Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Parents: Autumngossamer, Lovesmitten, Fia Cendrillion, Goldenphantom
The sun beamed down overhead, but for once it didn't feel like a judging eye in the sky. For once the sun in the sky was just a sunny day and for the first time in a long time Autumngossamer was content with the peace. Sun God was dead, his victims had vindication, her children were safe, she had fought for her happily ever after and achieved it the best she could.
Today was a family get together day, one where she hoped herself, Fia, Golden, and Love could answer all of her their kits questions as well as fill in any of the blanks. She hadn't expected their reaction at the gathering to be anger, it took her off guard. When she first learned about them she was certain they wouldn't care about her, having been adopted herself she knew if she ever met her real mother she wouldn't give a damn about her. But then again her situation was different, she never disowned her kits, they were taken, their entire existence was hidden from her.
Harvestpaw sat close to Sweetpaw giving her two reassuring licks across the shoulder before curiously looking at his DayClan siblings. He wondered if him and Sweetpaw would have been half as close if they had been raised with the rest of their siblings. But he was certain he would still be close, he had been nursed by Flawedperspective with her three kits, yet still remained closest to Sweetpaw.
Gingerpaw had been zig zagging through the open field for a while now before zooming up to her new siblings. She leaned down into a play stance with a sharp grin, "Which one of you are going to play with me first!" She chirped. She was a few moons older, adopted and an ex SunClan Janus. She was closest to her littermates Amberpaw and Scarletpaw, but wished her forever little sister Siennakit could be here to see this.
Fairytalepaw sat closest to his mom, but watched as his new siblings each seemed to have a sibling or two they were close to. He didn't feel he had that, he loved all of his siblings equally, but maybe he just wasn't closest to one yet. His blue gaze turned to Lovesmitten, he could tell he looked a lot like him.
Sweetpaw leaned into her brother's touch. She had been unusually quiet since the gathering, lost and conflicted about all that had happened. The only thing she really understood was that the god who had hurt her mother was gone, and she and Harvestpaw might be free now... though she wasn't about to test their curse to be sure.
"What do you think about all of them?" she asked Harvestpaw quietly, whispering into his ear. Though they had met the DayClan apprentices once before, they weren't very impressive in her eyes.
Harvestpaw looked out thoughtfully at their siblings before whispering to Sweetpaw, "I think Princepaw is a weirdo, Fallpaw's too bossy, Divinepaw's really intrusive," He said, his gaze sweeping over each sibling as he spoke, but he stopped before he could finish all his criticisms, "But they're probably the only people in our lives that understand us more than anyone else can. The Sun God killed us, he wanted our family separated and in a way he got what he wanted. I can't let him win anymore than he has. This family has hurt too, maybe they weren't cursed in the way we were, but they never had mom and dad. They were lied to as much as we were about their birth. We always said we're a cursed family so... Even if they're oddballs we're kind of all oddballs together... Plus we're going to need their help, mom said Sun God isn't gone. I'm not going to let him hurt anyone like he hurt us. If we all team up with them then maybe we can find the Sun God before SunClan can, we could intercept fate. But I can't do it without you Sweetpaw, are you still with me?" He asked, his green gaze stared pleadingly into hers.

Goldenphantom sat with Autumngossamer and the other adults, just far enough to let each of the kits she raised be able to sit with them. Brown eyes watched over the camp, as her now even larger family talked and played with each other. Some part of the golden tabby still felt guilty, even with the countless times she was told it wasn't her fault and it was for the best. Just seeing the family nearly double in size freaked her out some. It was change, and Golden wasn't known to be good at it. So she picked at the grass, trying not to laugh too much.
Princepaw had been talking to some of the others when Gingerpaw approached them and dropped into play. Normally, it wasn't her thing. But Princepaw quickly mimicked her. "A fight it shall be. Be aware, dear sister, for I have trained in--"

