Lounging before the eternal flame, an almost unimaginably large feline flicked it's tail lazily from side to side. The flame crackled and danced, causing it to lift it's massive head towards the sound as a small cat appeared walking through the flame into the open aired chamber. The tiger slowly stood, long nails clicking on the sandstone steps as it walked toward the little she-kit "So you have returned to us little janus" it's voice was deep echoing off the stones and filling the air around them, causing several heads of onlookers to rise and stare at the newcomer with hunger in their eyes "What is it that you seek to learn?" the keeper of the flame questioned
The room around them had high vaulted ceilings, the eternal flame at the center reaching ever upwards. Around the flame was large sandstone steps in perfect circles, descending downwards. Each step was large enough for the tiger to lie comfortably, but the steps were far from smooth. Each circle was carved with part of story of the Sun God's eternal war with the moon, the designs intricate and life like but very difficult to read in it's entirety for a cat as small as Gingersnap. It closely resembled the hidden temple within the Janus Camp, or perhaps more accurately the hidden temple was molded after this. Before the flame were carefully laid out and prepared offerings for the Sun God, some of which Gingersnap would recognize and others that would pique the interests of even the least curious of minds. Strange prey animals, herbs, stones, gems... But even more curious were the felines that surrounded the alter. Some were cats smiliar to those known to Gingersnap, but among the present were tigers, lions, leopards, even cougars.
"Hi, yes! Today I want to work on combat, specifically the art in avoiding anyone landing a paw on me. Also yikes, is that a cat at the sacrifice altar? I keep trying to find sacrifices for the Sun God, but they either get away or he doesn't like them. He's picky," She said kicking a stone with her flame point paw. Her aquamarine doe eyes fixated back onto the tiger with a gleeful smile. Plenty probably wondered what was in that mind of hers. She saw the same things everyone else did, but she had no sense of danger and little clue about what was right or wrong, only that if you did something wrong it was supposed to be okay in the pursuit of knowledge.

The tiger chuckled "then through the tunnel you go little one" he lazily motioned towards one of the tunnels off to the side "You should be able to find somewhere there to assist you. Many of the Janus are out sparring tonight, so you are in luck" Though the guardian of the flame offered basic guidance to all of the living that came here, he rarely did any training of them himself. Mostly he pointed cats in the right direction and let them explore and negotiate on their own terms "A small piece of advice, if you prove to be a worthy student some may mentor you for their own enjoyment rather than something material"
"Okey dokey! Thanks for everything," Gingersnap squeaked before frolicking down the tunnel. Maybe she would see that dreamboat mysterious tom again that liked paw massages. She bet he would be a hot teac- a good teacher... NAH! A hot teacher for sure. She smiled to herself at the thought of him before she exited the tunnel. She wondered if this was what she would be doing in the afterlife, teaching people things, getting foot rubs. A janus's work was never complete. "Hey, anyone around want to play with me?" She called out, "I'd love to play a game where you try to touch me and then I gotta try to dodge, it would really help me out if someone tried to get sass-say."

As Gingersnap emerged from the tunnel, white steam floated over the sandstone like thick clouds. Moving forward a few steps, Gingersnap would see a natural hotspring, the water gently bubbling as several cats lounged within and around it. Fur clung to well defined muscles, as a particularly handsome black tom pulled himself from the water, rivlets of water slowly gliding down his cheek and dripping onto the stone floor. His body glided over the ground effortlessly, his blue eyes sparkling and lopsided grin on his face "Well it isn't every day we have a a gorgeous young lady making such requests, I'd be happy to oblige"
Before he could speak another well-built tom had made his way over, a scar hanging over his forest green eyes. His dusty brown fur was dry, looking like it had been tussled by the wind. He was also handsome, but in a much different way than the first. While the other tom was sleek and charming, he was rough and ragged. They type of guy that didn't say many words, but when he did would make your knees trembled as he held you down and told you things you didn't even know you wanted "You should be careful what you wish for"
Movement around them swirled as more toms were rising to their feet
Gingersnap smiled ear to ear, fanning herself as she watched the toms step out of the water, "Yee Gods!" She exclaimed, her entire body melting for every gorgeous body that slowly came her way. "Can I take the whole set of you home with me?" She giggled uncontrollably.
Every time she came to this place she kept forgetting, it was so annoying having to wake up! She just wanted to live here or at the very least, wake up to eat and then go back to this dream palace. Her gaze suddenly awoke a little more before pressing her paw into the air as though objecting, "Hold on, I'm afraid that what you heard was me jokingly asking if I could take all of you home with me. What I am saying is I want you to actually tell me how to bring you all home with me if it's something I am actually capable of doing. If the price is to kill a host I'll do it, we can find a rogue, whatever you need!"

