Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Jadie here's Emris and Brindle's thread. The ceremonies had only happened a few days ago, and Emris already could feel the difference. She felt more alert, stronger, and, in general, just more like she felt when she lived with her mother. Energy had returned to her limbs, and with it some sense of immunity. She was a valued WinterClan apprentice, and there was nothing anyone could do to her! The snow bengal practically pranced around the camp after her training finished for the day. Kvalun had not yet returned with his mentor, but she knew he'd be back soon. He did not have the same enthusiasm she had, instead opting to spend time with his sister. While she enjoyed the company of her brother, she needed a break. This drive to hide from him pushed her to the nursery. Now that she left the place she realized how small it was, and how many cats she never talked to. She had to make up for lost time and teach these kittens some real fun. She poked her head and scanned the place. Her deep blue eyes found one young kit in the back of the nursery that she had never seen before. Emris smiled and worked her way to back. "Hey. You want play with me?"
Due to low temperatures or just genetics - likely both - Brindlekit's fur had recently gotten much thicker and longer. As such, it was also a much more of a chore to keep it clean. Presently she was grooming various twigs and debris that had gotten stuck in her pelt during regular play.
When Emris approached, Brindlekit at first didn't realize that she was talking to her, but when she realized the apprentice was looking at her, she pulled her head away from her tail and flashed her the biggest smile, "Sorry, I didn't see you at first... you said you wanted to play, right? What do you want to play? Hide-and-sneak? Snow ball fight? Tag? Some other game I don't know?"
Emris was really familiar with one game, play fighting, but that did not seem appropriate anymore. She was an apprentice, and Brindlekit was still in the nursery. She had no doubt in her mind that someone would take it the wrong way, even if she let Brindlekit win for a bit before taking over. Still, one of the other games Brindlekit mentioned would be fine. Maybe... "Hide and seek? Outside of camp maybe?"
Brindlekit's eyes widened. While she was a rule follower to some extent, she also had a very adventurous personality and loved a good adventure. It was what had landed her in WinterClan, after all! Her tail flicked from side to side as she thought of all the possibilities and her expression was best described as sugar-sweet, "That sounds like fun! Do you want to hide first or seek first?"

Emris smiled and waved her tail toward the exit. "First I will hide." The snow bengal's paws glided over the frozen earth as she moved towards the exit. What could go wrong? A lone kit and a new apprentice heading out to play in arguably the most dangerous territory? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. "We can go to a lake near SpringClan."
Brindlekit was all in until she heard that was the location and she stumbled slightly. She did't like to go to that place, but Emris would not know that, and she figured that if she ever wanted to be a full WinterClan Warrior someday she would have to get past it eventually. So, she shook her pelt and bounded ahead, showing little to no hint of her momentary trepidation, "At least let me walk with you there! It's no fun wandering around by yourself."
