Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"Not everyone is on the same page right now, and these differences are causing people to forget how much they truly care about each other"
The words of her horoscope echoed in her mind over and over again, as she fought to open her heavy eye lids. The last thing she could remember was falling asleep in tunnels after giving birth to her twelve newborns. She had been nursing them, and with Oakshade curled up around her she had felt comfortable enough to sleep even outside of the nursery...
Everything around her was blurry and out of focus, but the lack of warmth was alarming. She tried to turn, but was greeted with being choked. Her front paws shot to her throat, only to realize there was something tight around her neck holding her to cold stone wall with only a short chain in between. She moved back into position, the pressure on her windpipe releasing. It wouldn't allow her stand. She tried raising her back end only to find that something had been wrapped around her belly just before her hindquarters keeping her firmly in place.
She tried to scream for help, but something had been jammed into her jaws and tied around the back of her head. She could breathe through her nose, but her voice was muffled and her jaws aching. Actually most of her was aching. Her limbs lacked any strength, her sides cramping and releasing from giving birth, and her underbelly felt like it was heavy and on fire. The milk that she was producing for her newborn leaking out onto the moss that someone had placed under her.
She struggled against her bonds, but the pain and utter exhaustion was to much and she soon collapsed back into the moss. Still trying to make sense of her current situation, but the combination of exhaustion and herbs that Bloodyrondo had given her made it impossible to think clearly.
"I don't like this," came the quiet murmur from around the corner of her sight. "She just gave birth to her kits, and they're going to need her soon. What if this doesn't work, how long do we hold her?"
"She'll come."
"And if she doesn't?"
"'Not everyone is on the same page right now,'" a moody voice mimicked their horoscope - the same as their prisoner's. There was a scuffle and a heavy thump as someone hit the offending warrior.
The muttering went on for a while until finally, it eased away as a decision was made. A dark-furred cat appeared from around the bend in the darkness and trotted toward the queen, a vole held carefully in her jaws, along with a strange green-and-white plant.
"Eat this," Crowluminescence ordered, her voice blank and toneless. "It's food, to keep your strength up, and borage. Possibly borage," she amended. Herbs were not any of their strong suits. "Sit tight and we'll have you out of here soon, once we have what we need from you."
She turned around to walk away and leave Tinymutiny alone once more.

The Underestimated
As she ceased struggling, she began to listen to the quiet mummers. She knew these voices, but couldn't place a face or name with the voice. It sounded like there were at least three of them, but the voices were so muffled that it was near impossible to figure out what they were speaking about until suddenly it went quiet, save for the single set of footsteps that were approaching. She tensed, tail lashing as the dark furred cat approached... Crowluminescence.
Her memories flashed back to a memory that she hadn't thought of since she was a kit, a dream that she had told Foxbane about only to be paralyzed and punished. She had pushed the dream to back of her mind, choosing to forget so that she wouldn't be punished. This wasn't the first time she had seen Crowluminescence, but it was only now that she realized that this was one of the cats in her dream... The three cats that were trying to kill her mother, the ones that sounded like birds. Her eyes widened in recognition, as the cat released the gad so that she could eat. She quickly spit out the leaves that had been shoved into her mouth, but before she could speak the cat was gone
Sydney wasn't really a fan of using someone's kits to get to a target. Especially a new mother. But she couldn't argue it's effectiveness. It would get Foxbane here, she could guarantee it. Whether anyone would leave alive was another matter entirely. "It shouldn't be long now." The exceptionally tall feline stated, just out of sight of Tinymutiny, her voice low so as not to be heard.
And she wasn't wrong. Foxbane had noticed Tinymutiny missing quickly, and it took her almost no time at all to realize who had done it. To say there was no love lost between herself and her grandkits, whom she'd more or less adopted and raised despite knowing their future, was the understatement of the century. They would kill each other. And either some of them would come out of it alive, or Foxbane herself would. Well, the Senator wasn't taking a single chance to ensure herself and her daughter lived through this. She didn't explain anything of what she was doing or why, but she spend a short while walking the territory, picking herbs. Forcing herself to think through this. Forcing herself to not just rush in, despite the fact her blood was absolutely boiling. She would kill them. Now, more than ever before, she was certain of that fact. Eventually, she'd have to explain this to Littlestar, she supposed, at some point, if they turned up dead or went missing, undoubtedly she'd be asked. And either she'd have to lie, again, or she'd have to explain. Well, she was at a point where she hardly cared what the Sun God said, or did.
She coated her claws carefully in the poison. It wasn't a pleasant mixture, paralytic mixed with just enough poison to ensure the most painful death she could inflict with minimal damage. And then she set off for the tunnels, following her daughter's scent with lethal intent, moving slowly, surely, with a notable darkness in her ivy gaze. Anyone who messed with Tinymutiny would regret it.
"COWARDS" Tinymutiny hissed after them, her voice echoing through the tunnels, but she was already getting drowsy once more. The herbs she had been fed taking effect. She looked over at the wall that her binds were firmly attached to, blinking trying to figure them out so that she could escape or at least try to fight back. She tugged gently at the binds testing their strength with the limited strength left to her, but they didn't budge. She wouldn't be able to overpower them, but maybe just maybe she might be able to outsmart them "You need to let me out of here" she called loudly, knowing very well the other cat's would be able to hear her "I have newborns back at camp, twelve of them. If they die because of your arrogance Littlestar will have your HEADS"
She wasn't wrong, but once glace between the siblings and they all knew without the words being spoken. This was a dangerous game to play. If they failed, it would cost their lives, and likely the lives of their guardians as well. If they succeeded, their clan might take their lives as penance, if Foxbane's family didn't get to them first. But they had all agreed their second lives were easily forfeited for this goal. It wasn't just vengeance, it was destiny, it was justice.
Hearing Sydney speak, Lustercrow turned to look at her and nodded his assent. "Then let's get ready." The dark tom headed further into the tunnels. They had chosen to stay underground because the tunnels offered only a few entrance points and their black coats blended with the darkness in the den; though they were small and difficult to maneuver in, the main cavern that held Tinymutiny was wide enough to hold all of them.
Lustercrow melted into the shadows to hide in wait, and Luminescentcrow did the same; Lightcrown, on the other hand, headed over to wait by the prisoner's side. "Be quiet," she told her sharply, though her eyes betrayed her doubts, "or we'll kill all your kits ourselves. They'll be fine otherwise, just be patient."