The black tom lifted the young she-cat's chin, until his blue eyes were staring into hers "Now, Now, there sweet cheeks, as much as I'd like to answer your question bringing the dead back to life isn't quite that simple" he lowered his head pressing his nose against her forehead as the two twins closed in their pelts brushing against hers as they leaned in to whisper into both of her ears, their warm breathe tickling the fur along her neck "Even obtaining the knowledge of that sort requires sacrifices..." the other twin leaned in to continue where his brother left of "of a high level, perhaps a High Priest or Priestess of the moon would do" The dusty brown tom stood to the side slightly, but his eyes never left her "but having the knowledge of how to do so, doesn't guarantee you will be able to meet the requirements to do so"
"But there's only like..." She pulled her paw as she counted on her toes, "One two... That's only four bodies, that wouldn't be enough for all of you! Ugh, what a rip off," Gingersnap pouted, "Well alright, hopefully when I die and go to heaven you'll be there waiting for me," She sighed in disappointment.
"Maybe some cuddle time could cheer me up?" She suggested with a purr, "Then when we're nice and cozy we can discuss deals and such."

The soft laughter of the fallen Janus filled the air "When you die, you could always choose to continue to serve the Sun God here" the black tom began to gently groom her cheeks, one of the twins leaned in "There is nothing to stop you from joining us then" he tongue began to rasp at the soft fur behind her ear "and you can always come and visit us in your dreams" the other twin began grooming the fur along her neck, slowly making his way down towards her small shoulders. The dusty brown tom moved forward, shoving the other toms out of his way, and pulling her onto a warm embrace and onto his tummy as he laid on his back "Don't cry little ginger"
Gingersnap giggled at the soft rasp of his tongue, but as more joined in it wasn't long before she fell into a lull. Her cheeks blushed as she leaned into their warmth and was about to lick them each back, but smiled as the dusty brown tom fell back with her in his grip. She moved in next to him quick as though she belonged there all her life, "No wonder SunClan cats are so fearless, the afterlife is an upgrade." Her words were faint as she relaxed in his embrace, she wished they hadn't missed each other. "Once I've served my life I'll come back and spend my eternities with all of you."
She licked the side of the toms face lovingly, "Teheheh, so what do I have to do for you boys if I'm interested in a mentor? Specifically in, let's call it acrobatics."

The tom's all piled in, grooming Gingerkit from the tips of her ears to the end of her tail under all the grime had been cleaned away "MMM" purred one of the twins "I'd settle for some more cuddle time" the other twin added in. The white tom leaned in "you could just stay here and not go back" the dusky tom laying under her, wrapped his paws around her shoulder nuzzling against her cheek "just promise to stay"
Her blush deepened as the twins licked at her ears, "Really!?" Gingersnap squealed with delight, but toned down as the tom moved her closer. A purr broke loose as he nuzzled against her cheeks, unable to contain herself, "I promise that I want to stay with you," She agreed. She could have fallen asleep in his warmth if she weren't already asleep, "Let's cuddle and play and train all day. We'll do so much good for the temple here together."
