Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Lately, she had been working harder than ever. Shatteredshine had started to pick up on the duties her father was neglecting. It was small things at first: she took his apprentice out for a few training sessions, helped run apprentice assessments when the deputy was busy, led a couple more hunting patrols than she normally would. She was happy to help, and she loved getting to know her new clanmates. But then the apprentice exchange had happened, and Chim had neglected to speak to the new 'paws entirely, so she had taken it upon herself to do so. All of the work was beginning to wear her down to the bone.
After a long day where she'd led a hunting patrol and checked in with Luckypaw and the other SwiftClan apprentices that were living in SummerClan, Shatteredshine returned home to flop onto her side in the edge of the camp. She sighed in relief; finally, she was off her paws and given a chance to rest.
"Shatteredshine," the leader called as he passed by, "there you are, I've been looking for you all day. Can you find Beestripe and tell him to make me leader of the dawn patrol tomorrow?"
Biting back a groan, the she-cat nodded. "Of course, Uncle Chim."
