Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
I decided I wanted to make the start more interesting. I'm gonna begin with two of my characters and have them go their separate ways at the end. Reply to which one sounds more interesting! Azura hissed in pain as she was sent sprawling on the ground. The tabby drew in another trembling breath as she pushed herself to her paws. Ghazen stood just mere feet from her with a confident gaze in his eyes, the same one he wore back in Absum Lux when she was thrown around as a kit. Both initiates found themselves in the training hollow after their lessons for the day, so the pair began to spar. It evolved into a more brutal contest, as any spar would when one participant was once an oppressor of the other. Azura's grapples and blows had become more ferocious, and he responded in turn. Now it was the last straw. Another growl rose from deep within her throat as she lashed out again, this time with her claws unsheathed.
Despite his attempt to dodge them, Azura's claws ripped through the tom's foreleg like butter and shadowy blood immediately began to ooze from the fresh wound. The black tom did not expect her to strike with her claws extended, but he was happy to return the favor. His claws rose from their sheathes as he parried each of the younger she-cat's strikes. Blows tore through he shoulders, but it was nothing he could not handle. Soon enough, Azura went for a take-down, and it was all the tom needed to see. As she slammed her weight into him, he rolled himself onto her back and sliced across the back of her neck.
It ended her. She froze up as her scar was reopened for a third time. Her body went numb. A single tear rolled down her cheek as she crumpled to the ground with claws still raining down on her.
Ghazen came to stop once he realized he had beaten her to the ground. He flicked one of his ears and shrugged. He knew that didn't inflict anything too dangerous. She was just overreacting. He simply turned around and walked out of the hollow, leaving a beaten and broken she-cat behind. Your pick between Ghazen and Azura (or both)!
"God damn, I wanna follow that guy," Lucistic said.
He hadn't been there before, or at least he hadn't shown himself before? He was sitting there like he had been there the whole time as he came up to Azura, "But family sticks together and all that," He said, thinking outloud as he lifted paw up before dropping it to test if she was truly out. Azura had been his adopted sister for much longer than the other adoptees that Glowstar brought in. She was powerful for a non elemental, but she was much more serious than the rest of the family, that was for sure.
Her large brother lied next to her tentatively licking her wounds clean. He had never shown any interest in her before, largely because he had lived in Primal Instinct more than DayClan. Now things had changed, he was getting leashed up in the ForestClan's much more.
She knew Lucistic was part of her family, but she had never really seen him beyond the occasional Eerie gathering. His time in the city was enough for Azura to avoid him. Too many bad memories lived there. Even though the time of Absum Lux had long since past, its ghost still haunted the city. The last time she went there Azura backed out on the outskirts. She knew that she had to be over it by now, but nothing made those feeling go away.
Azura pulled away from Leucistic when she felt him start to clean her wounds. "Hey, I can do this myself. Go bother someone else." She looked over her body for the first time and realized how beat up she was. Small lacerations laced around her torso and forelegs. Thankfully, she could feel few on her face and head. "Just... leave me alone."
"I literally have no one better to annoy, plus if I go after that guy I'll get knocked up so good I'll probably sleep the rest of the day away. And for as nice as that would be I should probably do something better with my day." He said as he leaned into her side as though she were a pillow he could comfortably enjoy. What he would give to get thrown around like she had, really roughed up, given a good beating, before getting completely demolished. Now that was the kind of evening he would give anything for!
But Azura was his little sister and he was kind of entitled to make sure she was alright, even though she clearly was. "Hey do you always lose that badly or was it on purpose? Do you like pain too?"
No one better to annoy? She rolled her eyes. He just didn't want to leave her alone. Weird guy. If he wasn't family she'd think he was someone like Romancefable. She couldn't handle another guy like him. As she was lost in that thought, she didn't realize the tom walk around and lean on her, so she yelped a little bit when his weight landed on her. What bothered her more was the questions that followed "No, I don't always lose that badly and I don't like pain. I don't know what came over me, but he hit something and I just froze up." She sighed and cut the sandstone beneath her with one her claws. "I know I can beat Ghazen. He just... I don't know."
"Oh... Hey, maybe you just need your chakra realigned! In Primal Instinct there's a spa people go to in order to get their chakras lined back up. All of the spa treatments help in battle and the chakra one is their best treatment," Lucistic explained, "If you got the chakra treatment maybe it would help take off the stress from that area and won't have as much of a weak spot. Although personally I'd prefer the pain."
