Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
If watching is all you're gonna do, then you're gonna watch your life go by without ya.
"OOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHH, HON HON HONEY, BUN BUN BUNNY, HONEYBUUUUN." Another carefree day in life of the adorable creature known as Honeybun, it was pretty common to find him singing randomly at the top of his lungs and while his voice was not the best, he looked perfectly cute prancing around that very few ever stopped him. He stopped singing for only a second, smiling widely as he passed any of his clanmates before returning to his song.
"You seem to be enjoying yourself," Divinepaw said although she was not smiling. To be fair, she never really smiled, but she seemed... different... since the last gathering. Her entire family was. Finding out the truth, that she was stolen not found, that she was supposed to be dead not alive, and that the punishment for the Sun God's crimes against her family was literally his execution, well, it was a lot to take in for anyone.
Divinepaw had just laid her head down for a nap, only for off-tune Honeybun to storm through and destroy the little peace she'd managed to secure. She had always kept her emotions under lock and key but these days she had the tendency to lash out, "But do you think you could take your fun elsewhere?" Her odd eyes were burning but her tone was even. He was an easy target and she wanted a fight, "You're bothering me."

The small toms music cut off at the apprentices words and his face fell, the look in his eyes similar to that of a cat who just had their heart shattered, it lasted for only a moment though before a big grin spread across his face. "You're so silly Divinepaw!" Ignoring the fact that she wanted to be left alone he skipped to her, his paws dancing on the ground below him. He didn't like to see others so down, that's all her anger was, she must be sad; that was his thought on the matter at least. "Wanna join me outside of camp? Pretty pleeeeaaassseee!" He wanted to see her smile, and maybe he could accomplish that if he could convince her to go with him.
Divinepaw's ears pinned to the back of her head and her eyes darted from side to side as she looked for some kind of escape. Really, this was the last cat she needed around her, she sort of hoped someone would come pull him away, but, honestly, did she have anyone that would do that for her? She'd gotten in a fight with Fia and Goldenphantom. She didn't even know Autumngossamer or Lovesmitten. The siblings she grew up with seemed like strangers to her. Her only friend, if she could even call him that, hadn't talked to her since the gathering. Was she always such a lonely cat?
"Leave me alone." Divinepaw said with her same tone as before but her voice was weaker. She felt her eyes begin to water but by sheer force of will refused to let a single tear fall.

Yep, he was pouting now. He didn't want to leave her alone, as much as she wanted him to, so instead he sat. "I can sing you a song, oh, are you hungry? We can eat together!" It was clear one of two things was happening here, Honeybun was either clueless or down right stubborn. It did hurt him though, each time she tried to push him away, but he could still see the pain coming from her and that hurt much more. He looked at her closely with the same happy smile and slide onto his belly in front of her, lifting his paws to his mouth and stretching his smile wider.
"What is your problem?!" Divinepaw was on her feet now. She wiped the wetness from her eyes and realized that there was no longer any hope for her peaceful afternoon nap, not with this guy trying to cheer her up. Trying to make this she-cat laugh was not the way to heal her, "You know what? Don't answer. I'll just go somewhere else." Fighting was easy but what she really needed was an escape. She padded right past him with her tail low to the ground and her shoulders tense. She looked... afraid? No, it was something different, an emotion closer to frustration.
Gingerpaw walked up to Honeybun when she heard Divinepaw yell at him. The flame point siamese looked between the two right as Divinepaw got to her paws to leave. "I'm sure my sister didn't mean that," She assured Honeybun, "I'm Gingerpaw, I just moved in, it's nice to meet you!" Her voice had a bouncy playful rhythm that sounded hyper, yet soothing to the ear. Her ears flattened seeing Divinepaw's sad expression. She was three moons older, which made her the big sister of the large litter. Before she was the big sister of just two kits, but now it was seven, she definitely had her work cut out for her! "Let me try to warm up to her."
She sprang over to Divinepaw's side, in one quick twirl she was walking backwards in order to face her, "Hey Divinepaw! You're looking real glum, so I was thinking how about we talk? Sister to sister," She suggested, her voice squeaking at the end from the high pitch of her delighted tone.

Honeybuns lip quivered as Divinepaw got up and walked away, without a thought he stood and took a step to follow her when Gingerpaw ran up and offered to help; it was then that his smile returned. "Okay! I'll wait and watch!" He followed the she-cat for a moment but stopped as she started talking to her sister, careful not to get too close so Divinepaw wouldn't yell at him again.
"Stop calling me that, we're not really sisters." Divinepaw said ice in her voice, not meeting Gingerpaw in the eyes, damn it, why did she of all cats have to show up? Gingerpaw was as SunClan as a cat could be. She'd zero right in on weakness and use it against her. The more she thought about it the more she became aware that she really was losing control of herself. The ginger-and-white she-cat abruptly closed her eyes and focused on her breathing. In through the nose, out through the mouth, just like Glowma had taught her. A trick she thought she didn't need anymore...
As her breathing evened out, so did her heart rate, and she felt the rage and frustration subside. Not much, mind you, but enough to fake calm, "If you want to talk to someone, Honeybun over there is begging for it. You two make a handsome couple. Anyway, I just want to take a nap, so I'll leave you to each other's company..."
Gingerpaw's entire tail and ears drooped, they weren't sisters?
"Oh okay... Sleep well Divinepaw," Gingerpaw said as she walked back over to Honeybun, "I guess she just needs to sleep, it makes sense. She's probably had a big day," She said in an effort to reason why her sister would say something like that to her.
While he hadn't been especially close to the she-cats he had caught Divinepaws harsh comment, his face fell, Gingerpaws reaction to the rejection only hurting him more. The little tom stood up as she returned to his side and he quickly wrapped his tail over her shoulders, pulling his frown back into a smile as he looked at her. "Done look so down, she is just stressed, right? People always say things they dont mean when they are upset! You know yall are sisters, she just needs some time so you gotta make sure you are there for her." He nudged her shoulder with his forehead. "Do you wanna do something with me? I wanted to go out, but I dont like going alone."
Divinepaw pretty much immediately felt guilty when she saw Gingerpaw's ears droop. Had she taken it too far? But the damage was done and she knew if she spoke any longer, she'd just dig the hole deeper. So, all she said was a simple, "Thank you," as she padded into the apprentice's den to catch up on her sleep and hopefully improve her mood.
Gingerpaw's eyes glistened at Honeybun's proposal, a smile broke past her lips like a sunlight breaking out from dark clouds, "I'd really like that a lot. I'm Gingerpaw, or well Gingersnap, I wanted to do a small apprenticeship here to really understand the root of DayClan's hunting and fighting. You're really cute Honeybun, I like your fur pattern a lot. I don't think I've ever seen anyone's fur look like that actually, it's so unique!"
