Littlestar closed her eyes, the poppy seeds and other herbs she had been given for pain starting to take affect as sleep took hold of her mind. She drifted aimlessly through the darkness, until the eternalflame appeared to her. She went to it willingly, throwing herself to the flames as it engulfed her form.
Then she was in the chamber, the stone steps stretching out in front of her, the darkness of the tunnels looming overheard. As she walked past, the Guardian of the Flame dipped downwards in respect as did each of the cat's she passed as she made her way to the tunnels.
She emerged on the other side, steam rising into the air as the water below bubbled and swirled. Littlestar lowered her exhausted body into the warm water, until only her head was left unsubmerged. She rest her head gently on the moss covered rocks, her eyes slowly closing.
It hadn't stopped being weird to be called Resilientbloom when her fur was still maintaining some of its kit fluff. It hadn't stopped sucking that she had to stay in the janus camp away from her siblings once she no longer needed Jetfire's milk.
It felt lonely. And though some of them had supposedly been janus when they were tiny, Resilientbloom felt particularly small among them.
The only benefit of becoming a janus so far had been gaining access to the ancient janus's lands when she fell asleep.
She didn't hesitate before jumping into the eternal flame when she came up to it. She let out a breath of relief, so far she hadn't run into the 'High Priest' in this place and she'd managed to avoid the other janus.
She took a moment to sit down and just, take a moment to be by herself. Without anyone trying to tell her something, without feeling overwhelmed with a duty she couldn't perform, and she found tears welling up in her eyes. She looked up at the Guardian of the Flame. "I want my momma... do you have anything that can help me?" She asked sniffling.
It wasn't knowledge, but maybe the Guardian had something that could make her feel a little better. It wouldnt' be her momma, but she just needed something.

The guardian of the flame looked down at the terribly young kit, even for SunClan standards she was far younger than most that ventured here. He was supposed to remain neutral and out of the conflicts of the living, but giving the young cat a gentle nudge in the right direction wasn't interfearing with any clan politics directly. He laid down, the ground shaking under his weight. The little white fluffy kit might as well have been a tuft of loose fur in comparison "Perhaps a warm bath would help soothe your worried mind" he pointed towards one of the tunnels with his tail
Resilientbloom sniffled, her ears pricking up at his words. A warm bath. That did sound nice.
She looked up at the guardian with teary eyes and nodded her head. "Okay," She said in a shaky voice. She followed the direction he'd pointed towards and began heading down the tunnel.
She could feel the heat radiating from the place and the air was filled with steam, and she let out a soft sigh.
Then she heard slight lapping of water up ahead and she quickened her pace, her small paws barely making a sound as she ran towards the room.
When she entered the room she let out a gasp as she took it in. She stopped for a moment her little head craning about as she tried to take it all in. "Wow," She squeaked.

Littlestar had fully relaxed into the warm water, but at the sound of the small voice she lifted her head causing the water to splash upwards. Her ear's flicked forward, but then she heard it again "Resilientkit?" she called, her voice soft. She almost believe that she was imagining it, wanting her children to be at her side so badly that she was starting to hallucinate their voices.
She rose up part way out of the water, droplets slowly sliding down the long length of her fur and plopping audibly into the water below as the small she-kit came into view "Resilientkit?" she repeated in disbelief. Her daughter couldn't be here... Could she?
"Momma?" Resilientbloom squeaked turning her head towards Littlestar, her eyes widened when she saw her. "Momma!" She cried running towards her mother, slipping on the slick ground once and landing with her paws splayed out, letting out a soft "Oof!" Then she scrambled to recover her paws.

Littlestar gasped, moving out of the water rushing towards her daughter until she was able to scoop her up and cradle her kit to her chest in a warm embrace as she leaned back onto her back. She licked at her cheeks hurriedly as her paws searched her body for injuries "Momma's so happy to see you!!" she chirped nuzzling against her neck then pressing her nose to her daughter's forehead "I have been so worried, Are you ok? Are they treating you? Are you getting enough to eat?"
Resilientbloom nuzzled into her sniffling. "I missed you so much momma! They wouldn't let me see you! Or Poppa!" She cried burying her face into her mother's fur. "But I'm okay, I'm not hurt, I'm a janus now." She said, "And it's really hard. I feel so tiny compared to everyone! And I can't be with the others!"

Littlestar rasped her tongue of her daughter's face as she listened, letting her daughter do most of the talking. At least she seemed ok, and she was now a janus. At least that explained how she had ended up here "I know it's hard baby, but you have to be strong for me and poppa" she licked away her daughter's tears as soon as they would appear "You are momma's brave little girl" she looked into her eyes "You may be small, but you are strong"
"Like you momma?" Resilientbloom asked blinking her watery eyes as she lifted her head to look at her mother. As best as she could with Littlestar licking her furiously and affectionately. Already her heart warmed with the love and affection that she'd been missing since Bloodyrondo ripped her and her siblings from their poppa.

"Yes Resilientbloom, just like momma" she purred warmly stopping her grooming for a moment just to gaze onto her daughter's face. The white she-cat's brilliant blue eyes reminding her of Satinlight's, sending a pang of sadness through her heart. Was she going to loose Resilientbloom to Bloodyrondo to? "Momma is very proud of you, and no matter what happens I want you to know that me and poppa love you very much" she pressed her nose to her daughter's closing her eyes, just so happy that she could be with at least one of her kits even if it was just in her dreams.
Resilientbloom blinked but she closed her eyes as well enjoying the closeness to her mother. "I know, Poppa said that before Bloodyrondo yanked us away... well Bloodystar now." She said huffing. "But he doesn't act like a very nice leader, I've heard Sorrowfularia talk about how he's going to pair up my big sisters with his loyalists. And Jetfire doesn't look happy, she was sad when she fed me and the others."

Littlestar had to nearly bite her tongue, anger rising deep within her. So that was his plan, pair them off with cats he though loyal to him. But she took in a deep breathe, not wanting Resilientbloom to worry to much "He is not very nice" she agreed nuzzling up against her cheek "but for now you need to listen to him so that you can stay safe... Momma is going to do her best to come back to you and your sisters as soon as I can"
