“Cleaver - 11 Flirt with a Stranger w/ Condorstrike” Honeystorm
After living in the clan for two moons, he admitted to himself that he could not avoid her any longer. Thunderstorm's son had told him she was alive back when Condorstrike first joined the clan, but he also mentioned what happened to Emberstar. Condorstrike struggled to forgive himself for leaving his brother like that, and he doubted the rest of his family would either, so he had kept his head low and managed to escape any long conversations with the she-cat. He knew it was childish.
Today was the end of it. He asked a couple of warriors to send the she-cat his way if they found her, and then Condorstrike waited just outside of the camp, his paws tucked beneath his chest and his eyes closed. He looked almost asleep until he heard someone approaching and lifted his head.

The SummerClan she-cat sort of kept to herself, more or less. She was a garden keeper, and had settled into her life in the clan long before. She highly considered moving to SwiftClan, but truly, this was home now. Pintempest was here, Motyxiatoxin and Seasparkleflash too. She wouldn't admit it, but she still missed Emberstar.
Hearing about Condorstrike looking for her was an interesting thing. She'd heard about Foxbane breaking up with him, and honestly, she was relieved he'd finally gotten out from that, by whatever means it had happened. She didn't hesitate to go see him. And soon, the dusty orange feline was standing before him, black paws brushing the ground softly as she came to a stop. She smelled of herbs and earth and water, all too familiar from her youth in WaterClan, but now twinged with telltale SummerClan scent to remind anyone this wasn't the past any longer. "Long time no see. How are you doing, Condorstrike?" There was no traces of ill will in her voice, despite knowing full well he'd been avoiding her. She offered a small smile, hazel eyes sparkling softly, though it seemed to be missing a flicker of the light that had always been there. So minute, it was easy to miss, but even with all this time apart, the tom before her would likely note the change.
He had seen her around camp, but having her stand in front of him was entirely different. He opened his eyes to see she had walked in from a past life, beautiful and familiar and even friendly, and the resurgence of a dozen moons of unfelt emotions threatened to overwhelm him. It wasn't just the rush of memories of all the times they'd had together; once again he was realizing everything he had missed out on when he left his clan and everything that might have been if he had stayed. She looked older now, but she was still her, still the cat he had grown up with, and though he felt something was off he couldn't quite place it.
"Honestly, I feel better than I have in more moons than I count," he admitted, and there was still guilt in his voice. Not even the birth of his kits had made him feel this right though he knew they should have made him want to move heaven and earth to protect them. "Things are still difficult, but I was trapped for so long without realizing it, just being free means everything to me. You knew that, though, both of you. Everyone told me not to leave, but I didn't listen." Condorstrike paused to chase away the memories. He hadn't called her here to reminisce. Instead, he focused on the surge of affection he felt when he looked into her smile.
"Thunderstorm, I can't explain to you how sorry I am I wasn't here for you both. I should have been a better member of the family, I should have been more aware of everything. I left you to grieve alone, and that is inexcusable." Now he understood what was different about her, and his words guided him to look her in the eye and see the spark that had died within them. "But I promise if you'll have me I will never leave you like that again. I'm here now, to talk, to support you, to be a family again."
