Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Jadie I didn't forget cx this is for Volcanicpaw and Wolfpaw (If you are still cool with him being the dad of her first litter)
Volcanicpaw wasn't sure what had possessed her to travel so close to the Sunclan border, so close in fact she had actually crossed over it and now stood a few tail lengths in their territory. As she took in the slightly unfamiliar scenery her mind made the connections and she cursed under her breath while looking around to make sure no one had seen her royal screw up, it didn't seem as if there was anyone around but then again they would know better how to hide here.
"Don't mind me, just losing my mind." She spoke out to no one as she took a few steps back towards Dayclans territory.
(I'm cool with it ^^ but if you change your mind and go with one of Faith's or someone else, I don't mind)
"Aren't we all? If someone hears I was hanging out so close to DayClan, I'll be thrown in prison for sure," A tom's voice answered from the SunClan side of the border. He was golden-furred and quite smaller, smaller than Volcanicpaw to be sure, even though he had nearly completed his Warrior training. Despite his size he had a wolfish appearance further emphasized by his long fur coat. He didn't look much like a SunClan cat but his scent confirmed it if his body paint did not, "But anyways, what are you doing here?"
The tortoiseshell apprentices ears flattened against her head, did someone just reply to her or was she really losing her mind, she shook her head chocking it up to her imagination until the voice came again and she looked around, eyes landing on the small body of Wolfpaw. "Oh good I'm not completely insane." This wasn't good though, she had been caught. "Well I was walking, but it seems my paws have gotten me into a tough spot... I'll have to do something about them." She took another step back as she spoke, hoping that she was close enough to the border that she could cross back over.
"If they would throw you in prison then why are you here?" Her head tilted slightly, was he that defiant or did he just not care.
"Hunting for kits or something like that. Bloodyrondo's orders," Wolfpaw said with a completely serious tone, although his galaxy blue eyes were playful. He approached Volcanicpaw with only a little bit of caution, "But if I bring you back with me, it will be just as good. You can take my place in prison and I'll go down as the brave apprentice who captured the enemy." He was smaller than her, but older, less than a moon from earning his Warrior name not that she would know that. He had wolflike features and long golden fur that looked incredibly soft, "What do you say, wanna save my life and get kidnapped?"
Hunting kits. While he sounded completely serious, the look in his eyes were causing seeds of doubt and confusion to bubble within, she knew of what was going on in Sunclan it was hard not to after the wave of cats that showed up looking for a new home after escaping from there, but was Bloodyrondo seriously sending his cats out looking for kits? It didn't sit well with her, but before she could comment Wolfpaw was moving closer to her, and speaking again. She studied his appearance for a moment and couldn't help but notice how handsome the tom was, even still a shiver of caution rippled through her tortoiseshell coat and down her spine but she held her ground, she didn't dare look weak in front of the small tom.
What he said next though alarmed her, she shook it away quickly, not giving herself time to show any sort of reaction. "Oh how did you know it was my life long dream to rot in prison for some cat I dont know!" Sarcasm dripped from each word like water from the trees after a heavy storm. "You truly are out of your mind."
"Weren't you just saying you lost your mind before I showed up?" Wolfpaw replied seriously, his voice stern, "Prison isn't so bad. We feed you most of the time and there's a lot of good company down there," but he couldn't keep up the rouse and ending up chuckling. Whatever intimidating aura he had before was totally gone and he looked very relaxed for a cat facing a potential enemy, "Oh, obviously I'm not dragging you to SunClan, probably couldn't if I tried and besides it's not worth the hassle. How about instead you tell me your name?"
She did say that didn't she, he got her there, but she stood by what she said. Still listening to him talk about prison his sudden demeanor change surprised her, from serious to laughing just like that. "My name?" She tilted her head debating whether or not she should tell him, but then again she was curious as to what his was as well and she didn't think he would tell if she refused to give hers. "Volcanicpaw, what's yours?" As she watched him, a list of possible names floated through her mind. Smallpaw fit his size, or maybe Patchpaw because of the grey spot around his eye? Things along those lines.
"Wolfpaw. Because I guess I look like a wolf," To some extent it as true, his face was anglular with a long muzzle and his fur was poofy in all the right places. So yes, he did match the apex predator for which he was named. The size difference was comical but it wasn't his fault he was born the runt of his litter. At least he wasn't insecure about it, "Volcanicpaw is a pretty name. If suits you very well."
Was he really flirting with a DayClan cat? He usually wasn't so bold with SunClan cats, mostly because if a tom showed interest in a she-cat for more than a passing minute, Bloodystar was pairing them up for life then and there. He had to hold back his urges because he did not want the commitment. But here, on the DayClan border, there was nothing to lose. The two of them would go home after that and not have to explain anything to anyone. He grinned. A wolfish grin.
"I'm not usually so direct, but do you want to go on a... date?"
Valcanicpaw narrowed her eyes so she was almost squinting, looking over the tom with careful focus. "Wolfpaw suits you." She commented, it wasnt a name she would have guessed but after hearing it and having been around him even if for a short time she could see the connection. The she-cat was begining to relax in his presence, enough so that she sat down and curled her tail around her paws, mostly sure that Wolfpaw was no longer a threat. His compliment on her name came as a surprise though, causing her eyes to widen slightly and a warm flush to spread over her face. "T-thanks, no ones ever told me that before." It wasnt a complete lie, her fathers often told her such things but they didn't count, they had to.
"A date?" Her previous surprise was now more prominent, he wanted to go on a date with her, but they just met and they were in different clans. She was at a loss for words, staring at him as an awkward silence filled the air while she gathered her thoughts. He was cute and thus far she hadn't grown annoyed with him.. well mostly. "Okay, but can I ask what made you ask?" She managed to pull herself back to reality and answer.
"Does a guy need a reason to ask a pretty girl out on a date?" Wolfpaw replied smoothly, cocking his head at her, still wearing that dangerous grin, "I don't like to beat around the bush, so to speak. You can reject me if you want. No skin off my back. I just, well, I have a good feeling about this, it's hard to explain."
This was kind of out of character for him, he had to admit. He wasn't usually such a go-getter. In SunClan flings were pretty commonplace but say the wrong thing to the wrong cat and you'd get flayed. DayClan cats, though, they were more friendly, easier to fool around with. Foxbane had the idea first, he was just following in her pawsteps, "So, where do you want to go? I'm afraid it'll have to be in DayClan, unless you're fixing to join a cult."