Fallpaw hadn't been back to DayClan's camp since the gathering, refusing to have anything to do with her family members since the big reveal. She had been sleeping out in the territory, close to home but still avoiding any sort of contact with anyone but the ferret she had been raising. It was all just to much to take in at once, and she just couldn't bare to face her birth parents. What would they think of her? Did she even care what they thought? There were just so many unanswered questions, and the whole family suddenly moving to DayClan... What did the expect, and warm welcome? She didn't even know them, and she wasn't sure that she wanted to.While her other siblings frolicked and played with one another, Fallpaw stayed at a distance isolated and silent. The little ferret wove it's way around her paws, its white fur coming in looking sleek and healthy from all the meat she had been feeding it. It prefered staying close to her, always at her side until she neared camp when she would leave it a burrow she had dug just for it stay in.
Divinepaw was there, but not really. She had a sort of hollow look in her eyes that said don't look at me, don't talk to me, she just wasn't herself. She didn't want to be here. In fact, she wasn't so sure why she even showed. Probably something petty, some desire to be at least a little better than the weakest link that was Fallpaw. She hadn't run away at the gathering and she didn't plan to run away now... although her paws itched to get up and leave, just like that stupid Honeybun cat had made her feel the other day. What was wrong with her? She'd never had such a hard time controlling her emotions. Her whole life she'd been a master of herself, but she wasn't anymore, and no matter how much she tried to get back to where she was each step forward felt like two steps back. So, she held her tongue, and glared daggers at any cat who looked at her. No, she wouldn't be the first cat to back down and walk away, but she fully intended on being the second.
Gingerpaw launched forward at Princepaw, expertly pinning her face to the ground, before remembering she was a few moons older than Princepaw. It was rude and unlady like to play rough. So instead she rolled off of Princepaw and onto the grass next to her, that way it was fair so they were both on the ground. "The grass is so much greener over here," She remarked, staring at the bright green grass. SunClan grass always had a yellowish hue to it, plus it as dry.
Autumngossamer was hoping Fia would talk first, but when she didn't she opted to, "Alright so I wanted us to be here in case anyone had any questions or concerns. This is entirely for you so if you want to vent, fill in any gaps, or have any curiosities about anything I'll do my best to answer."
"What day is it?" Gingerpaw asked.
"Ginger!" Autumngossamer scolded for the simple question, but a smile played at her lips watching as her daughters attention span slowly left her and onto a ladybug slowly stalking up a blade of grass.
Fairytalepaw watched Autumngossamer speak, but really was worried about Fallpaw. He hadn't seen her in a while and now Divinepaw was acting differently. Was he not reacting enough? He subconsciously bit at his paw in thought and looked at his siblings for social cues, but they seemed to lack any at the moment. He had a lot of questions, yet was saying nothing. Did these new people love him or want to know him? What would have Littlestar done to him if Fia hadn't taken him? Why did Fia not trust Golden with the truth? Would SunClan hunt them down? But he didn't have the courage yet to ask any of these questions.
"You have got to be kidding me..." Divinepaw said under her breath in response to Gingerpaw's comment. The air was heavy, at least from her perspective, but it seemed no one else shared that perception. She wrapped her tail more tightly around her paws. Everyone was reluctant to start the actual conversation, wary of upsetting the grown ups, but she'd already done that at the gathering. She lifted her odd eyes and leveled them at the former SunClan Soothersayer, "Okay, I've got a question. What am I supposed to call you?"
"Autumngossamer, or Autumn for short," Autumngossamer said, "When I look at you, you're my daughter, but if you look at me and don't see a mother than it is because I've done nothing to deserve being called one. The same rules don't apply for children, you were my daughter the moment you existed. I'll always love you more than you love me." or else I'm doing my job as a mother right.
"But you can all consider me and Lovesmitten as a second set of parents. There is nothing we wouldn't do for you that Fia and Golden aren't willing to do," She promised each of them before looking to Fia Cendrillion and Goldenphantom eagerly, "I consider us a team from here on out."
Sweetpaw hesitated. She didn't want the Sun God to win either, but this family wasn't what she wanted. The DayClan apprentices were strange and rude and they didn't look happy to have a new family in their clan. Sweetpaw herself wasn't sure she wanted to be in this clan, but what choice did she have? They had left SunClan, she didn't know the other clans well, and Harvestpaw was here. She couldn't leave her parents and certainly not her brother.
"Of course I'm with you," she sighed, touching her nose briefly to his ear. She sat beside him as their mother started answering questions.
"What about us? We don't have to treat them as parents, right?" Sweetpaw stared uncertainly at Fia and Goldenphantom.