She rolled her eyes. He was weirder than he looked, but that was the Eerie family in a nutshell. "Look, maybe I'll think about it, but what the heck is a chakra? Is that some weird Sun God thing I haven't heard about yet? If it is then no way." Then there was the other part that it was in the League. She knew part of the League's territory was out of the city, but it was still too close for her.
"Uh, no, not everything is about Sun God, you cultist," He teased, as he leaned his head back against hers before fully rolling off, "It's this thing inside you that holds your soul together. There are many different types of chakras, but maybe one is out of line, they can get that way from something traumatic whether it's physically or mentally. So maybe it's just your chakra that has to recover, it's worth a try and you can take a relaxing break from being in SunClan for a few hours. I'm just visiting so I don't want to be rude and just kidnap you when I was invited so I do have to bring you back."
She lashed and slapped him across the face. "Don't you even think about calling me one of them. I'm no brainwashed mouse!" She was seething, and all this talk about chakras didn't do anything to help. "Sounds like a bunch of garbage, no thanks. I'll figure whatever it is out." Azura couldn't convince herself of it completely. "I'm done with being kidnapped. I've been through it twice, and I'd rather it not happen again, thanks."
"Alright, but anyone with that much rage at a comment from me of all people has some underlying issues," Lucistic pointed out, but nodded along with her, "Yeah I've been kidnapped once before, but it was like daycare. I guess that's why I'm not foaming at the mouth like you are."
"Well, maybe I do have some problems. It's what happens when some fleabag takes away everything." She still hadn't forgiven Bloodyrondo for saving her life, and with all that he had done as the High Priest, it didn't look like she would anytime soon. "Your just... so... why would you enjoy being kidnapped? Like, why?"
"I don't know," Lucistic said, looking a bit bothered by her question before putting more thought into it, "As a kit I guess I just had to take a look at my new life and ask myself if this was going to be my life or my hell. I could suffer, be traumatized, but keep my sanity and humanity in tact. But I'd also lose things like hope and my ability to feel emotions properly. I don't know, sanity and humanity is all overrated," He smirked, "So torture turned into fun and I tried to have a positive attitude towards everything because at the end of the day all you can control is yourself. Plus Toxicity was a riot with all the drama so how could I not live a little?"

"Hmpf. Toxicity, huh? I grew up in Absum Lux. I know what it was like, and I heard plenty of stories. Absum Lux was pretty bad, but Toxicity was just cruel. That guy who just beat me up was from Toxicity too." She sighed as she watched the shape of the black tom disappear over the horizon. "He took to it better than me." She was just uncomfortable with his answer. It just... didn't work for her. Pain was pain. She learned to bear it, but she could never imagine enjoying it. "How can you find torture fun? It's sick."
"I mean don't get me wrong, sometimes it's not fun and you can tell it's going to be a messy job. Like I personally I love to take it slow, feel the sting of claws, maybe some bloodletting to feel my warm blood against my fur. I also like it rough, like getting swiped my claws multiple times just makes my heart roar. I'm not a fan of getting majorly beat up, not that I dislike it, it's just not my favorite, but I can get into it. Usually it's more fun at the end lying beaten up. You just feel so heavy, it feels like a hug, I never feel more of my body than in those moments," Lucistic enthused, his gaze glossed over as he dreamt of it in his mind before snapping out of his imagination, "But all of that hardly ever happens, I'm so big in size, I'm the strongest in DayClan next to Senescence. No one wants to mess with me," Lucistic complained, "Which is why I was SO tempted to follow after that big guy cause he looks like he would beat me up if I asked."
He looked at her, "Why? Don't we all feel pain the same way, what does pain feel like to you?"

This guy was really quite something. All this stuff about pain blew her mind. Even if he was alive in Toxicity's most cruel era, how could he enjoy it? It went against everything that she thought nature stood for. Everyone and everything avoided pain, and this tom actively sought it out. She sighed at the mention of the tom. "You can probably still ask him." She unsheathed her claws, and the blood on them glimmered black in the sunlight. She hadn't noticed it before, but it did explain a bit. "For me, pain is pain. I can't place it or compare it to anything else. It just is. Some pain is worse than other pains. Like getting cut over a scar is far worse than not. It's just pain to me."
Lucistic nodded, "Sorry, I can't understand the pain even though I've felt it," he said, his gaze staring into hers as he tried to think, "So like, want to do something? We could train or make gross concoctions and then play never have I ever and when someone has done something they have to drink it."
