Anemoneshade let out a small sigh of relief, grateful at least that Brilliantbeacon listened. Maybe, if she could help them, it'd lift some of the heartache. The Silhouette Gang had things handled below, and she wasn't sure she could face them to try and stop them from escaping. So she needed to keep her word, attacking the cats that had started the climb up to Littlestar. It hurt, each blow she gave and took. But Anemoneshade needed to get up there, no matter what.
Sunnysmiles forced a smile, slowly pulling herself to her three usable legs. "I-I can manage I-ow owowowowowowowowow." For as much as she tried to sound brave and put together, it wasn't working. Pain coursed through her body, and not even digging her claws into the ground was helping. "You can't worry about me. You two need to get out of here. Let me try and distract the guards and--" Honeystorm @samiam
Shadeflower had been too stunned to move as she watched the chaos unfold within the gathering. Never had she imagined witnessing something like this in all her seasons in SunClan. Her green eyes shone with confusion. The mottled tortoiseshell was torn. Leaving was against everything she knew, and Shadeflower refused to follow in a similar path to her traitorous sister. Yet she knew what Bloodyrondo was doing was wrong. Surely there was another way to deal with this? Her tail lashing, the young warrior glanced around at her clanmates. Should she help those that were trying to flee? But then, they were traitors for trying to leave Sunclan and would she not be a traitor if she helped? Yet, truly, Bloodyrondo couldn't be right in all of this... could he?
"No, just a little misunderstanding" the janus purred to Lastaffair. she made sure to make a big gesture of stepping out of the black tom's path, flashing him a wink as she did so. She could already tell she was going to have some fun with this one. "Tell me where you want me and I'll be out of your fur." Honeystorm
"No. we're not going anywhere, besides Articsong needs help too." The silver tabby nodded to where Sunnysmiles' litter-mate was, scratching herself frantically in her distress. Insisting she lean on him he would guide the pale yellow she-cat over to where he'd left Articsong to help Littlestar. If he couldn't keep his grandmother safe he would make sure her children where.
Brilliantbeacon cursed, though when she glanced towards the entrance, she saw Ruinedportrait and Lastaffair. "The guards are already covered.... I think. Getting you to a healer is more important. Mom's out of commission, and the rest are either fighting or left. If you wanna be okay, we need to get you.. somewhere, other than here. Even if it's just out of sight of Bloodyrondo." She stated seriously. strawberrycupid
Lastaffair, generally, wasn't a loyal cat. To be honest, she didn't care for Littlestar or Foxbane. Buuut, she also wasn't loyal to Bloodyrondo, and even though she'd outwardly agreed with him, he would be loathe to expect anything from the Foxbane and Copperthroat child. "Same for you. Tell me who to hit, and they won't stand a chance." She purred at Alois. racer
Ryn wasn't sure he trusted the Janus, but he knew her as Bloodyrondo's sister... so he took the chance. "Don't let any cat or kit out. Don't harm the kits, but they're more important than the traitors." @samiam
Skipstep's head throbbed and it felt like every time he got a clear focus on what was going on a new different view was before him. Blurry. Clarity, Littlestar still crushed underneath that monster of a cat while Bloodyrondo carved into her head. He staggered forwards, a growl bubbling up in his throat. His vision blurred once more. Distantly he heard Silverfringe's shrieking as she was pulled away by Sorrowfularia, the pounding of paws as they ran desperately to escape this madness. He could hear shouts and the pounding of paws trying to flee SunClan Then it became clear and he could see an even worse sight. His sister snarling and blood flowing over her tan coat as Bloodyrondo struck her, Littlestar lying on the ground, Singedwolf being ripped into by that monster of a cat. Sunnysmiles stumbling on three legs one clearly at a weird angle Skipstep grit his teeth and continued towards his mate, moving so he stood over her, planting his paws as he stood protectively over her so Mountain would have to knock him off her to drop back on her once more. He couldn't do anything else for his children right now
"You're no high priest Bloodycrow." Jetclaw spat blood spraying and painting her tan coat red, the wound was dangerously close to her neck and stung but the she cat didn't release him instead she twisted to try and drag him down to the dirt with her. Turning the name he'd given Littlestar on him. "You're a cursed monster who should've never returned! You should've stayed gone and let Moonlitnocturne stay in your place, at least he's got a sense of self."

