Twilightkit giggled, pulling the pelt of the baby porcupine up over her small frame. The spines poked out dangerously, but the small kit was safe inside protected by the skin. She shambled toward the nursery "RAWR! I'm a monster!!!!!"
Midnightkit had been relaxing out in front of the nursery, let out a loud yelp as one of the spines jabbed him in the flank as she shambled around. "Ow!" He cried jumping away and hissing at Twilightkit. "What are you doing with that thing! You could hurt someone!" He snapped bristling, fur standing on end, back arched as he glared at her.

Twilightkit growled ferociously, not really understanding that she could in fact cause some serious damage. The worst part was that the pelt was so large that it engulfed her. She couldn't see where she was going, nor would it be easy for any of the adults to pick it up without getting quills in there paws "monsters eat kits" she declared continuing her march blindly forward growling and roaring the whole way

Astralkit was torn between playing along with the fun or darting out of the way of Twilightkit. She decided on the second option when she got a good look at the quills now covering the other kit. She didn't want to make Twilightkit upset or anything but she really could hurt someone with that thing. "Um, Twilightkit." She started, making sure she was a safe distance away "You definitely could hurt someone with that thing and I really don't want that person to end up being me."
