Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. Divinehope sat in the prison camp, an annoyed expression plastered to her face. She thumped her tail. She was awake but she couldn't tell if it was day or night due to being in the cavern. It had been a few days since she was captured and she still believed Divinemessenger had something to do with it. She kicked a pebble from the cavern floor out of frustration. The pebble flew through the air, bounced off the wall, and came back and hit her in the head. "Ow!" She squeaked, rubbing her head where the pebble hit. "I hate this place!" She stood and began pacing, feeling restless. She just wanted to feel the sun hot on her body, the wind through her whiskers, the earth under her paws. The cavern was always so cold and damp. What she would give to go outside.

Divinehope peeked his head into the cell where the SunClan Janus was being held. He wasn't supposed to be here, but it hadn't been all the hard to get rid of the guards, after promising that he would stand watch. After all they were big strong warriors who had better things to do than watch a kit, all he had to do is stroke their ego a bit and give them an excuse to leave "Well hurting yourself isn't going to get you out of here any faster, but maybe I could"
She turned a hostile glare at Divinemessenger. "What makes you think that I would want to go with you?" The fur on her hackles bristled. It was his fault she was in there. It had to be.

Divinehopelooked hurt, his ears falling backwards "Well that wasn't exactly the thanks I was expecting for busting you out of here" he looked down at the ground "I'm sticking my neck out just being here, if Flamingstar find out that I got rid of the guards I might as well be a crispy mouse"
"Your the one that got me in here, weren't you?" She growled. "You probably saw me getting close to the border and went to go get stronger warriors to kidnap me. I doubt you want to get me out. This is a trap, isn't it?"

Divinemessenger shook his head "Now why in StarClan's name would I do that? I haven't even been in NightClan until I heard a big commotion of them bringing some SunClan cat in for questioning. I was off exploring and arrived to find Spiderfang carrying you in"
She was embarrassed that he had brought up that she was being carried in. She scoffed, "If you say so. I just hope you haven't been exploring Sunclan territory. If Littlestar caught you, you'd be dead. Either by Littlestar or your own leader. Sunclan and Nightclan aren't on good terms right now if you haven't noticed. I know that when I get out of here, I'm going to be in so much trouble."

Divinemessenger chuckled "Of course I have, but it only matters if you get caught" he winked, nudging her gently with a paw "Now do you want to get out of here, or are you going to stand around here bickering with me?"
She took a breath as if she were considering her decision. After a long moment she nodded. "Fine. But this better not be some trick." She held her paw out for him to take the lead. "If Flamingstar catches us, I ain't taking the blame for you."

Divinemessenger rolled his eyes "You SunClan cats really need to loosen up, and trust a little bit. Not everyone is out to get you. If we get caught I'll probably be thrown in here right beside of you" he motioned for her to follow, taking her through one of the side tunnels instead of towards the main camp. There was a vast network of tunnels, many of them still unexplored. As they reached one of the tunnels that dipped downwards, their paws started to get wet until the water reached their bellies "We have to dive under, and reemerge on the other side of this bend. It's not far, so even as an inexperienced swimmer you should be able to do this fine, but it will through NighClan off of our scent. Most of them wouldn't try to swim like this"
Divinehope rolled her eyes before following Divinemessenger. As she followed, she kept a look out, constantly looking over her shoulder as if she expected someone to jump out at them. When they arrived at the water, Divinehope stopped. Suddenly she burst into laughter and wiped a tear from her eye. "Wow, I didn't know Nightclan cats were so funny! This is your plan? There is no way I'm getting my paws wet! Let alone my entire body! You Nightclan cats must be out of your mind!" Although, what he said did make sense. It would hide their scent but she was not a water cat. Cover her in mud, make her roll around in dirt, fine. But water? Forget it. She hated the way it made her feel not to mention it was chilly. Besides, she would like to be able to see her paws. In water, she can never be sure what is lurking around them and it freaked her out.

"Then you might as well turn back and return to the prison" he retorted, looking her straight in the eyes "This is the ONLY way out, other than waltzing right through camp. The cenote is designed to keep cats in" he paused looking back at the water "I'll be with you the whole way, and I have went this way many times to escape my father's wrath as an apprentice. The water is shallow, all you have to due is duck under and walk a few paces along the bottom to reach the other side" he placed his paws on her "You just have to trust me, we can do it together"
Divinehope was taken by surprise when Divinemessenger touched her paws. She felt something electrifying when they touched, like Divinemessenger sent electricity through her and immediately felt warm under her fur afterward. She hadn't ever felt anything like that before. Not even with Thirdwheel. She took a deep breath. She really didn't want to go back to the prison. She wanted to feel the sun on her fur again. She looked into Divinemessenger's eyes, searching for truth or deception. What she saw was honesty and truth. She closed her eyes and began wading through the water, cringing at it's shocking cold.

Seeing her walk forward, he smiled turning his attention back to the task at hand until they came to the point that they were going to need to go under. The bottom dipping out slightly, "Go ahead, I am right here beside of you' he let his fur brush up against hers 'Just go under and I will guide us both to the other side"
She looked at him, uncertainty in her eyes but she was comforted by him brushing against her. She wasn't sure about this but it was better than being stuck in the prisoner's camp. She took a breath and held it as she dunked herself under the water and began to blindly claw her way through.

Divinemessenger dove under beside of her, making sure to keep his pelt against hers to help guide her through. It was only a few moments, until he took his paw placing it under her chin and guided her upwards as they reached the other side
Divinehope reached the other side and immediately shook the water from her pelt. "Ugh. I'm wet" she frowned, looking at Divinemessenger with a trembling lip.
