Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Lex hadn't really talked to Unseenlights much. He knew her, knew that Dusky cared about her, well obviously, they'd gotten married. But really, he hadn't interacted with his daughter in law as much as he'd have liked. Today, that changed. He slipped into Post Kilo bearing a smile and a piece of the freshest prey he could catch. Nothing but the best. There was a smile on the tom's face, warm and welcoming, even though she couldn't see it, she was certain to feel the comforting energy. For a cat who had somehow gotten roped into the Eerie family, an ex-SunClan member, he was surprisingly normal. Fiercely protective, yes, but not nearly so chaotic or downright insane as the family could be.

Uneseenlights had been lightly sleeping, her little ones tucked in safely at he side. Duskslayer had been called away on patrol, but Unseenlights had been waiting on his return. At the sounds of soft footsteps, she lifted her her head, ears swiveling toward the source of the sound. Her mouth opened slightly to take in the scent, one that she had come to know as Lex's. She hadn't spent a whole lot of time with him, but everything seemed to be moving so fast since coming to the Renegade Regime. One moment she was trying, then the wedding, then the honeymoon, and now kits. Especially with Damek so sick, she hardly ever left her nest since their arrival "Hello Lex" she greeted, grooming on of the kit's on the head "Shule asked Duskslayer to go hunting, but he should be back soon"
"I thought I might bring you something to eat. You need to keep your strength up. Kits are hardly the easiest creatures to deal with." He mused, laughing softly and remembering Dusky as a kit. To say they were a rambunctious bunch was to state is very lightly. Not that he'd have had it any other way. "Are you able to get enough rest? I'm sure the Raisers would be happy to take them off your paws a moment if you need any help with anything. I'm always glad to kittensit if you need as well."

She dipped her head gratefully "Thank you for bringing me this, would you like to share?" her face felt flush, and she couldn't help but feel guilty for taking their food, especially something so large. After all the whole reason they had come to the Regime was because there were not enough capable hunters and the regime was starving, but they had been been rather generous with their food once they found out that she was expecting kits and since their birth "really I insist, I won't be able to eat it all and I'm sure Duskslayer will want bring something back from his hunt and want me to again when he returns" her fluffy tail moved to lay of the kits gently to help keep them warm. The raisers had offered to take her kits several times, but she hadn't been able to bring herself to let them take them. The whole concept was just really strange to her, for in SunClan the responsibility for caring for kits fell to the parents. The mother would care for them a majority of time, only resting or taking a break when the father or another queen would watch them for a while "I appreciate the offer, really.. I just..." she bent down and nosed Damek back to her side to suckle after he got pushed aside by his bigger siblings "With Damek being so sick, I'll rest easier having them with me"
