Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The smell of freshly fallen rain and newly formed puddles of mud wafted into the warriors den and swirled around the sleeping form of Silentportrait, it tickled his nose rousing him from his slumber. His eyes fluttered open to reveal blue depths and he lifted his head taking in a deep breath. "It rained." He whispered excitedly, his eyes lighting up as he pushed himself to stand and walk to the exit of the den. Soft sunlight was beaming down into camp from between the recently emptied clouds. Silentportrait scanned over the clearing once and stepped into the open, his eyes now locked on one of the many muddy spots that where scattered throughout camp.
It wasn't hard to figure out what he was doing, most of the clan had quickly become aware of his passion after he joined. He was an artist. One of his many tools for creating his pieces being mud. As he stepped up to the murky brown puddle and without a moments thought, the pure white coated tom began to dig, his fur effectively taking on the earthly color as he scooped out globs of sticky brown dirt and set them to the side.

Vixenpaw walked out of the apprentice den, quickly stretching her limbs and letting out a soft purr at the feeling of relief that coursed through her legs after having slept so long. She twitched her whiskers before she gave her paws a quick shake to get rid of the clumps of mud that stuck to the pads of her paws. The russet-colored apprentice glanced over to the warrior's den and tilted her head at the odd sight. What was that warrior doing over there? Playing in the mud like an excited kit.. come to think of it was this the tom cat that the other apprentices were talking about? They had mentioned something of the like while they listened to the rain pour down outside of their den. The young apprentice flicked her ears as she watched, curious to see what this warrior was planning on doing with all the mud he was digging up.

Smoketwirl slipped out of the warrior’s den with a large yawn escaping her jaws. The older warrior let her pale eyes scan the clearing for a moment before landing on Silentportrait. Her face cracked into a smile and she moved closer, watching the tom dig into the mud. Vaguely, the she-cat wondered what sculpture he would be creating today. The tom always got so excited after it rain, because he had am endless supply of mud to create with. Smoketwirl did not mind his sculptures every now and then as some where really pretty. The black colored warrior debated on whether going over to join him, but decided to wait it out and see what he would create.
Unaware of his growing audience Silentportrait continued to collect the mud until his pile was of a decent size, he looked at his collection with a pleased smile and set to work on the next step. Running his paws over the mound he began to slowly change the shape, scraping excess mud from around the bottom until it took on a column appearance and moving his sight to the glob that now sat atop it. His focus was intense, blue eyes shimmering as the sticky mess that had sat before him moments ago was changing, he lifted a paw and rubbed it across his cheek leaving a streak of brown, either unaware or uncaring of how dirty he was becoming.
He could see it already, what it would become, it was clear as day in his mind as he flattened and curved the mud; adjusting pieces here and there until at last it was reality. It took him quite some time, but when he stepped back to look at his work he gave a satisfied nod. It was a little rough around the edges but for the most part the sculpture could be identified as a butterfly, or maybe a very strange bird. "Now to let it dry a little." He commented to himself as he sat down and looked it over, once it was partially dried he would be able to add little details that the wet mud didn't allow.

“Oh wow...” Vixenpaw muttered, in total awe of the creation the warrior had made. The russet pelted apprentice slowly moved closer. She didn’t want to spook the warrior and risk ruining his creation. She sat at a distance, but close enough now that she could get a better view of what he was doing. The apprentice had so many questions. How did he do it? When did he learn? Was he always able to make such creations? Vixenpaw didn’t dare voice her questions. She didn’t want to distract him from his work
Silentportrait looked at his creation for a moment longer and then turned his head, his blue eyes catching sight of Smoketwirl before they landed on Vixenpaw. He was almost certain both clanmates were watching him and a nervous chuckle slipped out. "Do you wanna come closer?" The question was mostly directed toward the apprentice as he knew Smoketwirl would approach if she felt like it. "I'm not finished yet, I have to wait for it to dry a little before I can do anything else."
