Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Poalrblast's family only please. This thread will be him bringing his kits into the camp and then publicly disowning them to his family, and more importantly to his mother. You're welcome t react however you want to it happening. 1bitterchildcheapbonesneverstarstarPhantomConsuela
Polarblast had been gifted the three kits by there mother when out on patrol. He'd come across her with his other two companions while covering the border. Then the DayClan she-cat had dropped off the three small bundles and left, saying they were his problem now. But he didn't want these kits. At all. They were full blooded WinterClan cats and there fore weren't worthy of his bloodline or for him to act as their father. But WinterClan needed kits, and that was the only reason he'd signed up for the blind dating event with DayClan to begin with. Otherwise, he'd have only settled for a full blooded WinterClan she-cat to be his mate and bear his kits. Mother would not be pleased with this, she hadn't been when she'd foudn out about him signing up for the event in teh first place.
Glancing down at the three kits at his paws, he waited for his family to gather. This was a family affair and he'd make sure tos tate his position on what was happening with his-the kits.
Cenitpedepaw entered the camp, his steps careful as always, as if ready for an attack. He had just wrapped on another day of training and was ready to a well deserved rest, but the sight of his older brother, Polarblast caught his interested enough to pause. Not having much of a relationship with his older brother due to old strifes between him and his mother, Centipedepaw would have not bothered to approach the tom, but the sight of 3 small bundles of fur made him pause longer, looking on with interest. After a few long moment of internal quarrel, Centipedepaw finally stepped in the direction of his older brother, his eyes locked onto what looked like 3 young kits.
"Polarblast." Centipedepaw remarked quietly, his gaze never leaving the kits since the moment he spoke. His brow furrowed, revealing the only emotion he was feeling inside, confusion. "Whose are these?" He asked carefully, finally looking up to Polarblast with interest. "Did you find them out on a patrol?" He looked back down, squirming backwards a hint as one of the sprawling kittens made a sudden movement and loud mew.
Centipedepaw jumped back at the sudden and loud wail that escaped a small, grey and black striped kit that fell to the dirt below. He stared on in surprise, but noted the uncanny resemblance to Polarblast. In the moment it hit him, he stared back up at his older brother, his pale yellow eyes wide in surprise as he awaited the answer he now knew.
Toxicpaw slipped in beside her brother, rolling her eyes as he flinched when the kit let out its wail. "Why are you so scared, are you afraid it's gonna try to eat you?" She let out a soft yet mocking laugh and turned to Polarblast and the kits that sat at his paws. She had caught the tail end of Centipedepaws question regarding who they belonged to and let her large amber eyes move between them and her elder brother a few times, waiting for his answer before speaking again.
Northwind spent her days doing whatever it took to avoid the majority of her family, but it seemed today something was happening within their dysfunctional bloodline. Her ears swiveled as her 'paw siblings spoke to and questioned Polarblast, it wasn't until she head the wail of the kit that she got to her paws and moved closer. Why did he of all cats have kits with him, were the kits okay? Worried for their saftey above all else she pushed aside her dislike for Polarblast and approached, lowering herself to the kits' level as soon as she was beside them, she couldn't see them but they smell strongly of Dayclan and Winterclan. "It's okay little one." She purred in a soft voice to Snowkit.
Centipedepaw's expression hardened at his sister's unexpected and out of the blue comment, his ears falling slightly in shame and annoyance. Not one to continue confrontation, Centipedepaw remained silent, staring at the kit with quiet concern just as Northwind stepped into the fray. Finally, another adult who might have an inkling of what to do....
Polarblast stared at his siblings, not glancing at the kits. But now he needed to answer some questions least they get louder and draw unwanted attention. "They're mine, though I won't be claiming them. A mere result of the clan's latest affairs with DayClan. Their mother dropped them off and now they belong to WinterClan as future warriors. Hopefully, they'll be worthy of that right." He wouldn't claim them as his, but he'd acknowledge that WInterClan was in need of cats and thus of warriors. And these kits were born for that sole purpose.

