Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Polarice wasn't excited to be pampered and then killed. She knew it was her duty, to die for the safty of her clan, but that didn't mean she had to like it. She'd worked to hard to become the best. It made her feel conflicted. To know she wouldn't die fighting -- which is something that brings her joy. She decided she'd prefer to be hunting instead of just chilling in the camp, so she left and went out to hunt for herself and her clan.

"You aren't supposed to be out and about." Leatherstar said as he came up behind her on her hunting patrol. He had noticed Polarice's blue mood since she had been chosen by Vegard to be his martyr. "How are you holding up?" he asked softly.
While the appearance of the leader startled her, Polarice didn't show it. She hadn't even caught a whiff of prey, althought she'd only just started looking. She didn't want to stop and talk to Leatherstar, but she figured since he was just asking how she was, that it wouldn't hurt to humor him. She turned to face him, though she wouldn't apologize for doing what she'd been trained to do: fight, hunt, defend. Even if she'd known there was always a chance for her to be chosen as one of WinterClan's maryrs.
She let out a sigh as she tried to decide what to say, "As well as can be expected." she mewed with a forced half smile.

“Being as you would rather get your own prey than have it brought to you I’m going to assume that means not good at all” he meowed with an apologetic half smile. He hasn’t known what the ancient would bring to them as far as expectations when he chose to follow them and believe in their promises to protect them from the white cats. “I’m sorry you have such a burden to bear but I also thank you”
