Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Faith here's Azura and Glowstar's thread Her life was looking up a little bit. Just a moon or so ago she lay bedridden after a near-fatal incident, but now Azura felt better than ever. Almost. She had a few new scars. The one on the back of her neck had deepened and become more pronounced from the one Octavia had given her as a young apprentice. Most of the tingling had disappeared from there by now, but the real damage was on her right shoulder. The cat who nearly killed her carved a square with a teardrop inside of it there, as some sort of mark. The wound hadn't healed close to properly, so the shapes remained as a scar. It was the only thing that really bothered Azura about the healing. Other than that, she had to admit Littlestar did a good job at something for once.
Still, she hated the place. Not the cats, some of them were great. But the ideals of the place sickened her enough to fight back. Azura refrained from inciting rebellion, rather she went for a quieter approach. Today she had gathered a bunch of brambles from around the territory near the entrance to the Maze. It was a perfectly harmless prank: she planned to lay out the brambles along the correct path to SunClan's camp. Everyone would trip over and into them to get into camp. If she was lucky, she might even catch an exceedingly rare Bloodyrondo. The she-cat grabbed the first patch of the brambles and began to drag them into the dark maze.
Strikhedoniadalisay walked through the dark maze, tunnels used to send chills down her spine, but now they had little to no hold on her. None of it was claustrophobia, but entirely from walking through Regime tunnels. There had been a lot of abuse to her underground, but now she couldn't be more friendly with the Regime. She rounded around the corner before stopping short when she sensed another cat coming around the corner on the other side with her. Narrowly missing Azura she managed to side step out of her way before giving a small laugh, "Whoa, sorry," She smiled, but it loosened into a sore expression, "How are you?"
It was no secret Strikhedoniadalisay despised that her daughters were in SunClan. SunClan was everything she raised them to never be like, blind followers. The sad thing about the clan was it didn't matter if you had your own mindset. Once they passed initiation their souls were owned by Sun God. She didn't want any of her kits to be owned by anyone let alone a God who forced a she-cat to become pregnant and then killed her kits. But even worse was the way she saw Romancefable fawn over Azura relentlessly. If she loved him, it wouldn't matter, but his pushy nature was concerning.
Her paws shuffled against the ground as she looked at Azura's bramble contraption. Maybe things had gotten better for her, she seemed upbeat if she was able to make that and drag it all the way into the maze. Although it still disgusted her to see her in such a sexist she-cat abusing clan.
Things were looking up for the she-cat. Save the scarring, she was almost back to her old self. Her fiery mouth had been making a comeback, and it wasn't entirely bitter either. She didn't enjoy living in SunClan, but she was learning how to live there. More like survive, but she had learned to take everything one step at a time. For now, survival meant keeping her sanity in the place, which meant dragging these brambles all over the place.
"Eh, I guess I'm doing okay. I can actually move again, so that's a plus. Not having every known herb plastered on me all day long is definitely fantastic. But..." She rolled her eyes she gave the thicket another tug. "I'm still stuck here, so there's only so much fun I can have." She hissed as she stepped backwards into more of her brambles. "Are you gonna stand there or help out?"
Strikhedoniadalisay stared down at the brambles, "Oh Azura," She said with a light hearted sigh looking at the trap she had made, "Of course, I'll help," She said with a bit of uncertainty as she moved the brambles around for her daughter. Sure, she expected a cooler trap than this. Yeah, she wanted her daughter to cause more anarchy than this, but she was only just starting to recover. Obviously Azura just needed to work her way up to starting fires, playing mind games, and playing more league style tricks. She needed to be more supportive than judging the trap, maybe it would even work like a spider web!
"Yeah being stuck here sucks, I was put into an isolation chamber for a moon in a half with nothing in it. My only regular visitor was the soothsayer helping me recover and even then when I did recover I had basically no one," She said. She was complaining like she had a bad customer service experience rather than being locked up in darkness and shunned for over a moon.
Azura vividly remembered that time. It made her hate SunClan with a burning passion, and it never really eased up, even after the leader found her way back to her home. She felt a familiar pang in her heart as she thought about it again. Azura thought she lost her mother again; however, that time her mother was only a day's walk and a few guards away, easy compared to dying. "Hey, at least you don't have a crazy stalker throwing gifts at you."
