Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
( Open to SunClan members, especially the Janus/staff, and any DayClan or SpringClan cats who are willing to live through a brainwashing attempt. )
Take some of the captives and attempt to brainwash them as you see fit. For every cat you can 'convince' to become a SunClan initiate, Foxstar will grant you one thing you wish for, within reason.
Fang yawned as he was dragged, literally, by the members of SunClan towards the Janus Camp. Something about convincing them to join SunClan? The tom didn't know, and frankly, he didn't care, he just wanted to take a nap. Apparently, that made him an easy target, as the gray tom had awoken to find himself halfway out of their prison, the air warming around him as they headed closer to the hot springs. Fine by him, it kept him warm enough, didn't it?
He wriggled slightly in the grasp of his captors, trying to find a comfortable position to settle down in as they traveled through SunClan's Burial Grounds, the Bright Brigade member lazily batting at the sunflowers as they walked through them. Pretty.
Soaringdawn had the build of a warrior, but the short kitten plush fur of a kittypet He had white fur with a ginger tail and upper face with amethyst eyes. A Scottish Fold. He was an emissary, chosen by StarClan to guard the secrets of DayClan and assist apprentices in the road to warriorhood. But he himself never had training to know how to fight. He glanced at either side of him at the warriors and struggled in their grasp just a bit, but it hurt and they were outnumbered. They could do literally anything literally anything to them and there was absolutely nothing he could do except plan his reaction to it. He didn't want to die, his father already lost their mom, their sister Gardenia had been injured horrifically. He didn't want to be another person pitied or buried in this family. But he also knew whatever he was being dragged towards he likely wouldn't comply. There was a feeling of dread he imagined prey felt, that they knew they were going to die and instinctively surrendered themselves towards it. But he wasn't entirely sure he could do that. He'd fight like a warrior in his last moments if he had to. That was his planned reaction.

Flyingcolors was not a warrior like many of the others surrounding her but rather Dayclan's medicine cat. The odd blue merle she-cat had once been an emissary, and in her own way still was, along with her siblings born to Amethystsight and Snowprince. This rather unsettling turn of events was the last thing she expected, however, as she was dragged by a Sunclan cat through their territory and towards wherever they would keep them. She had protested and wanted to walk there with at least some pride but the medicine cat's wish had not been respected as they grabbed her scruff and a throaty growl built up in her. She had learned basic battle moves for protection which was standard for a cat of her position but she was no match for these battle hardened cats.
Not too far away was her brother, Soaringdawn, and she felt a pang of anxiety and worry pierce through her as she remembered the echo of him in Starclan. Would today be the day he was taken from her? Flyingcolors sensed his fear and wished there was a way for her to comfort him. In the jaws of someone else being forcibly dragged, however, there was not much she could do other then let out a tiny meow as if she were a kit.
Smokeblossom wasn't faring much better than the others. Though the SpringClan warrior was surprisingly well-built for a she-cat of her young age, she lacked the confidence or forethought of her peers, and had abandoned all sense of caution and had resorted to panicking. "W-where are you taking us?" she stammered, breath hitching as she was haphazardly dragged around.
"Will you shut up?" Spritefairy snapped. The DayClan warrior huffed as she was dumped on the ground for a second, before being dragged off again. "You're going to get us all killed, idiot."

