Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Glowstar typically slept on the wisteria throne in the center of camp, but ever since Foxbane's kits had arrived she had been sleeping in a den with them. Unlike most clans where dens were divided by age DayClan's dens were divided by families. All dens were located behind the valleys waterfalls allowing plenty of space to make homes.
Currently it was raining outside, which meant today was a stay indoors day or a very long day of cleaning muddy kits from the rain. Quietly she moved over to the kits large nest and gently rubbed the backs of each of their sleeping bodies to wake them up from their naps. "It's raining out, would you like to play indoors or outside?" Her voice was soothing like a soft song ending in a whisper and her paws gently whispering over their furs tickled sending playful tingles down their spines.
"Outside! Outside! Outside!" Divekit cheered, springing to his paws as if he had never fallen asleep. Ears pricked, pelt fluffed, he charged headfirst out of the den and into the rain.
... and immediately fled back into the confines of the den to bury his face in Glowstar's pelt. "Inside!"
Magnoliakit squeezed her eyes shut, trying to ignore the feel of Glowstars paw rubbing her back a tactic that had almost worked... almost. Her eyes flew open and her dark calico pelt fluffed out in response to Divekits cheers, watching him propel out of the den only to return a second later covered in water. "Loud." She complained curtly. The little she-cat got to her paws and stumbled to the dens entrance so she could see the falling rain. "I wanna go outside!" She called, turning her pale green eyes to the leader in a pleading manner.
Smashkit had bounded outside with Divekit but unlike her brother she did not return when the water hit her fur. Intead, she let out a fearsome yowl, thinking she was being attacked, "BEES? ARE THESE BEES?!" She screamed, batting blindly at the fat droplets that were falling all around her, "I think I'm bleeding! Someone help me!" It didn't rain a lot in SunClan, okay?
Glowstar snickered as Divekit came running back in, his pelt soaked. "How about I dry you off while your siblings play out in the rain," Glowstar offered to Divekit with a purr. Before she knew it Smashkit was already barreling outside with just as much of a shocked reaction as Divekit had. "It's called rain darling," She called out gently after Smashkit as her ears flattened with a wince hearing her screams. Turning to Magnoliakit she nodded, "Go ahead and play with Smashkit, it's only water," She reassured her before giving her daughter a loving lick across the cheek, "Have fun, love."
Gently she picked up Divekit settling him down into her paws before stroking him dry with her tongue over his face. She cuddled her face into his, "I hope that even when you're older you don't grow out of cuddles with your mama."
"Mmm," Divekit agreed, snuggling closer to her as his siblings left the den. Smashkit's unpleasantly screaming reassured him that he had made the right choice when he came back inside of staying out there in the rain. He sat up straight between Glowstar's paws, scrunching up his face a little but not moving away. "Never," he assured her confidently, reaching up to place one paw on the tip of her nose. "Always cuddle."

"Gods help us." Surfkit sighed. Glowstar's tactic worked perfectly, he woke up. But he was a much more lowkey than the rest of his siblings, choosing instead to stay next to Glowstar for the warmth. Plus the shrieking of his siblings bothered him on a good day, the rain only making it worse as he took a few tentative steps before settling down again next to the leader's front leg. "If we do, you can wack us... I guess." Surfkit mumbled into her fur.

Dizzykit had been sleeping deeply, but suddenly being doused with wet fur jolted her out of the nest paws scrambling to get her feet under her squeaking loudly. It took her several moments of wild kicks to be able to stand, before running in a couple circles before seeing her brother Smashkit out in the rain. Her eyes brightened up, looking back at Glowstar "Rain? Oh... The sky water!!!" she purred remembering the stories she had been told about it but never seeing it before. She tumbled clumsily out of the nest, making her way to the nursery entrance and sticking out a paw to catch a raindrop pulling it back inside sniffing it "It smells different than the river"
Smashkit continued to have her crisis all alone for a few minutes before she realized that the rain wasn't hurting her and she wasn't actually bleeding. At one point she came to a complete halt and just started up the the gray sky as it rained down around her, a new idea in her head. She padded back into the nursery drenched and thoughtful, "Mama, is the sky falling?" She shook herself thoroughly, spraying whichever sibling was unfortunate to be around the main entrance of the den, and cocked her head, "Does someone have to put it back together?"
Magnoliakit smiled when she was given the okay to play outside, she had never seen rain before but the way Divekit and Smashkit had reacted made her curious. With on fluid movement she stood and jumped out of the den and into the rain, her short pelt quickly drenched. It didn't take long for the she-cat to spot a newly formed mud puddle, her paws carrying her to it, was it water or dirt? "Hey guys come look at this puddle, its brown!"
"EEEEE!" Glowstar squealed before taking a breath, play it cool, she took a breath, "I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!" She said nuzzling the top of Divekit and Surfkit's heads in small quick kisses.
She peered over to Smashkit, "Darling the sky can't fall, it's just water coming out from the clouds," She reassured her daughter, "You'll be alright," She promised before her eyes stared out in immediate shock, "Oh Mags, that's a little dirty, you can play in it, but just know that I might be spending the rest of the evening cleaning you up for bed time."
In the distance they could spot two cats approaching, but in the pouring rain Glowstar couldn't make out any scents. She was about to stand up to make sure it wasn't anyone of danger, but when she recognized her brothers voice she relaxed herself back down. "Your uncle Sean's here for a visit." (Sean pronounced Seen)
It didn't take Magnoliakit long to walk into the muddy puddle after learning it was safe, her calico pelt now brown as she jumped up and down splashing the mucky water around her. She stayed in the mud for a bit but the appearance of their uncle pulled her attention away from her fun and she ran to him, fully prepared to hurl her small muddy body onto his. "Uncle Sean!"
"Oh, okay." Smashkit always believed whatever her mother said, but she still had more questions. However, at the mention of her uncle's approach, her canary yellow eyes flitted toward the nursery's entrance and she was off again, back into the rain. She didn't even flinch when she was pelted this time although she did nearly wipe out in one of the puddles. Luckily Sean's leg was there and she latched onto it like he was a buoy in the ocean, "Uncle Sean, why do clouds pee water?"
Sean practically gagged feeling the sopping wet kit puts its entire body around his leg. Cautiously he lifted Smashkit up, forcing a friendly smile. It's just... A little rain, he was covered in it so it was fi-
Magnoliakit ran into him full force, covered in mud and muck. He may as well have gotten stabbed in the back because the expression would have been the same. He cringed, but managed to hold his smile even if it failed to be convincing, "Always a treat... To meet my nieces," He said, his tone almost wincing. He sucked in an air of breath before getting over his furs filthy state, "It really is great to see all of you," Sean purred.
"Honestly Sean, it's just a bit of mud," The she-cat next to him chastised before leaning down to greet the kits, "Hello! I'm grandma Eartha, it's so lovely to meet my grandkits."
For as old as Eartha was she looked ridiculously young given her old age, it was the perks of retiring as a kittypet. But she no longer wore a collar and only had the genetic perfect physique as evidence of her past. She strongly resembled Glowstar, but her color was much more red, she was shorter than the tall leader, and had a softer appearance. She let out a dramatic gasp, "Would you two like to show me around? I hear there's tadpoles here and I bet you we can find some frogs too!" She offered in an energetic tone.
Glowstar stared out in disbelief that her mom was standing in camp. She got up despite how warm and precious the moment was with Divekit and Surfkit before leaving the den, almost like she was under a spell, "Go be with Divekit and Surfkit," Glowstar ordered Sean as she walked right past him and over to Eartha.
Sean though she would never ask and immediately walked into the dry, "Alright, which one of you are going to keep warm," He joked. Considering just how wet he was no one was going to want the challenge of drying him off from the rain.