Azura returned her attention to the bramble, and let out a slight hiss when Glowstar pulled the brambles off her leg. "How are you doing? I obviously haven't heard much about what's happening on the other side." That part almost bothered her more than being initiated. She hadn't seen her family for any decent amount of time in moons."Whatever happened to that weird guy Eternalfire?" She paused. "I can't even remember his name."
"Everlastingfire? He was Bloodyrondo the whole time, lost control of his illusion on day one, but I said I could keep his secret. He couldn't keep his own secret under lock though soooo, yeah. Oh and Lilacpaw vanished and came back this boss fighter and is on the Bright Brigade, but is grounded for moons. The first arranged marriage ever happened in DayClan and was arranged by Lilacpaw so that was interesting. That Soothsayer, Autumn revealed that Littlestar and Foxbane assaulted her and got the Sun God to admit that he tampered with her herbs to make her pregnant in order to punish and humiliate her. He also killed two of her kits, and with that knowledge Littlestar killed the Sun God. Ummm. Yeah, quite a bit," Glowstar said.
Looking back she refocused on Azura's earlier statement, "Actually, Foxbane arranged a marriage with me and Darkcomplex. He was a nice respectful boy unlike your stalker who knew the meaning of the word no. SunClan is the most sexist clan against she-cats in this forest and hearing about what they did to Autumn makes me worry about you. Whenever you're good to make the walk back to DayClan you let me know."
She almost smacked Glowstar across the face when she finished her first sentence. Her eyes blazed as she continued to set up the brambles, albeit with more vigor. How dare she let the tom spread his propaganda in DayClan? A small hiss escaped her mouth. That wasn't important now. It was in the past. She didn't really care about Lilacpaw vanishing and coming back a 'boss' fighter either. Azura hardly remembered the she-cat, and Azura knew the wonders traveling did on fighting style and technique. Mixing styles yielded the best results, not that DayClan and Absum Lux's styles were terribly different.
Her eyes widened at hearing the other part of the Gathering story. "Well, I knew the Sun God died by Littlestar's claws, but I had no idea that the Sun God did that." It made something inside her burn. She lost her mother at the hand someone in power, so she could grasp the pain Autumn was in. Barely. "Good thing he's dead. I would've hunted him down myself. I'll also end that Darkcomplex for you if you need." Who was he anyway? Azura's heart throbbed as she realized the face of the Clan may have changed beyond what she remembered. "I don't think I could. Like, I physically could, but they won't let me leave."
Strikhedoniadalisay licked her daughter behind her ear, "Don't worry about any of that, when you're able to make the journey I'll get you out of here. But you have to rest up before initiation because they kill failures." She leaned away from her daughters ear, "Don't worry, I'll make sure to start stopping by SunClan daily so if you don't recover before then I'll be there during your initiation in case things go wrong."
"Now then, where do you want this net?" Strikhedoniadalisay purred, "After all, what kind of family would we be if we didn't leave some chaos in our wake?"
She laughed a little bit. "I guess they can try to kill me. Two crazy she-cats have tried before, but I'm still here." Some of her chaos returned to her eyes. "I bet I could take down a few of the Janus. Dapplebreeze? Done. Gingersnap? Dead." She had no ill will towards the Janus. They were more brainwashed than her. "Thanks, though I hope it doesn't come to that. I'd hate to start another war between us and SunClan."
Azura looked over and examined the net the best she could in the dimming light. "I feel like... maybe closer to the main entrance? It looks pretty strong, so it could take out a bunch of them." She touched her nose with her tail. "Before you save me, lay some of these out."
"You got it," Strikhedoniadalisay grinned before taking the trap and setting it up by the main entrance. She hoped they would catch someone they could torment! Or maybe that wasn't Azura's style, whatever she wanted to do they could. "Do you have the rest set up? I can probably lure someone in if we have to."
She was mostly done by the time Glow arrived, but the leader arrival certainly did speed it up. Azura finished laying out the last of the brambles on her end when Glowstar called out. "I think it'll be fine. I mean, this is the only way in or out. Someone has to come eventually." As she finished speaking she could hear some rustling in the bushes outside the entrance. "Get down!" She ducked into one of the unused tunnels.
A pretty snow bengal kitten charged into the tunnels, and her olive eyes widened when she ran into the trap. "WHAT IN THE SUN GOD'S HOLY NAME!!!" She tumbled in to the brambles and starting writhing around and shouting at no one in particular. "CHILDREN OF FOXBANE, I SWEAR I WILL KILL YOU!" To her, 'Children of Foxbane' was quite a swear. She called some other kit that and it didn't really go well for her.
