Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
“Come on slowpokes! I’ll race you!” Aurorakit called over her shoulder to her litter-mates, usually the she-kit was soft-spoken or completely quiet but today of all days she had woken up confident in her non-existent skills, and was certain that she could beat all of her litter-mates in a race. All she needed to cement that self assurance was to actually do it. “First one to the camp entrance wins!” she shouted, already taking off.
"You're on!" Twilightkit was right on Aurorakit's heels as the two of them bounded across the sun-baked sandstone. It was a blisteringly hot day and he was panting, the edge of his pink tongue hanging out the side of his mouth. The breeze created by the race cooled him right down though and, like any kit, he was glad to expend the energy, especially since no one was breaking any rules for once.
When he saw in opportunity to get ahead of his sister he slowed down, letting Aurorakit continue to take the lead. He knew this win would mean more to her than it would for him. He was not competitive in nature and had enough fun just participating.

Even at the mention of the race, Duskkit's expression didn't change. His brief morning quiet of getting to bask in the Sun's rays was somewhat broken. Now the world shook in front of his eyes as if waves were breaking up the air in front of him. He took a few steps, far behind his other 2 siblings, but attempted to run after them. The sentiment only lasted a few moments as his front paws gave out from underneath him, now pushing his upper torso along the ground as his back legs didn't get the message to stop. As if his legs moved on their own will, but Duskkit only let out a small huff as he tried to stand up again.

Brightkit stared after the two racing kits, only raising up to her paws after a few moments had ticked by. Even then she wasn't in a hurry as she strolled in their direction "not to bad, but you both could go a lot faster" she smiled mischievously looking between the two