"me me!!!" came the excited squeak of Dizzykit from the entrance as she started to race over to Sean. Her little legs moved to fast though, and shen ended up rolling more than running until she rolled onto his paws. Laying her back looking up at him with a sweet smile "I'll dry you off uncle Sean!!!"
Magnoliakit kept a tight grip on Sean until he began to walk to the den, not ready to be out of the rain she detached herself and turned to Eartha. "I'm Magnoliakit! Are you really our grandma? Why do you smell different?" The questions poured out, and she paid no mind to her mother who had approached the she-cat.
"Uncle Sean's here?" Divekit looked out of the den longingly. He wanted to go visit him, but it was still raining out there, and he didn't like how wet that felt. He wavered on the decision until Glowstar stood up to leave them and let out a cry of despair.
"Momma, don't leave us," he whined. Suddenly he didn't care about Sean. Eyes rounded and lip quivering, he looked to his uncle. "Why did she leave us? We were going to cuddle forever..."

Uncle Sean, huh? Was he even their uncle. Surfkit couldn't help but look at his grey pelt and compare it to the oranges and reds all the adults had. Even for one so small, the change in Glowstar was clear to him. "Mama, are you sur--" He started, but she was already up and out of the den before he could finish. Surfkit pulled himself to his paws and walked over to the entrance, warmth wicking away into the cold rainy air. Even just standing by the entrance, he could feel his balance starting to slip into the muddy ground. Surfkit stepped back and headed back, sitting next to Divekit as their "uncle" approached them. "And if she's really your mom, how is she still alive? Glowstar and you are already pretty old?" Surfkit asked, a bit too blunt and grumpy that his cuddle buddy was gone.
"Perfect," Sean purred dragging Dizzykit playfully towards him, nuzzling his face into hers.
"Why did she leave us? We were going to cuddle forever..."
"Ugh, typical of your mother, you would not be-lieve the amount of stress she leaves me with. Your mother is certainly going to be a headache in your life," Sean marveled, already rubbing his temples at the thought, as though there was an oncoming headache about to be had, "Uh! The turmoil," He scoffed before refocusing on Surfkit, "She's a kittypet, two-legs take your freedom, but they definitely know how to take care of a cat. One kittypet claimed to meet four generations of clan cats. But also us Regime cats live safely underground with many medicine cats so if you ever get over this whole clan phase and want to join a real group definitely stop on by our tunnels and not those dirty league cats," He winked.
"You can bet your tail on it," Eartha smirked, giving Magnoliakit a friendly shoulder bump, "I'm from the Regime, one of the most studious guiders there."
"Really? All these years gone and you're still going to hold onto that title?" Glowstar asked Eartha, with a watchful expression.
"Well I think grandmas gotten all the rain she can take for now so I'm going to head inside, but you enjoy yourself," Eartha said, rubbing the top of Magnoliakit's head before heading into the den with Glowstar following close behind. Eartha's gaze looked over at a pile of moss balls, almost too many, how many kits were playing with them?
Magnoliakit stared up at Eartha with awe in her eyes, she was so cool and the little she-kit couldn't help but to follow her mother and grandmother as they left the rain and stepped into the dry area of the den. She wanted to know more about Eartha. "What is the Regime like?" She chirped, practically gluing herself to the she-cats leg.
