Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
(This patrol is Burningstar, Leopardblossom, and Cypresspaw going through the now conquered SpringClan territory to see whether this territory could be of use for them)
It had been a few days since NightClan had defeated SpringClan, and SunClan had taken the clan prisoner. Thus leaving SpringClan's territory now unoccupied.
So Burningstar set up a small camp there, for NightClan cats who were interested in exploring the territory and seeing if there was anything useful for them.
She would be leading one such patrol while Smallspiral took another.
Deciding they could see the territory best during the day, she'd allowed her warriors (and a few apprentices who wanted to explore as well) to sleep through to the next day after they'd arrived.
With the sun now shining over head Burningstar slipped out of one of the dens and moved to stand in the center of the camp. "Leopardblossom, Cypresspaw, come join me. It's time we go see what this territory we've conquered has to offer us."

"This'll be fun." Meowed a thin spotted she-cat as she padded forward quickly to join Burningstar. Leopardblossom purred as she came to a haul next to her. "Are expecting anything on this patrol?"
"I'm more just hoping to get a lay of the land, I doubt we'll be occupying this territory long term. But I'm hoping we can find something of use to us. Or perhaps as a location to use as a pawhold against WinterClan." Burningstar meowed.
That had been one of her selling point for conquering SpringClan. IT gave them a pawhold in the mountain clans, especially by WinterClan who had stolen some of their cats and was holding them prisoner. Burningstar hadn't been able to resolve it yet, but this now was the perfect opportunity to start planning accordingly.
Burningstar waved her tail. "But for now we're just taking it in, seeing if we can find anything of interest, note, or potential use. Maybe even some herbs we can take back. We can always use those, though it'll be a journey to carry them all." She mused.
The slender grey and white apprentice padded up to Leopardblossom and Burningstar. "I doubt SpringClan has anything better than we do, I mean, after all they weren't even able to defend themselves." She said with a yawn. "I also heard they have quite a large territory, it's going to be challenging to patrol all of it and keep WinterClan off." she added with a shrug.

"Maybe they lost because they ate too much plump prey. I bet their territory is full of fat fluffy rabbits." she purred as Cypresspaw joined them. "Ready to go?" she looked back at Burningstar expectantly.
(Sorry for taking so long guys, work has been awwwfffulll)
Burningstar nodded, "Let's be off, we'll go along the rogue lands by the mountain before making our way along the other clans lines. I'm not sure whether SummerClan or well... FallClan holds that border." Or if there even was a border. FallClan had gone... rather silent. They'd been absent at the last gathering. And she wondered what could've happened to them. "So let's be off! Exploration awaits!" The ginger she cat purred before taking the lead and leading them out of the camp. The land was a lot different more meadows. Even some surprisingly hardy flowers that could last despite the harsh leafbare weather.
Cypresspaw nodded in response and followed after Burningstar, her excitement actually beginning to pick up. "Have either of you ever been to the mountain before today?" she asked.
Burningstar chuckled, "We do have a mountain on our border, it divides our land and the lands that BrookClan and EarthClan roam." Burningstar meowed. "And I've crossed it a few times to visit our allies in BrookClan," She said leading the way towards the mountain in the distance that made up a portion of SpringClan's border.
"The climb is really quite treacherous," Burningstar said. "AT least the fast way. But there is a safer route that does take much longer, like the route we took to get to here." She said as they'd had to cross the range of mountains, but there was a nice pass that led out of the main gathering place that they'd been able to take to make it less treacherous.
"So for safety's sake you have to take the safer route, but yes, it can mean you have to be wary of other creatures taking the route too. Like Foxes I imagine." Burningstar meowed
"We shouldn't," Burningstar reassured her. Leading the patrol along, she did though keep her senses peeled. Though she'd reassured Cypresspaw, she did keep her awareness about her. After all, with SpringClan gone, their markers were growing stale, and the small NightClan presence was not enough to keep the strong scent of cat present in this area. There was a possibility of them running into creatures like that.
But fortunately they made it to SummerClan's border without issue. Burningstar chuckled despite herself as they turned to follow along SummerClan's border. "It's amusing to think we might run into SummerClan patrols." She noted. "Froststar would be quite surprised I imagine." She said as she led them along.
"Well at least we have the element of surprise," Cypresspaw pointed out, her gaze darting around her, constantly checking her surroundings. "But it's also just SummerClan, we'd probably send them running away with their tails tucked!"
Burningstar hid a frown as she listened to Cypresspaw and turned her head to focus on the path ahead expression becoming sad. Already her cats were expanding their sights to other clans? Seeing them as something to be conquered and bested? She'd met Froststar back when they'd both been deputies. Froststar was what Burningstar would've considered a friend of hers. Maybe they weren't close friends per say, but they were always on friendly terms.
She made a mental note to try and work on changing her clans view of the other clans. But she doubted that could be done while they had to stand guard over other clans they held prisoner. And now had a whole territory they'd claimed after kicking out SpringClan.