She was conflicted. The white she-cat with a ginger ring around her fluffy tail followed behind the other SunClan cats and the captives. Whitemagnolia Shifted her paws. While being chosen for such an opportunity to please the Sun god himself was a once in a life time, she could help but feel it was all wrong.
She didn't know why he hadn't crossed her mind. But upon seeing Soaringdawn with the other captives she suddenly didnt feel she was capable of brainwashing a cat. Especially not him. Would it hurt him? Her ear twitched but she refused to let them droop and expose her forbidden feelings.
Dragonswrath padded slowly towards them, expression blank. After a moment, his gaze rested on Soaringdawn. The soothsayer stared for a moment before approaching him, slowly. "Walk with me?" He tilted his head slowly, expression still entirely blank.
Brokenstride rested her tail on Whitemagnolia's back, the senator giving her a warm and encouraging smile. "We don't have to hurt them."
Electricwolf's body was stiff the golden tom keeping his head high. Hed allowed them to take him, in the stead of any young impressionable apprentices. He had no doubts their efforts to get them to convert would range from honeyed empty promises, to violence if need be. If he could take up even a few cats time, it meant there were less cats to try to convert the other members.
Skipstep considered the cats they were leading along. He considered them trying to figure out what could be said or done to push them to become SunClan initiates. He wanted that wish. He didnt know what he wanted yet, but he wanted the ability to get a favor. With Littlebird's difficult kitting. Perhaps he could request Foxstar to ask the Sun God for help. Or to bless Littlebird to where maybe enduring this difficult trial she could have only good fortune going forwards. He also would like to extend a wish towards his sister Jetclaw. He didnt know what to wish for for her. But he wanted it.
So he'd need to convert at LEAST two cats. His eyes narrowed looking over their candidates claws digging into the ground. He prayed to the Sun God asking him for the cunning to pull this off.
There was no way to sugarcoat it: Whisperingraven was absolutely terrified. He tried fervently to keep his white-streaked black legs from quivering. The Scottish fold usually stuck close to his siblings, Flyingcolors and Soaringdawn, and though he wasn't too far from them, the level of separation that was happening now was a bit too much for him. He had his father's eyes, round golden orbs that expressed every ounce of emotion contained within his plush-pelted body. No sound came from the small black tom.
"NO," Soaringdawn, instantly pushed away from Dragonswrath, his voice had height, severity with an edge made to silence. It was easy to feel confidence when it was for another person, "I'm not going anywhere without Whisper and Fly, we're family. Whatever you're going to do I won't cooperate, not without my family and if you're going to kill us then just let us go down fighting."
He quickly went to Flyingcolor's side first, but stared helplessly at Whisperingraven. He wanted his dad here to negotiate. Or Gardenia, she was strong and would protect him. But it was just them. He didn't want to see his mom yet. Didn't want to be murdered like she was. He nuzzled his whole face into Flyingcolor's and whispered softly into her ear, "I'll protect you and Whisper... I promise."
He never felt so uncertain of a promise before, how could he protect them? There was no way he could if he fought with everything in him. He spotted Whitemagnolia and his tail lifted slightly at the sight of her. What did she think of all this? Did she agree or was she horrified or maybe this was just normal for them.

She gave the senator a soft smile. However at the declaration in Soaringdawn's voice her heart raced with panic. Would she be brave enough to defy the Sun god and Foxstar if a cat attempted to harm him? What were these feelings? She lashed her tail in confusion and agitation. Was Dragonswrath going to let Soaringdawn refuse? She padded forward close enough to be behind Dragonswrath but close enough to be considered interrupting. Maybe if something got out of hand she could be a voice of reason.
"We're not going to kill you," Skipstep said, trying to sound soothing, he felt a little ill as he came forwards moving towards Soaringdawn. He needed to get these cats to turn to becoming initiates, he needed to get that wish. He needed it for Littlebird. These cats were just an obstacle. They were prey, he had to lure them into a trap. Which was difficult as a manipulator, he was not. "Shhh, relax, take it easy. No need to be hostile. We're just moving you away from the others so we can have a little chat. You seem like a smart cat, and very concerned about your family." He glanced towards Flyingcolors and Whisperingraven. "So we're taking you a place to give you the opportunity to improve your lot. I have a mate and a sister myself you know, and we're very happy, and I care about them a great deal. like you and your siblings. If I was in your paws, I'd want to do everything I could to help them right? So just relax, we'll be reaching our destination shortly and then we'll chat about how we can make things better for you all. But we need a little cooperation." Skipstep said. "So let's let the fur lie flat, and let's all just relax and carry on. We'll be there soon."
He couldn't promise there wouldn't be death, but he'd once played along to one cat believing his dead brother was still around. He figured maybe, just maybe if he tried to make it sound good he could persuade them.
He glanced at his fellows wondering if he could coerce one of them to play the 'bad guy' role. That worked in theory right? You had the violent one ready to shake down someone into submission, and then temper it with the relief of a caring compassionate seeming soul who loosen their tongue by bringing relief to their suffering...
Maybe he'd see if Jetclaw would come, she had always been the more fearsome of the both of them. And though Janus she was not, she would gladly help him if it meant earning a wish from Foxstar that they could potentially and hopefully use to put a better word in with the Sun God for Littlebird.
The reminder of Littlebird's agony made him tighten his resolve. He needed to figure out how to get these cats to comply. For Littlebird. Littlebird was all that mattered. He had to get to one of these cat. And by the Sun God he would.
"Let go of all of us then, this has been humiliating being dragged like kits," Soaringdawn admitted, his fur lying flat almost immediately.
More than fear he felt absolutely degraded and that burned him more. If he died with fear in his heart so be it, but if he died being dragged out of camp by the scruff through the dirt whimpering about his fate it was the worse death possible. But even then he couldn't help it, after the rush of anger left him it was only fear and humility left behind and he was trembling just like his brother. What was he supposed to think? They were selectively dragged out of their dens without a word. They hadn't been rebelling as much as the rest, but they hadn't exactly been cooperating. The only thing left to assume was that they were going to make an example of them in whatever way that meant. But Skipstep's comment did hit him a bit, it was true, these cats had families, they were still cats. But cats of fewer morals, they only cared about their own from what he gathered and they weren't in his clan... Not to mention Whitemagnolia was there, he really liked her and instead he was yelling at her clanmates and trembling before them, what would she even think of him now?
The Soothsayer held up his tail to Skipstep. "I'm not going to hurt you. That'd be counter productive. I was hoping you could help me with something. Then you could explain to me why you think we should let you go. Deal?" He tilted his head. "It'd be a win-win. I need help, and since my Janus are watching your clan, I have no one to help me. Plus, you get to plead your clan's case to me."
Soaringdawn almost wanted to say that Flyingcolors should help, she was a medicine cat. But he also didn't want to toss his sister under the monster so he just slowly nodded. He had no control over the situation, none of them did, if there was even a chance that existed that Dragonswrath could help it was worth taking. He walked over to the Soothsayer with his tail and head lowered, "Deal."