"Okay, okay." She couldn't get enough breath to talk, shock starting to go through her system. "Earthpaw, g-go help Arcticsong. Please." Sunnysmiles would have given anything to be able to comfort her sister right now, but she could barely muster a thought as she leaned against Brilliantbeacon. Even as she opened her mouth to say something else, nothing came out. But she'd go where Brilliantbeacon wanted her to. @samiam Honeystorm
Senescence was pretty bored with this whole thing, which was probably why she started up towards Bloodyrondo, waving a paw disinterestedly at Mountain man as she did so. "Gonna keep fighting, or get your minions and traitors in check? The League has methods for this sort of thing." She commented, sparing barely a glance at Skipstep and Littlestar. It was impossible to tell which side she was on, though she was quick to smack Jetclaw across the side of the head with full force, towards the wall and the den rather than off the cliff. JetclawJadieCleaver
"You just gonna stand there and stare?" Wolfpaw said as he padded up the Shadeflower. He was a little on edge, as all cats in the clearing were, but he seemed remarkably clam for one so small, "You know, now's the time that everyone is picking a side. Loyalist or prisoner. Bloodyrondo's made it really hard for there to be any gray area..." Nova
Jetclaw had caught sight of Senescence as she neared, but had no time to react as Senescence smacked her and sent her flying. Dimly Jetclaw thought of how this was quite different than their first encounter- Then she hit the wall. There was a crack when her side hit, fortunately slowing her impact so when her head cracked against the wall she didn't crack her skull open but a painful white flash covered her eyes. Jetclaw landed in a heap on the ground, the blow stunning her.
Skipstep's eyes widened in horror at how easily Senescence batted Jetclaw into the wall, he watched as his sister landed in a heap. He gritted his teeth together so tightly it hurt as he remained rooted over Littlestar, he couldn't move from this spot because if he did he left her open to being hurt worse and he wouldn't allow it.
But a lump formed in his throat as his sister stumbled back to her paws. He looked at her trying to urge her to run, that she couldn't win this fight.
But instead Jetclaw, ever the fighter. Ever the stupid stupid fighter. Bared her teeth and ran at Senescence, even though her run was off thanks to the blow she'd taken looking more like a stumbling run rather than a true run.
The she cat was so knocked off from the blow to her head that she lifted her claws too late and instead just ran into Senescence full pelt rather than leap at her.
Oh, that did it. There was not a cat in the world that Bloodyrondo hated more than his deserter brother Moonlitnocturne. He had not meant to strike any killing blows but his rage was insatiable, fueled by the pain he felt as Jetclaw added more bloody stripes to his tabby pelt, "Ha ha ha ha! You are so creative! Bloodycrow! You come up with that all on your own?" His laughter continued as the struggled and he tasted iron before he felt the pain of biting his own tongue, but it did not slow down his speech, "The last cat you would want leading SunClan is that disloyal rat! When the going got tough he abandoned us all like the coward he always was. I agree, all he had left was a sense of self, and the self is a weakling who stumbled too close to the fire and got burned." Jetclaw
By the time he raised his paw, however, Sen had already struck Jetclaw out of his grasp, leaving him standing there, exhausted and covered in blood. All he could do was watch the chaos around him.
Perfectkit sat in the entryway to the High Priestess and Priest Promised's den with a look of horror. The silver tom was the picture of his mother although his large paws indicated he would not be inheriting her size. He winced as he heard Jetclaw's body hit the wall and began to cower.
Senescence almost would have laughed. She was much larger than Jetclaw, and a stumbling attack like that was pathetic at best. "If you're to lead this group, you best get them in order, Bloodyrondo. Get your head on straight, or you'll be dead by morning." Her words were blunt, but not untrue as she sidestepped Jetclaw, letting the she-cat run full force off the cliff.... almost.
In the half second that Jetclaw had to realize her dire mistake, Sen lunged grabbing her and spinning, just barely pulling the force around to keep them both from toppling over the edge. Instead, the Proxy came crashing down in an ungraceful sitting position right on top of the feline, who, considering the situation, probably wouldn't have survived being crushed.
Balancedkit wasn't far behind Perfectkit, and tears were streaming down the kitten's face already as he tugged on her. "Let's get out of the way."
Shadeflower glanced down at the apprentice, her green eyes narrowing ever so slightly. "You aren't exactly jumping to help either." The tortoiseshell hissed softly. The she-cat pulled her gaze from him as she glared up at Bloodyrondo. "He's gone absolutely mad hasn't he... there has to be another way to deal with this whole thing..." Shadeflower let out a soft hiss as she watched the spectacle. "What can we do? If we act out against him we'll be deemed traitors... if we side with him we'll be deemed traitors.."
