His body was hardly visible beneath the underbrush. Subaru watched the clan mill about curiously. He had spent so much time watching them that he was probably beginning to adopt their scent. That meant that he really didn't need to sneak around as much as before. By the looks of it, he wasn't the only former rogue that had taken interest in the group. He recognized a few cats as they mingled with their clan, former rogues. This brought a small smile to his muzzle. At least there were some peaceful moments in the clans and it wasn't all drama and chaos.
With that, Subaru stepped out of the darkness and sat calmly by the bush, waiting until someone noticed him.
Frostwing set off to poke around in the territory for a scent trail. She wanted to contribute more to MoonClan since she'd just joined. As she began her search, she noticed a cat just sitting there by a bush. That was strange. "Why are you just standing there?" asked the silver tabby, tipping her head in curiosity. Her words were slow but not holding a joke nor venom. "Do you believe the prey will come to you? That is not something that Selene has done for me just yet."

Subaru's whiskers twitched in amusement and he dipped his head. "My bad. I was hoping a rabbit would just leap into my jaws. They usually do that where I'm from." His eyes flitted upwards to meet hers and he wore a lopsided smirk on his maw. "You clan cats sure are friendly with strangers."
Her whiskers twitched at the joke. Silly stranger. Frostwing liked the smile he wore. "Us clan cats? That implies you...aren't one?" She didn't bristle or tense, just continued watching him while moving a bit closer for a better smell. Huh. It didn't really match that of the cats in camp.

It was interesting how she interacted with him. There were many clan cats who weren't the least bit kind or trustful of loners that just wander into their territory. Moonclan was proving to be a solid choice afterall.
He let out a laugh and swept his tail across the earth in a casual motion. "Yeah, I guess you could say that. I'm hoping to be soon but I guess it just depends on if I'm a likable enough stranger, huh?"
She watched his tail move against the ground. He seemed relaxed. "You seem likable enough so far," Frostwing shrugged, head cocked in interest. "You're looking to join a clan then?"