Strikhedoniadalisay ducked down the same time as Azura when she heard the sound of someone smaller coming along. When the trap snapped and it did it's job Strikhedoniadalisay excitedly moved out from her hiding spot, "Ha! We did it," She cheered before playfully poking at the caught cat, "So what might your name be? Come from an important family maybe? One that would pay a high asking price if you were to turn up missing..."
Raykit's blue eyes glared at the she-cat as she approached. How dare she insult her like that?! What gave her the right! Her eyes blazed with fury as she tried to jump at the she-cat's face, but only ended getting more tangled on the bramble thicket. Raykit swore a few more times as she tried to scramble to her paws.
Azura revealed herself from her cave and walked over to them. Of all the in the world she had to trap this one. "She's Raykit, one of Ghostcrown's daughters. She's... an interesting one."
When the initiate's smell hit her nose, Raykit snapped her head back let her kitten eyes bore into Azura. "YOU FILTHY LOWLIFE! I SWEAR YOU'LL DIE FOR THIS, YOU UNFAITHFUL FOX!"
Azura glanced back at Glow as she said that and shrugged. "Yup. You should have seen her when someone spilled paint on her. That was a good one." SHe looked back to the kit, who had made astoundingly little progress in freeing herself. "Wanna just leave her here?"
"Yeaaah, someone else will come by, it'll be fine," Strikhedoniadalisay agreed already side stepping away from the net like she never had anything to do with it in the first place. "Any other excursions you were planning on doing?"

Azura shrugged. "Ya know, I didn't really think that far ahead. I was planning on just doing this all day." She pushed a little bit at the bramble thicket. "Maybe add some poison ivy or something to it, but I'm done with it. We could just go for a walk." She turned away and beckoned for Glow to come with her. "I have some news to tell you." A small smile crept onto her lips.
Raykit didn't believe what she was hearing. "HOW DARE YOU! YOUR INITIATE TRASH! YOU CAN'T LEAVE ME! AND YOU-" She whipped around to face Glowstar. "NEW CAT! I ORDER YOU TO HELP ME OR THERE WILL BE MORE THAN JUST GREEN ON YOUR PELT!" Obviously, she had no idea who she was speaking to.
She playfully elbowed Azura, "Poison ivy would be a great addition to this trap! I would have never thought of that." Her addictive smile was back, it was hard to not smile back at the senator. Her expression altered to a look of interest as Azura continued, "Oh, yeah sure, I love being updated by you" Strikhedoniadalisay purred, following Azura out of the tunnel to hear what she had to say.

Really, Azura didn't know how she would react to the news. Glowstar's first encounter with Romancefable was less than pleasant, and Azura appreciated in back then. Now, things had changed. "Well, I've started talking to that tom you threatened back during the solstice. He's... actually half decent, better than the rest of them." She shrugged. "Things have been going... better. You know, not every second is torture anymore."
"Oh," Glowstar said with a little more understanding on where this might be going, "If that boys being respectful to you then there's no reason not to like him. Foxbane and I were best friends despite how she horribly she treated me. But it was only when she proved that she had really changed that I started to let her into my life more. So if Romancefable has changed and you want to let him into your life more then I think you should. I wouldn't judge you for that. Unless you already let him into your life, but you don't need your moms approval for that of course," She laughed, "It's just kind of my job to make sure people treat you with right, I'd slam anyone on the ground who was rude to you," Glowstar said with a sugary sweetness that only a mom could have when mentioning beating anyone's butt to the ground who threatened her family.

She rolled her eyes. "I understand that I don't have to ask you for permission to date someone. I just wanted to make sure that if you stop by sometime and he approaches me, you know it's fine and don't lay him out like you did during the solstice." She laughed a little bit. "It was pretty awesome, but if needs to be knocked down a bit, I can do that now." She nudged Glowstar with her shoulder. "Maybe, once I'm back in shape I'll be able to beat you soon. There isn't much to do around here but spar."
"When you someday beat me in battle, I'll be able to die peacefully," Glowstar promised her with a smile. She was getting older, thanks to DayClan's enchanted lands it slowed down her aging process, but it wasn't always going to be enough. Time would catch up, she needed to know that her kits would be able to be hardcore like she was.
"Do you like this boy?" Glowstar asked with a smirk, "Just asking for a friend. Which is me. I'm that friend."
