Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
These are the kittens of Ghostcrown and a rogue of mine, the Huntress. They're about a moon old, so they have the Fire zodiac. Feel free to change the names or whatever you want. They're just suggestions!
Spiritkit (ice) rped by ? -Personality: Natural leader, outgoing, egotistic
-Inherited fur patterns from Ghostcrown.
-She sees her future in SunClan, so she never really wonders what her mother was like.
Luxkit (ember) rped by Hals? -Personality: Prideful, confident, narcissistic
-He prides himself on his beautiful coat
-Loyalty is fleeting to him. He’ll go wherever as long as people appreciate/worship him.
Crowkit (shame) rped by woof -Personality: Kind, introverted, doubtful
-He lives in the shadow of his name and its meaning in SunClan, even if no one sees him in that light.
-He wants to leave but is too afraid of stepping beyond the borders. Again, it plays into his name.
Raykit (strike) rped by stardance -Fiery, quick-witted, stubborn
-She lacks a filter, and says anything that comes to her mind. She speaks faster than she thinks.
-She is relatively loyal, but has a love-hate relationship with the Sun God. She’ll insult him when she gets the chance, but would chide any apprentice/kit doing the same.
Desertkit (breeze) rped by racer -Personality: Curious, spacey, impractical
-He would much rather spend his time daydreaming and asking questions like ‘why do birds fly?’ than anything else.
-His allegiance goes with the flow.
She still remembered that night. It was embarrassing, to say the least. He found her hiding in a cave, and nine times out of ten would have cornered her, taken her back to SunClan, and that would have been the end. Instead, she had his kits. The Huntress was fine with carrying the weights around for as long as she did. In the end, they were payback for what he did to her. She knew about SunClan's laws on kits. They would have to take them in, and he'd be stuck with their issues.
Needless to say, she couldn't wait to be done with them. She sat the lively set of kittens down at the border and waited for someone to show up. Her scent and that of the kittens drifted downwind into the heart of SunClan's territory. It would be no time until she was free once again.
He had checked the cave a few times since the first day they met, always on the lookout for her. He wasn't expecting them to start a relationship, or to ever really be together; he didn't want it either. The Huntress wasn't his long-term mate and he was fine with that, but it would still be nice to see her once or twice more, just to be friendly. After a few moons, he was prepared to give up on the hunt, but as he stalked quietly through their land in search of prey he happened across her scent. He thought he imagined it, certainly the scent that accompanied her, but he chased it anyway.
"Huntress?" Ghostcrown trotted toward her and glanced down at the five kittens at her paws - noting one with a familiar black-and-white pelt. Oh. "I was wondering why you came back," he mused, the corner of his mouth quirking up.
The snow bengal kitten stared at her father approaching with wide eyes. Was that really him? She turned to her mother when he got close and said "Did you really choose him? You deserve someone much more handsome." She turned back to her father and looked him over again. "I really don't like his fur. It's just like Spirit's."
The Huntress chuckled at her kitten's comments. She certainly inherited her tongue, save for the filter that came with it. "He is fine. You'll be getting to know him well." The Huntress returned her eyes to Ghostcrown. "You shouldn't have to wonder. These are yours. And I mean yours." She pushed the snow bengal towards him with a shove. "This one is Ray. I'm sure you appreciate the name."