Stormsurge had been made aware of her son's appearance, and was now haughtily padded up to him, looking a bit like a lionness during a hunt. There was coldness in her gaze usually reserved for her other kits. But never Polarblast. However, she'd caught the admission they're mine. Disgraceful.
Tundrafreeze and Aurorashine had bounded up at the sight of a family gathering, taking their places as the buffer between the youngest litter and their angry mother. Dartpaw, small and lean and nervous, gratefully stepped behind the older siblings, knowing this wasn't going to go well. Where was their father? He'd help surely.
Northwind fought the urge to retreat as their mother approached, instead remaining at eye level with the kits despite not being able to actually see them. She could tell they were nervous and if things didn't pan out well she wanted to be ready to remove them quickly.
Basiliskvenom had been dozing when the voices of his mate and kits reached him, opening his eyes he looked at the growing group and got to his paws. "Whats all this then?" His deep voice bellowed as he slid in between Aurorashine and Tundrafreeze, giving each a caring look and small nod before setting sights on the kits at Polarblasts paws. "Oh my, look at them! What fine looking kits, where did they come from son?" He had missed the confession of who they belonged to, but as expected was openly joyous that they were there even not knowing who they belonged to.
Toxicpaw smirked when their father joined in, slightly disgusted by the way he was acting about the half-breeds before them. "Go ahead Polarblast, tell him who they belong to." She shot a stinging look to her older brother.
Polarblast sneered at his little sister and student. "They are of my blood, dropped off by their mother from DayClan. But worry not, I won't be claiming them as mine. Some random queen can raise them, nurture them however she wants. They are not mine. I publicly disown them!" Those last words were spoken while making eye contact with his mother, making sure she understood he didn't want these kits. If they hadn't have shown up while he was out on patrol, personally dropped off by their mother into his paws, he wouldn't have claimed that they were of his blood. But there were too many witnesses on that patrol to get away with that. "They are merely the result of the repopulation plan created by Wintrystar in order to create an alliance with DayClan. May they grew to worthy of our Clan, but they will never be mine."

Aurorashine visibly relaxed when their father joined them, it usually ensured Stormsurge was on her best behavior. Because, terrible and heartless as she may seem, she truly had feeling for their kindhearted father. The young warrior winced at her brother's words and slipped away from Tundrafreeze and towards the kits, seeing their discomfort. Dartpaw, not wanting to be in view of his mother, crouched and looked at the kits with a kind expression.
Stormsurge shot a frustrated look at her mate before turning attention again to her traitor of a son. "They are still your blood," she responded, voice like ice. "They are your mistake, and now you seek to unload half-bred kits on a WinterClan queen? Polarblast, how have I raised you so wrong?" Why would he ever had taken these kits in? Why did he, as well as most of her older kits, joined that half-baked idea to repopulate? It diluted their blood and as she gazed down at the kits, all her venom and disappointment was in that gaze.
Northwind flinched at her brothers words and instinctively reached forward to grab the kits before things got worse. Aurorashines scent grew closer and she felt some of the tension fade. "Help me get them away." She whispered to her sister before grabbing Snowkit by the scruff.
Toxicpaw huffed, a smile visible as Stormsurge berated Polarblast for his stupid mistake, it served him right.
Basiliskvenoms eyes widened with every word that passed between his son and mate, the large tom didn't get angry often but it was clear by the look on his face that he wasn't pleased. "Whether it was a mistake or not these kits are here now, and they are innocent in the matter." He shot Stormsurge a look of disappointment. "They may not carry full Winterclan blood, but it still flows through them therefore we will welcome them openly!" He turned back to Polarblast, his eyes flashing between anger and disappointment, it was a sight that thus far none of his children had been given.

Aurorashine nodded, though knowing her sister couldn't see, and grabbed one of the kits. Dartpaw grabbed the other and purred a bit, trying to calm the kits during a tense situation.
Stormsurge rounded on her mate, voice firm, "you know very well the traditions and climate in WinterClan. Yet you seem to think I'm the one who decided these kits were not welcome?! The clan has standards, standards our son broke. It does not reflect poorly just on us or him, but also on these kits. Polarblast," she shot him a glare, "has made life very difficult for these kittens. If he would have thought this through, perhaps they could have been spared."
How would he pull himself out of this one? Would mother ever forgive him? His heart sank, his spirit broke. Just...just what was he to do? Polarblast had always been momma's perfect little boy and he'd broken away from that image. But now, he didn't know who he was or what to do. Mother had always led him and he'd only agreed to be apart of the dating event for the better of WinterClan, for their numbers. He hadn't thought further than his WinterClan duty, but that was wrong? What was right? Groveling to his mother, dropping to his belly and lowering his ears, the massive tom begged forgiveness, not from his father, his siblings, his kits, but from his mother. Always from mother.
Meanwhile, Nightkit stared on, her life in chaos before her. Just what was happening? What would happen? She was tugged along by her newfound aunts. All she could do was stare, stare as her father who she'd only just met fell to his belly and begged the anger she-cat before them all.
Basiliskvenom let out a sigh and slowly his anger faded. "Hard or not, the kits are here now and there isn't much to be done about it, as their blood and family we can only support then and lead them to become great soldiers, I hope at least that is something we can agree on." With that the large tom turned and began to follow his two daughters as they carried the kits away, leaving Polarblast to grovel at Stormsurges paws. neverstarstar
Northwind grunted as Snowkit spat and wriggled in her jaws, it had been hard enough carrying the kit while she couldn't see, or scent clearly with him so close to her, but his movements made the task much more difficult. As the kit yelled out, cursing his father she lifted her head to give him a quick jolt. "Hold still." She hissed in a muffled but stern tone. Once they were closer to the nursery with a large enough distance between them and the others she dropped the kit and flexed her claws into the ground. "There, now you can move all you like, but you will not leave this area. Understand?" She couldn't see Snowkit or the others, but her hazy amber eyes were trained on them as if she could. 1bitterchild

