Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
SPECIAL PROMOTIONS Undertow / Jetclaw // Mercenary Superior Laurel / Simplylight // Scout Superior Havilah / Jadie // Sentinel Jezi / Hollypaw // Sentinel
Arcadia / Luciferin // Scout Head Cadet
Unlike previous moons, this was the first real sign of the Regime picking up speed. It was more than time for the Cadets who'd been promoted, as for the tykes, and now Shule had two of the Superiors and her Sentinels all filled up. Truly, the feline felt more comfortable now than ever. Though the Regime was cold for most the year, this season was the only one wherein the snow melted topside, akin to spring elsewhere. Prey ran better, and with every cat hunting, along with the traps the group was using thanks to the materials they'd begun trading with NightClan some time back, for the first time in a long while, the Regime was full. No cat went hungry, and cats were filling out once more. Slow progress, but things were looking up, and the stern Commander wore just the whispers of a smile across her face as she dismissed the promotions with a flick of her tail.
Undertow had certainly been pushing himself to do better the past few moons in an effort to attract notice. He'd heard murmurs Shule was looking to fill her close ranks, and that there were openings for a sentinel. He hadn't been about to pass that up, especially since Gardenia had that rank.
He had been rather startled when Shule took him aside to inform him he'd been selected as the Mercenary Superior.
It was... unusual for him. He'd been prepared to be accepted as a cut above the rest, but leadership had not been something he expected. Now mercenaries would be looking to him to set an example and serve as one of the commander's paws.
His tail flicked as he simply nodded and shifted to the side as promotions concluded, casting his eyes out for Gardenia. Trying to see her reaction.

Cadet Arcadia, no, Head Cadet Arcadia. The title had a nice ring to it, she thought. She couldn't help but look around the cavern for Havilah, wanting to see his face when she finally proved to him that she was a good scout cadet, now designated so by Commander Shule's own voice. Still, she couldn't help the anxiety that welled up in her as she thought of the new responsibilities that would be placed on her shoulders. She had already acted as a sort of head cadet before, but now her word carried some authority that it hadn't before. Would she be responsible enough to use her power safely?
Cadet Havilah's Sentinel scars, three deep scratches on his chest, glistened in the low lights of the cavern. Commander Shule herself had given them to him shortly before the formal announcement of his new status. To say he was surprised was an understatement. While he knew in his heart he deserved it, he had expected to spend more moons as a normal Scout before such promotions. Although not blood related, Shule was his grandmother, and she was fair. She was not one to practice nepotism, not unless the cat she selected was deserving of it. A rare smile teased at the corners of his lips as his name was announced.

"Congratulations, Head Cadet Arcadia." He sought her out after Shule had dismissed the gathering of cats. His smile from earlier but he was purring, "I guess I owe you an apology, I didn't think you had it in you." eventide
