Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
(1bitterchild thread for Vibrantpaw and Summersolstice)
Summersolstice sighed stretching, she'd been on the dawn patrol this morning and had taken a nap to recover from it. Lately she'd been feeling so lethargic. Shaking herself she got up and looked around, noting the air was starting to cool as the sun began to set. A soft purr slipped out of her despite herself. A hunt in the early hours of night sounded lovely, it had been too long since she'd enjoyed a traipse out in the darker hours.
Though she'd adapted to life in SunClan, she couldn't deny missing the beauty of night time, the cool air, the crickets and their whining song. She let out another soft sigh, the more she thought about it the more she liked the thought of it.
As she made her way to the camp entrance she noted Vibrantpaw sitting. She took a great deal after her father Driscal in her being a tabby rather than a ginger like Sumersolstice, Radiantpaw, Sparklingpaw, and Dancingpaw.
But though it had been a one night stand while Summersolstice had been grieving the loss of Lindon, she loved her kits dearly, even those currently back in her home clan of NightClan.
"Vibrantpaw, would you like to go out hunting for me? IT feels like it's going to be a lovely evening."
"We can do that," Summersolstice agreed as she headed out of the camp, tail beckoning for Vibrantpaw to follow. As they made their way out into SunClan's territory Summersolstice's gaze drifted towards NightClan's territory, "Perhaps... we can walk along the border tonight?" She suggested softly. "It would be nice to just... look and see how the forest is doing," She murmured softly.
Summersolstice had been about to continue walking when she saw Vibrantpaw drop into a crouch. She came to a stop and glanced over towards her daughter, holding back a purr as she watched her start to stalk. It was hard not to purr with pride, her daughter's form was good. But she wouldn't disturb her and ruin her hunting, for now she stood and watched.