Ferventkit appeared beside her brother, staring with wide eyes at the chaos around them. She gently put her paw on her brother's shoulder "It's ok Perfectkit, lets pray to the Sun God" she squeezed her eyes closed tightly, the sounds and horrific sights fading away "Sun God, momma said you had to go away for a while, but I hope you can still hear me. Please keep momma and poppa safe" JadieHoneystorm
Tranquilkit stared out over the chaos, her fur bristling outwards as he eyes landed upon their mother "Momma!" she squeaked running straight towards her mother's limp form that her father was standing over "poppa, is momma sleeping?" she had tears in her eyes, standing up on her back feet to reach his face"don't be sad poppa, she'll wake up in the morning" Jetclaw

"I'm just a baby and, besides, it's not my style," Woflpaw was a small tom but it was no secret that he had nearly completed his Warrior training. There was a time where he was self-conscious about his height but these days he used is as an excuse at every opportunity he got, "Bloodyrondo has always had a screw loose, but killing the Sun God put him over the edge. If Littlestar didn't see this coming then she's a fool. But enough talk like this, if we keep it up we'll both end up in prison or worse, and that's a drag. Let's just go hide somewhere until this blows over..." Nova
Jetclaw's eyes widened as she realized her error her hazy mind connecting the danger. Then she grunted as Senescence grabbed her and whipped her around before coming down on top of her. All of the air left Jetclaw's lungs with an oof! The tan and black she cat going limp under her, muzzle buried in the dirt, blood staining the earth beneath the both of them. Jetclaw tried to pull in air but it was a struggle with Senescence on top of her. Her struggles petered out as her body struggled to just pull in air, her head dropping to the ground jaws parting trying to gasp for air.
Skipstep's ears flattened as he saw Jetclaw get grabbed and trapped under Senescence and his heart leapt into his throat as he watched her struggles peter off. "Jetclaw!" He cried, and he almost moved off Littlestar.
Then he heard the kitten cries of his children and he felt his heart rip into three.
Littlestar, his children, or Jetclaw? How could he possibly choose?!
Then Tranquilkit ran up to him and Skipstep could feel the tears forming in his eyes as he watched the blood under Senescence grow wider, Littlestar not rise to get up. The tom swallowed tightly and shakily stepped off Littlestar and went over to his kits. "Kits come to me please," He whispered hoarsely. "Come on, we're... we're gonna play a game okay?" His voice was shaky and hoarse, as he pulled them into him and wrapped his body over them, Littlestar's limp body beside them SKipstep burying his face into his kits unable to bear to look at the sight as his sister undoubtedly lay dying under Senescence. "We're going to close our eyes and pray to the Sun God and the Isle, we're going to call on your grandmother Satin, and your auntie Grace to watch over all of us." HoneystormracerJadie
Perfectkit leaned into Balancedkit's touch but did not join in with Ferventkit's prayer, "What's the point in praying to a god that's gone, sissy? If he was still around this would have never happened... We gotta help them somehow, if he's not gonna..." racerHoneystorm

Shadeflower flicked her ears. She rolled her eyes at the apprentice's comment. "Just a kit... that excuse will get old very quickly you know." The warrior flexed her claws, digging them into the earth as she contemplated his suggestion to hide. It was the more reasonable thing to do, a part of her knew it. Yet it seemed cowardly to hide, especially when their clanmates were in such disarray. The mottled she-cat let out a frustrated hiss. The fur on the back of her neck rose and it looked as though she contemplated taking a step forward. She was a warrior. It was her duty to protect the clan at all costs! Shadeflower hated this feeling, hated not knowing what to do. "What good will hiding do...?!" She hissed softly. "It'll land us in prison regardless, they could accuse us of not doing enough. I say we figure out a way to stop this chaos. There must be a way...!" Shadeflower knew she sounded ridiculous. She was grasping at straws, but she couldn't stand this feeling of helplessness that coursed through her. Jadie
"There isn't a way," Goldengrace meowed softly coming up beside Wolfpaw and Shadeflower. The she cat's eyes were dim, she'd been forced to get up off the ground and seeing this cat tearing herself apart like Goldengrace had been doing just earlier made Goldengrace's heart go out to this cat. "We can't do anything to stop Bloodyrondo, and we can't..." Her throat tightened as she looked at her parents. "There's nothing we can do. This isn't SunClan anymore, this is madness. And the only decision you need to make is if you're going to survive here, or if you're going to take your chances elsewhere." NovaJadie

Tranquilkit and Ferventkit leaned into their father's touch, as Ferventkit answered her brother "The Sun God is just sleeping, when he wakes up he will hear our prayers" she closed her eyes "then all will be right, right poppa?" she started murmmering under her breathe "Dear Sun God, when you come back please help heal poppas heart, and auntie Jetclaw to!" the rest of her words became hard to understand as she burred her muzzle in her father's pelt JetclawJadie
