Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. It had been a day since Passionpaw and Amberbird escaped from the dog. That had been the most thrilling, most terrifying experience of his life. After he left the medicine cat, he had faced the dog down and screeched and clawed at it until he could sprint past, and then he kept running until he climbed up a tree. The stupid dog couldn't figure out how to climb, so he had been safe then. Passionpaw had been euphoric since then, reveling in his victory and skill.
Only as he returned to camp after a hunt, he noticed the medicine cat's den was still strangely empty. He frowned as he set down his squirrel on the pile. "Is Amberbird not back yet?" he wondered aloud.