Desertkit looked up at their father with eyes wide with wonder. He had spent so much time asking about their father, that seeing him now only seemed to fill him with more questions. He bounded over to Ghostcrown, circling around and inspecting him from top to bottom not paying any attention to personal space. She pawed at his legs and belly, standing up on her back legs to look into his ears "Hi I'm Desert! What's your name? You got big paws, does that mean I am going to have big paws? Momma said you lived on the sun, is it hot there? I bet its really hot!! How do you get there? Do you fly like a bird? Oh no you must be able to teleport! Only a guy that can teleport would be good enough for momma"
Ghostcrown laughed at the little kitten, his eyes sparkling as he looked at The Huntress. "What poison have you been putting into my kits' ears? Don't listen to her, I'm incredibly handsome," he told Raykit. "You'll understand that once we get to the clan and you meet everyone else. You've just been spoiled so far because your mother is so beautiful... some cats say she looks almost as good as I do."
He winked at the she-cat. "Raykit, huh? And I thought you didn't like me and my names. You're much sweeter than you let on, you know," he accused, "almost sentimental. But I won't tell anyone." He bent down a little to make it easier for Desertkit to examine him, holding back another exciting laugh for fear of knocking her over. "Hi, Desert! I'm Ghostcrown. I do live in SunClan, but we don't live on the Sun, he gets upset if we do that. We just order him around and make him do whatever we want. If you're very nice, I'll let you attack his tail and warm up your nest every leaf-bare," he told her. "As for your paws," he caught her carefully as he turned and held up one of her paws, "I bet they're going to be giant!"
Once more Ghostcrown looked up at The Huntress, amused her kits adored her so much. They had to come with him, but would she really be abandoning them? "Are you going to come with us?" he asked her softly. "Into the clan?"

Deserkit grinned "That's no fun I wanted to go to the sun!!!" he wailed, poking out his bottom lip "I don't care if the sun get's mad, I want to walk in the fire!" his eyes brimmed with questions, not really giving their father much of a chance to get a word in "When you take me to see the sun, I'll just make him take me the there " he decided "since you can make him do whatever you want, then you can do that!"
The Huntress rolled her eyes. He was never short on complements, and ways to redirect them to himself. "I'm not abandoning them. I'm handing them off. They've always known that they'd live with their father." She felt somewhat remorseful for leaving them with their father in his Clan, but those were her ways, the methods she believed. "Remember how I said that I have traveled beyond the desert? My group's mothers gave up their kits at one moon old. Normally, they went to a training camp, but your Clan will have to do." She let go of Ray and let her walk over to her father. "Besides, I'm not welcome in your Clan."
Ray squealed as she was pushed forward by her mother. The snow bengal kitten glared angrily back at her mother. "Well, you didn't tell me I'd have to look at this pile of mouse dung for the rest of my life! Ugh!" She pouted around her father before sitting down next to him.
Ghostcrown sighed. He knew he was capable of raising them all on his own, but he would have liked to have their mother in their lives nonetheless. It wasn't like he was planning on taking a mate anytime soon, so they might never have that motherly figure, but he would just have to love them twice as hard to make up for it. He understood that even if the clan accepted her the Huntress would never be happy with their lifestyle, and he was simply glad to have his little family to look after.
"I'll raise them well," he promised, "better than any training camp. Come back someday and see them, I'll prove it to you." Then he looked fondly down at his kittens once more. "Are you sure you can't take Ray with you? She's already bullying me and we just met," he complained. "I like you, Desert. I'll talk to the Sun God and we'll get you plenty of fire soon," he promised.
While it seemed heartless, she truly did care for the kittens. She shrugged and pushed the remaining kits over to him. "We'll see about that. If I don't think they are being raised properly, I'll come back for them." The Huntress waved her tail at the kits as she turned her back. "Goodbye, little ones. I'm sure we'll meet again someday." With that she walked away from her kittens without giving them as much as another look.
Ray looked up and down her father one more time. "Eh, I guess you aren't half bad. What's your name? I think you look like a Silver, or maybe a... something else. I dunno."

Desert purred warmly "You best not forget!" the little tom stated, but was already looking out towards SunClan's territory with interest before bounding off towards one of the cactus "I havn't seen a tree like this one before!! It's so little"
Ghostcrown wanted to watch the Huntress go, but he was distracted by Ray's comment. He beamed down at her. Her opinion of him was improving already! He was going to be a great father. "You're close! My name is Ghostcrown," he replied cheerily, "and don't get too close to that, Desert! It might look a little fuzzy, but it's very prickly!"

"Pri--ka---leeee" he drew out the word into exaggerated syllables as if her were mulling over its meaning studying the little tree with great interest, bobbing his head up and down and using his paw to measure its height, lifting and raising it as if comparing against something unseen "Alright little Prickles" he fell into a play bow, finally deciding that prickly was it's name as he bounced back and forth his paw reaching out to touch it
