Plumkit darted after his siblings, trying hard to keep up even though he was a bit smaller. They were racing around camp for the third time that day and he was definitely feeling it. His legs were burning and chest heaving with effort. "Waaaait, you're too fast." He called after them, slowing down to watch their dust miserably.
Midnightkit had been sitting outside the nursery eyeing his denmates running around like a bunch of mice trapped in a circle. "What are you guys even doing? Your pattering of paws is sooooo annoying," He grumbled. "It's interrupting some of our naps!"

Plumkit's ears pricked at the sound of Midnightkit's voice and he trudged over. "They've been racing all day. Aren't they quick? I could never be that fast." Despite being disheartened and frankly exhausted, the small tom's voice was filled with admiration. "Sorry we disturbed your nap..."
Midnightkit let out a huff. "Well you're also not full grown. Besides they're running around in circles, see how fast you guys move out in the territory when you're apprentices and not disturbing cats naps." He said with a sigh as he shifted into a sitting position. "Are they just racing all day?" He muttered.

Plumkit gave a shrug and looked down. "I guess so. I wish they would play a game that we all could play, though." He admitted with a deep sigh. "Do you like to play?"
