Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Autumngossamer arranged the animal bones in a clay vase like container, soon enough she would be reading the horoscopes for July so they should be on standby. Lately her den was beginning to feel empty, Harvestpaw and Sweetpaw would stay out late. The rest of her kits had their own passions and her husband was out performing his job as a warrior. This was the kind of life every stepford wife dreamed of having. Aside from her family, she was the only one in the entire world who knew she wasn't happy or content.
She lifted her paw up, staring at the dainty prim white fur and the perfect pink skin at the padding. Her thoughts traveled deeper into the past, losing focus. Why was she punished with her litter? Littlestar had said that when she was cursed she had been punished so why did the Sun God make her pregnant knowing he was going to kill her kits? Why did he have to mess with her? If he wasn't so stupid he wouldn't have gotten himself hurt! The skin on her paw turned raw and blackened as the white fur greyed turning mangy and twisted.
Let go of the past and it will let go of you. She took a deep breath, pausing, then slowly released. Her paws beauty reformed simultaneously with her breath. The real bitter irony was that she had everything, won everything. So now she had everything to lose if the Sun God freed himself from the curse.
Taking another deep breath she walked over to one of the caged animals and pulled out a squirrel. Cracking the living being open it was still squirming as she pulled the organs around searching for interpretations of the future. "The sun is behind you," She read carefully with confusion, "The hell does that mean?"
