Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
She could tell the moment she neared MoonClan's territory. The smell in the air enchanted her. Frostwing drew closer, a thrill running up her spine and down her legs, encouraging her further. Just this evening she had stood up from her nest and made the decision. There was no family or friend in SpringClan for her. Beestripe had left moons ago. No, she would not be spending one more night in her bed.
Frostwing wasn't afraid at all as she crossed the border and entered the territory. She began scenting for a patrol or cat in the area. She was making this choice for the Moon Goddess and she didn't expect to be let down.
It would seem that Leviathan had a knack for finding lost cats wandering the moors at night. He had no issues often patrolling alone, finding that not many cats usually strayed too far from their nest at night, though he was beginning to question that now. More and more cats were joining MoonClan nearly every night, he was beginning to understand how Chimerastar felt when strange cats showed up at his doorstep begging for sanctuary, and much like the SwiftClan leader the cardinal had a hard time saying no. Something his Archbishop would never let him live down.
"Greetings, you're a ways from home aren't you?" the black and white tom asked as he approached Frostwing.
A little smile appeared on Frostwing's face as the black and white cat approached her. Finally. "Hello," Frostwing replied, adding, "And I would not say that at all. In fact, I have just made it home. It has been a tiring walk."
The silver and black tabby pricked her ears as she heard more voices in the area. One called out asking who was there, and Frostwing turned to the direction she heard the sound. "My name is Frostwing," she called out louder this time. "Come this way." Then she turned back to the cat who had discovered her. "Might I ask your name?"
"Frostwing" he echoed at a lower volume. "I'm Leviathan, based on what you've just told me, I can only assume you've come to join MoonClan then?" His ears pointed in the direction he heard his followers speaking, not feeling the need to respond to them as Frostwing had already called them over.
While Frostwing waited on the MoonClan patrol, she sat down in front of Leviathan. "Yes, that is why I have come." She felt comfortable sitting here and unafraid. "What must I do to join?"

(hei ho)
"With Leviathan? You have quite a few hoops to jump through, friend." A voice spoke up from the bushes, one tickled with dry humor. He wasn't part of a patrol. Just gathering herbs from the plants around. The heavy medicinal smell that accompanied Nereus nowadays could have been a bit much. Rich green eyes set into a shadow of a cat's form as the Medium came to stand next to the Cardinal. From when he first moved here, he had bulked up some. Still slender, but his pelt was getting lusher and his bones didn't stick out as much. Compared to Leviathan, he was far less trusting of the outsiders. If it was Selene's will, he would not argue. But until he was sure, he was gonna stay somewhat skeptical.
Frostwing trained her eyes on the new addition to their discussion. This cat was making it seem that joining MoonClan would not be as easy as she had thought. Still, she wanted this above all else and was determined to get it. She'd come all this way after all. To the new cat, Frostwing said, "Then perhaps I should rest somewhere so I can be ready to jump."

Nereus already didn't have much bravado, any left fizzled away when Frostwing responded to him so casually. He licked the side of his lips, tongue sweeping across his teeth before turning to Leviathan. "Perhaps, though I'm not one to step on our good leader's toes."
The Cardinal opened his mouth to reply, but before he could respond the Medium gave his answer to which Levee shot the gray tom an amused look. As always he worked at the grass under his paws anxiously with his claws. his tail idly flicking to and fro as the two cats spoke, but when Nereus sat beside him he stilled. Turning back to Frostwing, maybe his friend was right about not letting just any cat join their ranks but, Leviathan was more kind-hearted than he let on. Nereus knew that better than any cat in the clan.
"You're more than welcome to rest back at camp until you decide you're ready to jump" the cardinal purred.
Frostwing's gaze calmly looked between the two cats. She was grateful that they hadn't outright kicked her out of MoonClan territory, especially since she was so tired from her trip over. "I would be more than pleased," she replied, tail giving a quick lash to show her happiness before stilling. "Lead the way?"

"Of course. Right this way." He really was as kind hearted as ever. It was a quality Nereus envied, though he would never admit it. He stood up slowly, gracefully, before turning to lead the way.