"No, Soaring don't do it." Flyingcolors' heart had jumped into her throat and she stepped forward beside him, eyes wide with fear and her heart burning with a desire to protect her siblings. All she could see was the starry shadow of her brother and fear pulsed through her. She didn't want to lose him. He had warned her not to try and change his fate but how could she lay down and pretend not to know and not try to save him? When had he gotten so brave and so willing to sacrifice himself? She didn't want to let him. Not her brother. Why did it have to be him?
"We have no business with you. We will not reveal anything about Dayclan to you and you will not make us become part of your cult." Her tone was strong and harsh, a fierce desire burning within her. They may have taken their pride and dignity but they could never take their loyalty.
Skipstep turned to Flyingcolors, "Remember your leader is Strik, a senator of SunClan, your leader preferred to let a duel decide whether all of you would come here. Theres no need for such hostility. We're trying to save you from yourselves. DayClan was looking at freezing and starving, or maybe not freezing but starving in a twoleg nest thing. We've told you, we only are here to help make things better for you. Weve taken you aside to see if you can help us help you." He glanced at Dragonswrath.

"We did not ask for your help." She stuck stubbornly to her stance. The emissary become medicine cat was no expert in fighting and was not trying to stir the mud but she would not cave either. "There is no shame in doing what we need to do to survive. Glowstar did what she thought was best to protect us and all of Dayclan. What do you want from us? Stop darting around the bush and speak, Sunclan." Maybe she was a bit too forward, maybe she was pushing her luck, but she was feeling exhausted and protective. A cornered and desperate cat who had a lot to lose and little control over it.
"Relax," Skipstep stressed. "You're stressing yourself out unnecessarily, and you're right Strik did what she knew was best. Thats why she was accepted by the Sun God. Thats why shes still a member of SunClan. I know you've been mistreated by some of our clanmates but we've taken you aside, away from those few unpleasant folks. We want to show you the true warmth and glory of the Sun. We want to bring down the wall that separates DayClan and SunClan. Were inviting you to join your leader in enlightenment." Skipstep said eyes shining as he spoke. "We could all live happily in the sun's light, thered be an end to you sufferingin leafbare."
"Pretty sure when Glowstar said she had a long sleepover with Foxstar it was a friendly way of saying kidnapped by someone she trusted," Soaringdawn mumbled.
Soaringdawn looked between Flyingcolors and back to Skippingstep about two times before deciding to sit down for this one, "What's the Sun God?"
His tail curled around Whisperingraven protectively. If anyone in DayClan believed in StarClan it was him and his siblings. They were chosen by StarClan themselves, they saw the Spirit Glen and could walk between the land of the living and dead and every apprentice in DayClan had seen a spirit. StarClan was real, there was no denying it and even if Sun God did exist why should they abandon their ancestors for him? Just because their mom believed in the Blind Protector didn't mean they would convert.

Whitemagnolia has remained tense up until Soaringdawn had settled down. Her muscles ached as she relaxed them and sheathed her claws. Deep divots in the earth under her paws from where she had been anxiously kneeding. She saw the fire in soaringdawns eyes and knew he only gave in to listen for the sake of his kin. He had no ear for the sungod.
