Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.

The Nemesis was near the creek, just east of Mirror Lake. It trickled from the mountains, providing cool, fresh water to the lake, which was beginning to frost over in the evenings. Briefly, Vera wondered why the past leader, Quartet, had ever decided to move the league away from this territory. It was arguably perfect for them: the thick, twisted trees, the darkness that coated the land, the blood that marked the borders.. And the ruins upon which they slept - how symbolic. Her bengal head lifted from its position, her chartreuse eyes scanning the dark landscape before her. It was paradise.
It weighed heavily on her heart to know that she would have to do the same thing.

[ gee thanks xD ]
Aconite sat in the shadows that loomed like stalking predators in the background. The white she-cat with black tabby stripes seemed to move with the shadows. A technique learned from her mother. A skill her grandmother taught her. Much more difficult for a black cat to train a white cat. Though she guessed it gave her own mother an upper paw in training her before she lost her mind. Aconite watched Vera. She had not had a single one on one encounter with the legend since returning to her roots. She had too keep her lineage a secret. That was hard to do when questioned. She had spent a good amount of time in the league now that she assumed the leadership would have little reason to second guess her.
"Vera E'tani." She meowed above a whisper remaining in the shadows paces away from the creeks reach.

"Nothing. You just seem distant. Thoughtful." The hunter took a few steps from the shadows. The thought of being much closer making her skin itch. "Murmurs have crossed the ears of the league that we will be leaving."

"Listening to rumors is the sign of a small-minded gossiper," Vera E'tani responded harshly, narrowing her eyes. After a moment, however, her shoulders loosened up a bit, and her cold stare dropped away. "Everyone will know in good time, but it doesn't take a genius to figure out why we could potentially be leaving."

"Perhaps if I simply took those rumors for facts it would be small minded. I suppose I shouldn't expect anything of bringing it to the only cat who would really know." she nodded. "Yes no one would blame a cat for wanting to leave under such circumstances."

"It isn't a matter of wanting," she responded coldly, her chartreuse gaze sharpening to that of a razor blade. "If life was all about doing what we wanted, we would all be in very different places. Other forces are at play here; factors which cannot be ignored. It's a choiceless decision."
