Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
A moon ago, Timesquandor would never have sided with a cat like Bloodyrhondo. But times had changed, and he actually approved of the High Priest's actions. His mother Foxbane had been a plague upon the clan for a long time and he was pleased to finally see someone punish her. She had gotten away with too much; it was time they rid the clan of her poor influence.
High noon, and he was prancing into camp with a squirrel in his jaws. He laid it down carefully onto the prey pile and stepped back. "My hunt was blessed today," he declared happily. Was it the Sun God's influence, his approval of their new leader, from wherever he had been reborn?

Jetfire
SunClan Warrior
The Sweet
"May his good fortune continue to shine on you" came the meek and robotic reply. Jetfire laid near the fresh kill pile, letting the sun's warmth soak into her short pelt. She had not been herself since the day her mother had been imprisoned, and this was the latest of Bloodyrondo's remedies to get her back to her old self. In SunClan it was believed that sometimes the best medicine was simply to soak in the sun's rays and relax for a while... Not that she could relax to long, her siblings still needed to be fed, and her ever swelling stomach made laying for any length of time more and more difficult
“And on you.” Timesquandor smiled at her. It was brave of Jetfire to go against her mother and stay out of prison - just like he has when Foxbane was exiled. “How are the kittens? How old are they now?” He hadn’t kept good track of her siblings to know for sure. Perhaps he should have, but it was too late now.

“Two and a half moons...” her words were short and sweet, she blinked that number sinking in... would her siblings grow up believing the lies Bloodyrondo spun them each night before they closed their eyes to sleep? Would they even remember their mother for the she-cat she truly was, not this monster he made her out to be... How she longed to tell them just how wrong her was, to whisk them away safely out of his influence
“That’s a good age. They must be excited about being apprentices soon.” He smiled a little. He honestly wasn’t good with kit ages - were they walking by then? Could they be half grown? - but it was always safe to assume they were at a good age.

"Yes, they are becoming a bit of a paw-ful" she admitted, but a large part of that was because of Bloodyrondo's insane standards for them. Their pelts having to remain perfectly groomed, their painted designs never smudged, and always on their best behavior "They are to young to train, but enjoy the stories about the Sun God"
"Ah." Timesquandor's perfect smile faltered a little. He might be loyal to his clan, but after the revelations at the gathering, he couldn't stand by the Sun God anymore. Things might be different when He came again, but right now he couldn't fathom supporting such a criminal. "I suppose stories will have to do, since they can't meet the cat himself. A shame."

Honestly she wasn't sure how to feel about it all, but she had other things to worry about. If the worst Bloodyrondo did to her siblings was telling them stories about the Sun God she would be grateful... After all looking at how he had disgraced her mother, imprisoned most of her family, and treated Foxbane had her grateful that at least she was able to be there for her younger siblings "Yes a shame, but he will return" the words were so ingrained in her that they came tumbling out of her mouth automatically
"Of course, if he doesn't get his powers back until he's learned his lesson, we might not see him for a very long time. The Sun God was also a stubborn cat," he mused. Timesquandor didn't know the tom well, but anyone could have seen the arrogant god would be slow to change. "We'll have to make do without in the mean time."
