Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"I am sure you have been wondering how we will be able to welcome Initiates as full members of the Clan in the absence of the Sun God. After all, he is the only one able to look into your hearts and determine if your intentions are honest and true," Bloodystar stood near the edge of a cliff, so steep that it was impossible to see what was below it unless you leaned over the edge and looked, and, even then, the bottom was hard to make out. Full members of the Clan would know that at the bottom of the cliff was a deep pool of water, but the initiates would not, and that was the point, "King's Bane, step forward. You have proven yourself worthy of being a full member of SunClan after your many moons of service; now you must seal the deal and prove that your heart free of any darkness. Take a Leap of Faith over the edge and prove your devotion once and for all. You have nothing to fear should your heart be pure."
The cats gathered around were few; just Bloodystar and all of the current Janus. That being said, there were enough of them to form a half-circle around King's Bane. Should he try to run there would be no escape.
The large tabby stepped towards the edge with ease, there was no fear or concern in his movements. He at least was polite enough to wait for the new High Priest to finish talking before he dived head first into the abyss without a second thought. The way he saw it, if SunClan wanted the initiates to pass they wouldn't give them an impossible task. However, if he was wrong and had just jumped head first right into his death then what did it matter to him? He would be dead.
Ruinedportrait watched, slightly taken back as the cat did exactly as he brother instructed without any hesitation, and all she could do was blink in surprise. Either the tom had a deeper devotion to the Sun God than he ever showed, or he had a death with. She wasn't sure which, but even knowing that he would be caught by the pool below, she felt her blood run cold and fought to keep the fur along her spine from rising as a chill ran down her back.
Bloodystar had not expected such an instant response from King's Bane. He hadn't interacted with the tom much so it was hard to judge his loyalty. Had he made the test too easy? As he peered over the abyss at the small pool of water belong, however, even he felt the need to immediately step back. No, this leap was terrifying. It seemed the newest member of SunClan really as as devoted as he hoped all of the other Initiates would prove to be.
"From this day forward, King's Bane will be known as Hemlockshadow!" His voice boomed, carrying all the way down to the cats assembled by the pool. The Clan erupted into applause as they were showered with droplets from the splash that soon followed.
"Way to go," Wolfconstellation said totally unenthused, his fur had gotten particularly drenched and it was going to be a mega pain to get it dry again. Thank goodness he would never have to jump.

Sorbetpeony waited at the bottom of the pool, but unlike her brother she was exstatic at the water reached her. Jumping up on her hind legs and batting at the water droplets as they showered down upon her "Oh is this fun WOLFCONSTELATION!!!" she cheered rubbing up and down along her brothers side only searcing to make him more wet
