Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
“The light of day must drive out the lost thieves before the wandering eyes return."
Somewhere all the way in SunClan Azura could hear the voice in her head as she slept, but awoke to a normal morning. Nikkohydrangea was standing over her nest when she woke up. Really he was trying to be respectful and let her sleep in, but instead was just coming off creepy for how close he was standing near her. They were supposed to go out hunting today, or more accurately he was, but he didn't feel like doing it by himself, having Azura as backup seemed best.
Back in DayClan Autumngossamer waved her tail dismissively, "That's it," she said as she finished stating the prophecy to Smolderingcomet and Cinnamonsavage. "I'm not responsible for any injuries, psychological damage, death, or destruction that may come along with this journey. I'm just stating what StarClan wants since apparently we're not making Brakewing's get rid of his pet demon and I'm left picking up the slack. My best advice to you boys is to ignore it, but hey, maybe heavens angels aren't as corrupt as the false prophet back in SunClan."
"Prophecy or not I expect you two to still attend this patrol," Fuzzyheart said to the two toms.
Cinnamonsavage scoffed to cover up the discomfort he felt from the strange and if he was being honest, rather disturbing imagery he'd glimpsed. "Well I see StarClan likes to be as vague as ever," He huffed straightening up. "Really, the afterlife must be so dull if they need to spend so much time speaking in riddles and vague imagery rather than just getting to the point."
He took a moment to tidy up his fur and then turned to Smolderingcomet, "Well, shall we get this show on the road before Fuzzy over there blows a gasket?" He drawled, tail flicking behind him as he rose to his paws. He doubted StarClan would ever pay him much mind, and it irked him that when they did they couldn't just simply state it plainly.
She didn't understand. Her dreams were never like this. She stood back in the middle of DayClan's territory. All of the old faces were still there: Glowstar, Windchaser, and, unfortunately, Brakewings, but they were all starving. They Clan as a whole was on the verge of death. She then saw roots start to appear from the soil beneath these cats. They curled around them in a cruel embrace as her former clanmate's forms further deteriorated. Their sickly bodies stared back at her, and then she woke from her sleep.
Her eyes flew open to see a pair of paws right in front of her face. Azura immediately assumed the worst. Since Bloodyrondo's takeover she hadn't been at all supportive, so she thought the tom was here to drag her off to prison. That wasn't gonna happen. She hissed and lashed out at him with one of her fore paws, claws unsheathed, as she kicked her hind legs towards his stomach.

It wasn't like Smolderingcomet to refuse an adventure, even if he found the threat from his dad unnecessary. He looked around between the three before stretching. It did seem like a load of nothing, not that he cared for Starclan one way or the other. "You'd think they'd have better things to do, but we may as well knock it out." Smolderingcomet rose to his paws as well, though his mind was already turning. The light of day could easily be referring to them. But who are the lost thieves and the wandering eyes?
Fuzzyheart beckoned the toms over, but nuzzled the side of his sons face before moving forward, "I actually got a prophecy too and let me tell you they're a piece of work, I hope I don't get one again," He said with a tired yawn. "Anyways, we're going to Golden Pastures to the farm area. A hunting patrol went through there earlier and reported weird scents that weren't really rogue, but they weren't clan cat either so we're investigating if a cats taking shelter around there."
Nikkohydrangea gasped as he fell onto his back coughing for air, "Holy suns, fine, you can sleep in a bit longer, but if you are so am I," He wheezed, carrying himself over to some random cats empty nest and lying himself down. He had heard from other toms that Azura was difficult, but he didn't think her stubbornness extended to her lashing out at any cat who woke her up. He coughed a few more times, he had been having trouble breathing lately as is. Not that it was a mystery as to why, he was a WinterClan cat and with the blazing sun he was beginning to get over heated extremely easily.
Cinnamonsavage chuckled. "Well if it is some cats taking shelter, we'll find out if they've got ill intent very quickly." He said tail flicking behind him. The tom moving ahead of the others to take the lead.

Smolderingcomet nuzzled his father back, grateful he bent down to reach him than Smoldering having to jump up on his back paws like he was used to. "Yeah, but hopefully it's not too many, 'specially since it's only the three of us. I really don't need my pelt torn apart again." The young ginger tom laughed, letting Cinnamonsavage take the lead as he fell into step with Fuzzyheart. "How did your prophecy go anyway? I didn't even know you had one." His eyes widened in faux surprise, expressive as ever.

"Uhhhhhh."
Smolderingcomet seemingly broke his father as he tried to think of the best way to phrase it, "StarClan's forsaken us apparently. I mean kind of, we may have been talking to the wrong cat. Ultimately we did not have good diplomatic debate skills," Fuzzyheart admitted, but kept the stern expression on his face to avoid portraying any hint of remorse. As they arrived on the golden pastures he took a few glances around, "Weird, I don't see anything amiss."
Right as he said that movement could be seen closer to the barn, a calico kittypet was perched on top of a large tractor wheel, staring them down.

(My bad!)
She shook her head as she realized who it was, and that he was definitely not going to take her away. Damn it. It was fun though. "No, I'm fine we can go. Just... don't wake me up like that ever again. Got it? Good." She walked out of the initiate's den without checking to see if the tom followed. She wanted to just stay in and sleep, but the day was only going to get hotter and just worse.

"Ah, I see." Smolderingcomet said, despite having no clue what his father was talking about. Why would starclan just up and forsake them like that though? It wasn't like anything had changed recently. Did they really care that much about the wedding? He let go of the topic as soon as he had a good enough answer, following along with the group till they hit the farm. He stood up on his hind legs to try and look over the fields, just barely spotting the cat on the tractor. "Hey, have you seen anyone else around here lately?" Smolderingcomet yelled, almost losing his balance.
The kittypets ears flattened at how loud the other cat was being, "What do I get out of saying anything?" She asked, wrinkling her nose.
"You could not get shoved into the motor of that tractor by two impatient toms," Fuzzyheart said helpfully with a cold expression.
"Yuh huh, okay big guy. How about this, I'm hungry, go fetch me something like ummm. Oh! A mouse, that would be really good and it'll jog my memory," She said with a teasing smile.
Nikkohydrangea watched Azura shove past him as he followed after her. "Know how to get to the DayClan border?" He asked, but if she looked back at him she could tell he was intentionally giving her a tough time just to tease her. He knew she came from DayClan and knew where it was at without his help. The blue gray tom didn't try to stay at Azura's brisk pace, instead opting to saunter along. As they neared the border he piped back up again, "We need to steal prey without any DayClan cats noticing, there's not enough prey in SunClan," He explained before rolling around in the flowers to cover his scent, "Can you handle that?"
She narrowed her eyes. "I could handle it, but there's no way I'm stealing from them. In fact," She walked past him until she was standing on the other side. "I'm not going to let you steal from them." While an initiate, the she-cat's heart still lived on in DayClan. Part of her wanted to make a break for it, but it simply wasn't time with Nikko right there. "We can go to NightClan or MoonClan and I'll steal from them, but I'll never steal from my people."
