His kits skirted around his paws, and Nereus kept lifting up his paws. They were all over him, and while he didn't have the heart to tell them to leave him alone, they somehow kept surprising him even though he knew they were there. When one jumped on his tail, he stood up. And another bonked itself against his torso, which made him slowly back up. His back paw caught on something and he fell over, only to be pinned down against the ground by one.
