Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Levee sat calmly in front of the gathered group of kits outside the nursery. Looking at their little faces and how cute they were made it hard for even the cardinal’s heart not to melt at the sight of them. He shook his head lightly to refocus. He wasn’t here just to gush over the cuteness of MoonClan’s youths. He was here to teach them and test their knowledge of Selene’s teachings, and maybe… just maybe play games with them. With no she-cats in the nursery to care for them he had taken it upon himself to look after them.
“Settle down children” he purred lightly. “If we can get through tonight’s lesson quickly enough I promise we can play until it’s time for you all to go to sleep.”
Briarkit didn't want to have a lesson, she wanted to play. She made these feelings quite clear with an annoying yowl, "But I want to play now Levee." The dark ginger youth was standing with her fur bristling and a pout on her young face.
The Cardinal did his best to remain composed. The small she-kit's defiance didn't brother him in the slightest, but he knew if he laughed or cracked a smile that he would be sending her the wrong message. "You must be patient little one. The longer you postpone the lesson the less time you'll have to play."
Apricotkit was practically vibrating at the idea of learning more about the Moon Goddess. It was her belief, and many others, that her litter had been found on the night of the Festival Moon as a blessing from the Goddess. It was an added bonus that it'd been a full moon that night, even more of a blessing! Somedays she wondered who her parents were, or if the Goddess had merely placed them there of her on doing. These ideas haunted her dreams, allowing her imagination to run wild.
Briarkit went over to her sister who was sitting there like a good little youth and nudged her gently. "Apricotkit, c'mon. Don't you wanna play now, too?" She knew she needed to have a little more respect for Levee but she could only be so patient. This lesson had better be an interesting one.
Phantomkit personally didn't really feel like listening to what Levee had to say. She understood that tradition and customs were important to the cats of her clan so she was trying her best to sit still, pay attention, and listen- but her best wasn't very good. She hoped this wouldn't take to long as she would much rather be playing around with the other youths right now.
Apricotkit grinned, "nah I wanna learn some more! Can you imagine how strong the Goddess is! I wanna be just like her when I'm a warrior." Well, the kit at least knew that the Goddess was strong and beautiful. Exactly like how Apricotkit wanted to be, beautiful and strong.
The dark ginger she-kit sat down with a thud, flicking her tail in annoyance. Nobody else seemed to agree with her and she was getting nowhere. It looked like Briarkit was going to have to settle in for a lesson regardless of what she wanted.
The tall gray kit next to Briarkit rolled his eyes in annoyance at the she-cat's childish behavior. Slightly flinching away from the dust she managed to stir up when she'd flopped down. "The longer you all take complaining the longer it'll take Leviathan to start the lesson." he pointed out, giving his father his seemingly undivided attention.
"Well seeing as you guys are already having a hard time settling, why don't you decide together what lesson you want to learn today?" The cardinal asked, looking to each kit to gauge their reaction. "Once you figure it out let me know."