Basiliskvenom's words meant nothing to her but she made a mental note to fight this out privately later, he shouldn't contradict her in front of the kits. Still, Stormsurge seemed unconcerned by the groveling, untouched by the sadness of her once-favorite kit. Instead, she turned to Toxicpaw, "you tell me how you would have approached such a situation." Phantom
Tundrafreeze rolled his eyes, it seemed Stormsurge had picked a new favorite.
Aurorashine and Dartpaw deposited the other kits beside Snowkit, both somber as they half-listened to Stormsurge. Aurorashine looked to her father for guidance, "what do we do with the kits? Stormsurge won't want them around."
Toxicpaw all but ignored her fathers presence, not even noticing the tom leave as she stood beside her mother, her head lifted in such a way that it seemed she was looking down on Polarblast. Her ears swiveled at her mothers question and she let out a snort before peeling her amber orbs off of her brother. "If it had been in my control there wouldnt be a situation." She stated matter o'factly. It was as simple as that, her brother said he did it for the good of the clan but what good did it do Winterclan by bringing in half-breed kits. "They shouldn't have been brought here, even if they do survive all they are going to do is pollute the whole of Winterclans future generations with weak blood." Her tone was sharp, bitting cold much like Stormsurges. neverstarstar
Northwind let out a sigh as she listened to the conversation behind them, yet another sibling that was beyond saving. "I suppose there must be at least one from each litter." She shook her head slowly.
Basiliskvenom looked at the four of his children who had walked away with him, turning to face Aurorashine directly as she spoke. "We take care of them, I'll be relying on the four of you to help until I can figure something out." He knew it would be hard, but if he could find a queen with a small litter or a she-cat in the clan who was expecting then the kits would stand a better chance. "Northwind, Tundrafreeze, Aurorashine..." he look at each in turn. "You three will be these kits biggest support." He then turned to Dartpaw and smiled. "You need to focus on your training, but I would like you to spend time with them when you're free."

(current favorite, so she's being tested xD)
Stormsurge nodded, pleased by the answer. She turned back to Polarblast, "get up," she growled. "You've shamed this family not once, not twice, but three times today. There is nothing to be done for it now. Ignore these kits or don't, but we all know they are yours. I'm not sure how you'll recover in our eyes."
Aurorashine nodded, "of course, we'll take care of them." Tundrafreeze nodded his agreement and glanced over at the others, "Stormsurge won't be pleased. But I think she'll come around if the kits show some... desirable traits."
Centipedepaw had done a great job of hiding in the shadows of his older siblings, strategically avoiding the on-slaughter his parents provided Polarblast. As disppointed as he began to grow in his older brother, he couldn't help but put his attention on the kits who where hundled up in a mixture of confusion and anger. Though he agreed largely with his family's concern for blood, his heart couldn't help but go out to the kits, though there was no way he would ever say that outloud. Still, he remained close to the litter, staying clear of his family's conversation all together. His litter mate, Toxicpaw, was doing all the talking for him, all he had to do was give the others the space to talk.
Polarblast couldn't believe his mother, well more likely he could but not that her words were directed at him. He'd always been her favorite. But now...now what was he? Was he ranked below Aurorashine and Northwind? Lower than that? Where was he in her eyes?! He couldn't live knowing he'd disappointed her. "Mother! Mother, what do I do? I've gone wayward in my ways. how do I come back to you, to the clan and their ways?" He pleaded, begged, anything to become her favored once more.
