.
"You look so handsome!" Duskwing purred stepping back to admire her work as well. "Echomelody will fall in love with you all over again!"
Beetleflight's felt his fur grow hot and he ducked his head. "Y-you think so?" He said tail flicking anxiously. He still couldn't believe this was happening he was getting married to the best cat he ever knew.
Echomelody took a look at her reflection in the water and smiled. "It's perfect! Everything is perfect! I have the best family ever!" She purred. She then noticed Skybrook's bouquet. "Skybrook's, it's so beautiful! Amazing how well you can put things together! I would love to carry this down with me. Thank you!" She nuzzled her friend, or rather her sister at this point. When she pulled away, she took a deep breath. "Am I missing anything?"

Spiderfang nodded "Not half-bad", his lip curled up into a mischievous smile "You look presentable at least" he padded forward, smoothing the last bit of fur into place "Now, go and show her why she fell for you"
Stealthclaw let out a chuckle. "You look perfect dear." She assured her daughter stepping forward and gently touching her head with her nose. "I'll go on ahead and make sure everything's ready," She said.
"Would you like Stealthclaw to walk you out to Beetleflight?" Skybrook asked. "I could go and make sure all the preparations are ready so your mom can give you away."

Beetleflight took a moment to take deep breaths to calm himself and then he drew himself up. "Yes, yes I can do this." He said.
"Good." Duskwing purred, moving to nuzzle her son before stopping. "Now then, let's go get you out there. I imagine the rest of the clan is ready for us.

Sparklingpaw was bouncing on his toes. "Isn't this exciting?" He asked his fellow apprentices. They were all carrying some flowers and fresh smelling leaves to sprinkle on the path that the bride would walk on. Their cue was to wait for Beetleflight to walk out and stop in front of Flamingstar and then when Echomelody appeared with her escort they would scatter their leaves on the path she would walk down.
"Of course! I would love nothing more than for my mother to walk me down" Echomelody purred, eyeing her adoptive mother lovingly before turning to Skybrook. "Thank you for offering to make sure everything is perfect. I know I can trust you." Echomelody always did act like Skybrook was never blind. Of course she would always help Skybrook when she needed it but she never made her friend feel like she couldn't do anything due to her lack of sight. "I think I'm ready." She announced with a nod.
Giantpaw looked at Sparklingpaw with a raised eyebrow. He wasn't quite sure how he felt yet about participating in this wedding, but he participated like a good little NightClanner nonetheless. In his mouth was a particularly strong smelling flower. The apprentice held back a sneeze. Jetclaw
Beetleflight and his mother walked towards where the ceremony would be held. Duskwing spotting Skybrook, the blind she cat making her way over to the gathered cats.
"Everyone! We're ready to start!" Skybrook called.
Squirrelleap, having to act as the wedding coordinator as he'd been the only one to experience a wedding, albeit a SunClan styled one. Nodded his head. "All right everyone clear the aisle," He said moving down the aisle, nudging some of the cats back into clusters that wouldn't block the couple's path. Then he went over to his own position by the apprentices ready to cue them up after Beetleflight and Duskwing made their way to Flamingstar.
Sparklingpaw bounced on his paws. "It's starting soon!" He whispered excitedly to his fellow apprentices, quickly picking up his flowers to scatter. Practically trembling with excitement.
Viridianpaw rolled his eyes and looked towards Giantpaw, shaking his head as he looked at Sparklingpaw. You'd think it was his wedding with how excited he was. cookie

Duskwing poked her head out from behind a shrub ready to bring out Beetleflight on Flamingstar's cue. She turned back to make sure her son was perfect Beetleflight flushing and trying to avoid tapping his claws on the ground anxiously.
"That's our cue." Duskwing purred. "Spiderfang will bring up the rear and once you're up by Flamingstar we'll move off to our spots by the side." She told Beetleflight gently. They'd decided that their little family would all go up together and stand nearby in a silent show of support.
And to help keep Beetleflight's anxiety from overwhelming him.
Beetleflight nodded, taking in a breath and letting it out. "I'm ready." He said.
The two of them stepped out, Beetleflight moving at a slow pace to accommodate for his mother's missing hind leg. But Duskwing carried herself so well without it, the she cat's purr reverberating through her throat as they made their way to the front.
Beetleflight had to struggle not to duck his head under the gazes of all his clanmates. Though fortunately all of them were looking supportive, and he saw a few nods of approval from some of his friends.
Finally he came to a stop before Flamingstar. He turned to his mother who touched her nose to his forehead, a sign of her giving him away to be married, before she stepped aside with Spiderfang.
Duskwing sat down and tried to blink back the tears pricking her eyes. She couldn't start crying before the ceremony had even begun! But she was just so happy.
///---///
"All right that's our cue," Squirrelleap meowed turning to the apprentices and giving them a nod.
Sparklingpaw was the first one to move forwards the ginger apprentice practically bouncing down the aisle scattering his flowers and leaves as he went.
Viridianpaw huffed, but followed after him, scattering his a bit less enthusiastically but doing his best to keep his annoyance out of his face. This was a good chance for him to be practicing his poker face after all.
"We're almost on," Stealthclaw meowed putting the last minute touches on Echomelody, making sure everything was perfect. As she stepped back the tough gray she cat found herself tearing up. "Oh, I can't believe this, my little girl about to get married and give me grand kits!" She said sniffling. "Oh no, I can't be doing this so early." She said quickly lifting a paw to wipe away the tears. "But I'm so darn happy for you."
Giantpaw was grateful to release petals from his flower. It would keep the sneeze at bay. He briefly wondered what it would be like when he was older and found a NightClan cat to fall in love with, but stopped thinking about it when he caught Viridianpaw's eyes. His friend did not look thrilled to be participating, not like Sparklingpaw, but this was an important day for NightClan nonetheless. Giantpaw tried to smile reassuringly at his friend. They could go harass some other apprentices after the ceremony.
He finished with his flowers, turning to look for Echomelody's appearance.
Viridianpaw caught Giantpaw's smile and let out a sigh, before offering him a slight one nudging his side. As long as he had Giantpaw with him, things could never be too bad.
They'd go find some trouble to cause after this was done.
Echomelody began to tear up herself. "Oh, mom, your going to make me cry before my wedding!" She came closer to Stealthclaw and wrapped one paw around her, giving her a hug and burying her muzzle into her mother's fur. After a moment, she pulled away and nodded. "I'm ready."
She turned and began to head in the direction of the ceremony, walking slowly so that her mother could keep up in step with her but also so she didn't look rushed. At last, she stood at the end of the isle, all eyes turned on her. She wanted to hide away from the gazes but she knew she had to face them. Instead, she stood taller, acknowledging all of the approving glances. Even Flamingstar seemed pleased. This was it. She was marrying her best friend. The one who had saved her life many years ago when they were only apprentices.
She began to ascend down the isle beside her mother, looking more beautiful than ever. Each flower complimenting her appearance, her fur well groomed and glossy. The light of the moon and the reflecting crystals gave her the most elegant glow. She looked stunning, her green eyes sparkling. Finally, she made it to the end of the isle, stopping beside Beetlefight.
