"I'm not going to make you convert if you don't want to. That's not how I do things." He said with a hum. "I'll tell you what I know about the sun god though. I also won't hurt you. I don't injure without good reason." He flicked his tail for the tom to follow him.

"Be careful, Soaringdawn," Flyingcolors whispered softly to her brother and pressed her nose to his flank briefly "and let Starclan light your path." She said the last words softly before stepping back, anxiety and fear gnawing at her stomach.
Soaringdawn looked a bit uneased, he wanted to insist he wouldn't go with him, but looking back at his sister he nodded, "I'll be alright, he's..."
His head turned back to Dragonswrath, "Probably a cat I can trust. I just don't trust leaving you here with the other cats, don't let them make you join, StarClan chose us for a reason, we were brought to DayClan for a reason and maybe that reason is all in this one moment."
He walked over to Dragonswrath side following along.

Whitemagnolia gave Flyingcolors a sympathetic look before turning her attention back to Dragonswrath and Soaringdawn. Should she go with them and make sure he will be alright? Or should she stay behind and make sure nothing happened to his siblings? She felt conflicted and she bent her neck to give her white chest a few tentative licks to calm her nerves.

She nodded at his words. "Don't worry about me," she replied, unease continuing to grip her. Starclan, please let him return to us alive, she prayed but was unsure if they could hear her here in the Sunclan camp. She did notice Whitemagnolia's nervousness and sympathetic look and watched the Sunclan warrior for a moment, tilting her head with curiosity, surprised by that from a Sunclan cat. Who was she?
The blue merle shook her head and walked over to Whisperingraven, pressing into her brother who looked absolutely terrified. She could not help Soaringdawn wherever he was going with the Sunclan warriors but she could be here for Whisperingraven.
He padded along towards the outskirts of the Janus camp where a large tree had fallen. "I just need help clearing this out. As for the sun god, he's arrogant." He flashed a smirk at the tom. "At least, that's what I thought when I first got cursed by him." He turned to break some of the branches off the fallen tree. Before he continued, he gave a thoughtful hum. "He cursed me because I was arrogant and egotistic. I thought I was all that, but after a thousand moons of wandering, you learn the err of your way." His expression was light-hearted as he spoke. Nothing he did had any threat of harm towards the warrior, and his voice remained gentle and light the whole time. "The sun god is harsh, but... he cares." He turned back to the tree and continued to snap the branches off of it.

"It's okay, brother, I won't let anyone hurt you." She whispered to Whisperingraven, licking his shoulder comfortingly before looking at the other sunclan warriors who remained. They clearly wanted to convert Dayclan cats to follow their sun god but their time was wasted. Some warriors, apprentices, and kits may take a liking to their practices but those of them who walked beside Starclan cats could never convert, not truly.
"I've never hailed a God before, but from what I can understand is that they tend to be all knowing and all powerful, much like how a kit looks up to a parent. But your Sun God seems only interested in your clans success, not your happiness. If a cat here wanted to leave and have kits with someone in another clan would he let them be happy and leave or think about how much he wants those kits and force both parents to stay in SunClan? He might give everyone here superiority and great promises in the afterlife, but you're essentially selling out your soul because he technically owns everyone. Only kittypets are owned," Soaringdawn ventured darkly.
In many ways he didn't even aim any of that towards Dragonswrath so much as angered by the situation and in a weird way mad for everyone who couldn't appear to even think for themselves enough to know how unfair their situation was. He really liked Whitemagnolia, but he did feel sorry for her. It felt wrong to try to advance his feelings any further with her because he knew it was unfair to love and pity someone who likely didn't want to be felt sorry for. Still, he would rather die than to not be free. The warrior code was guidelines and StarClan was simply an afterlife. He couldn't imagine having rigid rules that you either die following or die rebelling or a God that claimed to care when he just wanted as much control as Foxstar did. For once in a long time everything felt unfair and he found anger stirring inside him because of it.
The tom gave a gentle hum. “While it’s frowned upon, it’s not prohibited. As long as it doesn’t harm the clan or your loyalty to it, the Sun God doesn’t really care. I left for moons and he still accepted me as the soothsayer. I was even ambassadors for other gods and he still welcomed me back.” He pointed out. “He won’t stop a cat from leaving or coming back as long at the initiate rituals are followed.” He paused his work for a moment. “Even though he has all the power here, he’s fair and just. His job is to take care of the clan, however, so he won’t allow things that could harm the clan.”
"A god is power, but a god is still a person with feelings. And feelings can have faults..." He walked closer beside Dragonswrath picking up a few sticks and placing them aside.
Suddenly he was having flashbacks of doing this precise chore back in DayClan before being carried off by a hawk. Suddenly he found himself staring up at the skies, but he was curious so he pressed on, "Dragonswrath, listen, I like a girl here, I'd join SunClan to be with her, but even if I did believe in the Sun God which I'd like to. My true belief is with StarClan. Isn't there anyway around this? I love her and I'd respect the cats in SunClan, the only thing I can't do is to turn my back on StarClan. I mean... I want to be an emissary still, but if we ever had a family I'd want to be right by her side there for her or if she needed me for anything, I'd want to be there for her so if I have to be an honorary member I'd do it for her, y'know? But it's just that religion issue."
He let out another hum. “I think we should talk to Foxstar. Ultimately, it’s up to her, and I’m not sure which way she’d go with it. If you want though, I’ll go with you to talk to her.”
