The sun was just hitting its peak as the thickly furred chocolate brown, emerald eyed she-cat crossed into SunClan territory. It had been several moons since she had last been here and met her brothers kits. All was well when she had departed once more to find her place in the forest. She had her father, Leatherstar’s, wondering spirit. That desperate need to keep moving. To solve the worlds problems. To be a part of everything. When word reached her ears that her mother, now Littlecrow apparently, had been dethroned and imprisoned along sided her brother Lionpride. Fury Welled up in her chest. What cat would be foolish enough to willing place themselves on the bad side of Littlestar? Unlike her brother who gained many of their parents softer attributes, Fernskip had the fury of the sun and the ice of a blizzard in her blood. She always caught for what she felt was right and was coy about her dealings with others. She knew better than to tramps in and demand their release lest she be thrown into the prison herself. What good would she do anyone then? No, returning home meant playing the part of a warrior returning home after a long travel. It meant playing clan mate. She would find a way to free her family or join those in secret who wished it. But until then she would learn her enemy and take care of her family. Half way through the territory she was surprised no one had confronted her yet.
Goldengrace was out hunting when a familiar scent hit her nose, the she cat's eyes widened, and she hastily made her way towards her half sister. She didn't know if Fernskip was aware of all that had gone down but she wanted to make sure her sister was warned.
"Fernskip!" She meowed when she came up to her sister. Tears pricking her eyes despite herself. "What brings you back to SunClan?" She asked, one ear twitching towards their surroundings listening for any signs of trouble coming.

Fernskip has unknowingly tensed when she caught sight of fur but quickly relaxed when she realized who the fur belonged to. “Greetings Goldengrace.” She meowed dipping her head with a delighted purr. She had not had a lot of interaction with her younger half siblings since they were born. She was a warrior already by then. Their age difference making her a seasoned warrior in comparison. She still, nonetheless, enjoyed seeing them when she was around. “I came for a sort of family reunion.” She meowed trying time make her words innocent. For her own good and Goldengrace’ In case someone she missed happened to be close enough to prick an ear and listen. “My paws are getting weary from travel. I figured a few moons or settling down all together was in order. WinterClan is in good paws and has outgrown me.” She meowed referring to her fathers clan and the clan she turned down the chance to lead.

Hearing the familiar voice, Silverfringe quietly excused herself from the patrol she had been on, telling them that her stomach was to upset to continue on and that she needed to head back to camp. At first they protested, but she insisted that she would be fine and that she would get Goldengrace to escort her back to camp that she could her her talking not far from there.Satisfied she waited until they left, before heading their way. She emerged from her undergrowth, her belly swollen with kits "Well aren't you a sight for sore eyes!" she purred in greeting, only hearing the last past of their conversation "So are you back for good this time?I hope so, we may need you to talk some sense into Lionpride at this rate"

Another familiar voice graced her ears before here eyes spotted Silverfringe. “Well that all depends on how well I am welcomed. I hear my ... kind may not be so easily accepted these days.” She meowed in response sipping her head in another soft greeting. “What has my brother gotten himself into now?” She asked as if she hadn’t come fully aware that he was in prison along with their mother and step father. She smiled at Silverfringes swollen belly. With all her traveling relationships and lots had not once crossed her mind. She couldn’t imagine herself a mother. “Congratulations by the way.”