Princepaw was positively decked as Goldenphantom looked over towards Divinepaw and Fallpaw, her heart stopping as they sat away from the group. She wished the words would just come to her, to say anything to comfort them. Nothing came to her, and it was frustrating enough for her to wrench her gaze away. But then she was faced with Sweetpaw's question, and any sort of buzzing in her came to a complete stop. What was she supposed to say? Those uncertain gazes felt concentrated on her, and she tried not to pick at her fur to wake herself up again. "W-We'll always be here for you." She struggled out, "but I understand your hesitance. It'd make me happy to be seen as your mom, but I won't force you to."
Divinepaw did not reply to Autumngossamer. She had hoped her question would frazzle her, but she had underestimated the former Soothsayer, she was not so easily riled. Given her background, it shouldn't come as a surprise... any SunClan cat that fell for such a weak taunt wouldn't last long. So, she just gave the she-cat she so resembled a simple nod, accepting her answer but not necessarily honoring it. Luckily the silence didn't last for long as Sweetpaw was the next to speak up.
"Are you serious--?" Divinepaw muttered under her breath, bristling, but before she made a fool of herself, Goldenphantom spoke up. Her eyes widened as she saw her mother give in to these SunClan cats. While even she had to admit that Autumngossamer and Lovesmitten had a valid claim over them, Sweetpaw and Harvestpaw should be nothing to Fia or Golden. They were not raised by them or shared any blood relation outside of a convoluted connection to their own adopted - or stolen? - kits. The ginger-and-white she-cat laughed sarcastically and got to her feet, "This is a waste of time."
And just like that, she was gone, having left the family gathering and then camp, hoping to find some clarity in solitude.

It was true, these kits were supposed to mean nothing. But maybe Divinepaw underestimated Goldenphantom's motherhood. These weren't the first kits to be taken under her wing, nor would they be the last. Whether they would accept her or not was up to them, but her attention was taken away as she heard Divinepaw say something before storming off. She didn't waste much time, standing up and approaching the entrance to follow her, "Divinepaw, wait."
"It's not their fault, Love and I had very moody, really raging hormonal teenage lives so it's no surprise. Honestly, I don't think it was a phase for me, pretty sure I never grew out of it," Autumngossamer said.
"I think having three moms would be really difficult," Harvestpaw admitted, rubbing his paw behind his head. Flawedperspective was the first mom he ever had. His earliest memories were of her. Autumngossamer was always a part of his life, but she was never very involved when he was tiny so he considered both to be mothers to him and Sweetpaw. "But I can consider you an aunt," He suggested to Goldenphantom and Fia Cendrillion.

"Yes, a new aunt and uncle sounds good." Princepaw purred in agreement as Goldenphantom skidded to a stop. The Immortal Council looked back and forth between Autumn, Love and Harvest. An aunt. She never had an aunt, not even aware if her father even had siblings. She supposedly did, somewhere, but they have never shown their faces. It wasn't mom, the sort of pedestal that she had pushed on herself for a long time, the thing she aspired to be. But it was better than nothing. "I'd really appreciate that, Harvestpaw."
"An aunt," Sweetpaw echoed. She wasn't thrilled about the association, but she would abide by anything Harvestpaw said. It wouldn't help anything to stir up dust right now, anyway. Divinepaw's departure did nothing but irritate her, and she wasn't going to follow that example. "Okay, I guess."
Harvestpaw felt the same way as Sweetpaw did about Divinepaw, irritated. It felt, wrong if not privileged for all of their siblings who had perfectly nice lives to suddenly run away like their whole life was over now that they. Oh no. Had a family in SunClan. What a betrayal it must be to have two parents that loved them in DayClan, who kept them away from evil to suddenly admit that they kept it a secret so a psychotic cult didn't kidnap them.
Mean while him and Sweetpaw were killed day one of their lives, had to struggle to get by with their curses, and had to put up with SunClan's antics including never being able to go to a gathering. It sucked and he was looking forward to having siblings who he could lean on, but instead everything was so much about them that they just left when it didn't go their way.
"So do they always run away from their problems or is that kind of a new thing?" Harvestpaw asked. He had been trying to be polite up until now, but Sweetpaw's disgust towards it was infectious.
"I'm sure they're just being self centered emo brats like Love and I were back in the day," Autumngossamer said, giving Lovesmitten a playful nudge to the shoulder.

Lovesmitten nodded in agreement, licking his mate's cheek "We just need to give them some time" All of this was new and shocking to them, so their reactions were understandable. Even if they didn't come around, he had already decided that he would just have to love them from afar. To watch out for them, without being directly involved unless they wanted him to be. He longed to be a good father to them, but that also meant putting his own personal feelings to the side for their happiness.
