Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Birch sat uncharacteristically quiet in the corner of the prison, his amber eyes bright under the few stray rays of moonlight that gave the prison a gentle glow. He stared out in deep thought, distracted but in his mind, it was a safe place to be distracted. The few prisoners that had kept him and his brother company had moved on to bigger and better things leaving the two brothers alone in the now peaceful and rather boring prison. Birch's brows narrowed as he thought of those who came and went. From his understanding, there was a trial held for the prisoners to determine their fate. In their long time in their prison, Birch and his brother had gain notoriety amoungst the clan cats, having not only built up their worth in ludicrous chores and mundane tasks, but also the trust of noteworthy members such as Chestnupaw, the young pupil who discovered the brothers in their hour of need. A gentle chuckle escaped him as he though of the sweet tempered she-cat. She was unique amoungst the rather prideful and cold members of Winterclan and one that left a soft spot in the rouge's heart. The content moment didn't last though as more pressing matters haunted the tom's mind. What would happen to them? Did they do enough to prove themselves worthy enough to stay? Did they even want to stay and be apart of a Clan? If they did, would it end up like their old rouge group? Would they be used for more sinister gains? And what if they did leave, where would they go? Would they run into their ex-group again? Would they be able to take more than 3 cats together if they stumbled across a patrol? The questioned were endless and loud leaving the rouge to quietly fight through the voices...
(This is set before they get to WIC right, like flashback style? Sorry completely thought I'd replied to this but apparently not. Consuela)
Rowan looked over towards his brother from where he'd been dozing. The chuckles were strange, especially since Birch was just staring out into the open. Just what was he laughing about? "Birch?" He was concerned, mostly because he was hoping his little brother wasn't going crazy, or that this was another part of the sickness he'd had that he'd just recovered from not long ago. His mind was worrying on the now and future, not so much the past. As far as Rowan was concerned, as long as they were far, far away from their old group, they were better off. No group could be as bad as them. He didn't think they'd ever leave this prison and really it was much better off than any kind of prison he could imagine the rogue group having created. At least they were feed and their illnesses cared for. IN eth rogue group they were have been killed rather than taken as prisoners.
(Yes! This is the conversation the two will have in regards to whether they would want to stay (If given the chance) or if they would leave.)
His brother's call brought Birch out of his deep thoughts, turning to face him fully. His signature, crooked smile graced his expression in the millisecond he heard his brother's voice. Not wanting to concern his brother with the thoughts that plagued him, he approached Rowan in a cheerful manner, his steps light and dance like as he approached his brother's side. "I am here now don't you worry my dear brother." He teased settling down comfortably in front of his brother, laying down on his stomach as he faced the brown tom head on "They haven't sacrificed me yet to their gods, so no need to worry." He joked, resting his head down on his front paws innocently, all while staring up at Rowan.
Rowan rolled his eyes a settled his face back into it's neutral resting grump one. If the tom was joking and cheerful then clearly there was nothing to worry about. And yet, something still tugged at him and made him question the sudden behavior of his sole little brother. "Something still bothers you. So spill it. It's not their gods or being sacrificed. We both know the sweet little Chestnut won't let that happen." The she-cat had grown fond of them and them of her, though Rowan still had a hard time with the warrior style names around here and tended to just call her Chestnut.
(So how are we going about this thread? Consuela Talking about the past, challenging the idea about becoming full members?)
Birch gave his brother another charming smile. There was no point in trying to direct his brother away from the truth. He knew him too well.
With a heavy sigh, he blinked away the casual smile to a more tamed one, visibly letting the act go to stare up at his brother, his bright amber gaze unwavering. "There is an opportunity to stay." He pointed out blatantly "They've pardoned the Cadets but one stayed behind to join the clan." He glance off in that moment, thinking hard on his words "There is a chance we might be offered the same and I couldn't help but wonder what we will do if we are given that chance." He went quiet, the idea weighing heavily on the white tom's mind before turning back to face his brother "Have to thought about the idea... of maybe staying if we could?"
